This place is fun and educational. Went there for a girl scout event to drop off much needed supplies Towels, old blankets, sheets. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Social distancing is pretty easy
Enjoyed every minute. Beautiful gods animals. Thank you and God bless
Its fantastic that they rescue and rehabilitate injured and orphaned native wildlife. I love that! The staff was able to provide environmental education on the owl we saw there that day, but unless you were part of the kids birthday party or they come into the schools, there is no interaction with the animals. My daughter and nephew would have loved to handle the animals offered to the birthday party, but that was not an option. There were very little animals in their encasements as well, so the visit and this was dragging it out was 30 minutes. We will not go back, but it does not take away what they do for the animals.
Alot of nice animal they are a injured animals place love the visit would do it again
This is truly a special place. For animal lovers of all kinds, this place represents empathy.
Great camp for my child.
Great for naturists. However, if youre looking for a more formal zoo-like experience, this place may not be for you. Theres not much shade so bring a hat or wear sun block. This is very educational and nice place for leisure time. Expect to spend less than an 2 hours there.
Its very small but they do wonderful work and the cages have great descriptions. It explains why the animal is there with a good description of the species. I give it five stars because they could use all the funding they can get and for a small facility its very well done. You can see everything in under an hour.
Our father daughter group did a community service project for the Nature Center. This place does fantastic work right here in our community backyard taking care of animals that have been hurt or just needed some help. Support them!
What a terrific healing centre for animal wildlife. Volunteers help to keep Sawgrass Nature Centre and Wildlife Hospital running. They have animals from Wally the alligator to prairie dogs to a loud hawk and everything in between. On each cage a tale is told on how that animal made it to the centre. The Centre is not large, but the hearts there are. Takes about an hour to view the animals. All proceeds go to help injured wildlife.
What a wonderful experience we had. The three ladies that I spoke to were informative, friendly and passionate about the animals would highly recommend.
Great little place hidden away. As any true gem. Love bringing the kids here to kill an afternoon, get a good education, and see some really cool animals.
We brought an injured white winged dove to them for help, as we found her (or him) floating in our pool one Sunday afternoon. They took her in and started working with her right away. They were so nice and knowledgeable and were hopeful that she was going to eventually be just fine. What an amazing community resource. Thank you to the staff and all the volunteers that dedicate their time for such a meaningful cause.
Very interesting to visit and see the animals and orchids.
We had a wonderful experience, so glad that such facilities exist
Wonderful place. Great summer camp. My boys love it here.
I love what they do for animals but wasnt very kid friendly or kept up. Thank you for all your help with the animals thou!
We love this place. It is open to the public and here are many wild animals here that have been rescued. They have owls, hawks, parrots, raccoons, prairie dogs, turtles, fish, snakes, lizards and an alligator just to mention a few. The cost is currently $3 for an adult $2 for children. There are indoor and outdoor habitats to see the animals and a butterfly garden to walk through as well. A wonderful place to take your children or just enjoy some peace with nature.
This organization is very kind to sick animals. I thought the orchid garden was interesting. The place is a little bit smaller than what I expected and only takes about an hour or less to visit.
They really care for the animals and I have even dropped off baby birds baby squirrels and even a baby bat and they have all been taken in with lots of care love this place just leave a small donation please
Great place educating the public about wildlife and taking care of injured animals
This center could be so much, but will never thrive with Allen Rose. The current Direct Allen Rose collects the money, but where does it go??? They have had two Gala in 2015 50K raised and 2016 monies were collected and never used for their purpose and he scrambled to get things done before this years Gala because they were asking when things were going to be completed and where is the money? You tell the staff they need to cut expenses and you list the animals food REALLY try your of $5,000.00 a month salary Allen!Funny how you are starting to suddenly start doing things at the center for the habitats. I truly hope you actually put the money into the center and those animals because you are going to have to answer for it. This is a non profit 501(c)(3), which means you have to account for the monies. I truly hope you get that place in order because it is all about taking care of the animals and not personal gain. What about the Turtle raffle for the replica of the turtle for $5.00 a ticket?? Why is it still under the desk in the admin building where is that money and who is the winner. Money was collected and they want to know the winner if not you need to refund that money to every person because they is FRAUD to collect and never annouce a winner. Please for the sake of the animals get the center in order and every person who sits on that board do your job and make sure everything is run correctly.Wendy W, Matt F, Linda P, Greg W, Elaine W, Susan K, Penny K and Linda P. You are on this board and you are just a responsible for this and Allen Rose you please review what is happening.
A small but neat place to visit and see wildlife you would not normally encounter.
It is nice place and it is a good charity. It is one done stop.
Very nice Nature Center with a hospital and incredible staff that took our mourning doves that we found and agreed to raise them. Very nice facility very nice people
This little-known place is a gem in Coral Springs. Theyre helping out local wildlife. They also offer programs for kids, including a Be Kind to Animals segment every weekend. Highly recommended for a visit. Theyre just off the Sawgrass - we all drive by every day and most people dont know about this place.
Very cute nature center. Its small but great!
Would be great for kids, as a solo adult I found it pleasant but not must-see. I’m sure the wildlife hospital does good work and the collection of resident injured native and nonnative birds and reptiles was cool.
We loved our visit! Staff were all nice and the animals seemed very well cared for. The negative reviews on here are so pointless... lolSome people want to find the bad in everything so they post on here because they don’t have the nerve to tell anyone in person. Stop worrying about where the money is going and focus on the fact that this facility is giving refuge to creatures that need our help.Nice little gift shop as well.
Great hidden gem in Coral Springs. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have an assortment of mostly native and a few non native animals. Beautiful garden and wetlands.
Great service. thank you
Very disappointed in the callous, dismissive attitude of Heather, the volunteer coordinator. Im sure others there are doing fine work, as two others were extremely nice when I brought in an orphaned raccoon. However, she should not be coordinating the volunteers if she cant lead by example in being professional, courteous, and empathetic. I see this interaction as a failure of ethics on this establishments behalf, and I will not support a place that engages in such harmful practices.
Wonderful place to learn more about the wildlife and native plants in southern Florida.
Everyone should visit! Its very educational and an affordable place to take the kids. And it is for a good cause!
My family and I love this place and the selfless work they do for all the rescued animals. They are great at educating people on the animals and out Eco system.
I had brought over an injuried baby bird (not sure what kind) here and they immediately took him in. Took great care of him too. And I also had brought in 16 ducklings (2 different sets) that were now orphaned because their mothers passed away. And they were happy to help us find a great place where they currently are.
Family of 4 and we loved it here! The boat and tram were a bonus m
Such a wonderful place to take the family. They count on donations to help the animals, amazing!
Wonderful experience! Very caring help and volunteers. Could use more donations!!
Came here for earth day. They have animals and pavilions where you can learn a lot and talk to people about the native flora and fauna. Great for kids. They do rescue, such as an owl with a hurt beak and you can visit the animals
Great little place. Weve visited several times, kids slways have great time. Been to a birthday party here which was very neat.
Great place to enjoy morning walk & get away
Cute little place I have been taking my little one her for years....she loves it
A special place to bring that injured bird or squirrel you found. Nature center has many live animal exhibits and a not to be missed, Jan Kolenda tile mural.
We went with the kids. Really enjoy the place. The weather was perfect, so that helped. Parking was easy, so was getting in and out of the place.
Great place! Working to help wildlife and educate people about them
Animals on the outside of pretty cool but its kind of like they make you donate. If I want to donate I will donate you dont make me donate

Kind of a small place with not a whole lot to do but still a great place to bring the young ones to get a little bit of animal and nature information.
Small place, but do help with the animals
Great place to visit with the kids

Great for family outing
Fantabulous spot to know about wildlife
Lots of animals but out of the way location
Im sure that this place is doing a great job of taking care of the animals but its kind of sad to see them in such small enclosures.
