Its a v.good place for kids and the awesome thing is the Lifeguards, they are many and always on alert. U can leave ur kids to have fun and take a break. They are in good hands.

Very pleasant, clean and staff is professional!The only things are: that they could keep opening after the Labor Day Holiday and the price could be better for the elder and small children.I went with my 3 year old son and parents and had to pay for everybody. Thanks

Great for kids. Kids come here for swimming lessons. They have indoor and outdoor pools, basket ball court, kids play area, park. Gym, badminton .

Great staff and great place to work out! The equipment is modern and the weight room is always well organized. The indoor pool is sometimes crowded, but the swimmers are always friendly and willing to share a lane. The outdoor pool (when open) is fantastic. They seriously underestimated the size of the pools; however, and I am taking a star simply because of that - this is Texas and we swim to beat the heat!

Not bad, wish that each new membership wouldnt cost Coppell taxpayer more money.

I guess the gym is decent. The treadmills are usually covered in dried sweat so I wouldn’t exactly call it the cleanest gym in the world. I like that they have fitlinkxx machines but that’s about it. The staff is the biggest problem I have with this place. They are completely useless and unfriendly. There is literally one good employee.

I highly recommend The CORE.

It was very good to hang out with my friends after school there. Its nice and cold in there also which is very good against the Texas heat.

Love this place, they can renovate the gym more considering how much taxes are collected. Maybe add an incline bench, lat pull down, or some extra benches by squat racks. Folks working here are always friendly.

Very inexpensive, cheap snacks, great place to take little ones.

Free classes, Olympic indoor pool, big park, ping pong tables, basketball court, indoor track, you can borrow basketballs and locks for the lockerooms for free, outdoor water park style pools, big gym, friendly staff, flexible hours, affordable prices for all the family, and a daycare for your stay here. What else can you ask for. SUPERB PLACE.

Great staff and facilities. Would like more indoor lap swimming scheduled for people who work during the day.

It has a very good membership program and various summer classes for kids. I have used their pool facility only.They have very nice outdoor pool where kids love to play in the water slide. Outdoor pool will be open on Memorial Day weekends.They have a very affordable daily pass if you are not a regular visitor like me.

Front desk lady is more interested in greeting people who come in (already members) rather than person who stand in front of her.

The play ground is incredibly beautiful with the huge trees overhead! Soooo wonderful to have shade for the littles to play outside in.

I absolutely love this place!! Have my boys enrolled in the Hot Shots Self Defense program with Master William McDonald. not only has my boys confidence skyrocketed but it has brought me peace of mind that they will be able to defend themselves if something were ever to happen. Nowadays we can never be to sure. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! Thank you so much for bringing this class to Coppell!

I actually enjoy working out at this gym. Its is always clean and the staff is friendly. I used to work out at a chain gym in Coppell and it was horrible. this is a much better experience and I look forward to going.

Seriously love this gym. Its the perfect size, and they have everything I need when it comes to lifting and group classes.Also one of the trainers there is incredibly enthusiastic and I love it.Four stars because there are hardly and showers or privacy for showers. I dont have any where to put my stuff when I need to shower.

The actual park is massive and it is good for morning runs since it is so big and very queit. They also have Kid Country which is a great place to take your kids and it will keep them occupied for a long time. There are also trails that lead into foresty areas if you want to run in that environment.

I really like everybody here but the hours are somewhat limited and the weightlifting area is packed every time I go so I actually stopped going. I like it but they either need to expand or do something else because cost wise its about the same as most of the places around although they were very nice about memberships you can cancel when you want but they got rid of their punchcard system which I was thinking about getting because each time I went it was just too many people

The CORE is a great recreation center in Coppell Texas with a clean environment and many fun courses to take.

Labor Day Fun!! Great Community. Friendly Staff and Visitors. Pool Rules not strict kids can have fun without the wistle blowing too much. Bike in the trail play volleyball, watch the fishes, turtles, ducks in the lake.... All free except the pool which is 4$ x person.

Nice gym and the outside water park is fun for the kids. I feel like the flower mound cac is a little nicer, but this one is good too.

Nice for retired people like me during the day when it is not crowded. The weight room is small and is very crowded after work and on weekends. They have early hours that I would recommend for those who work because it is not quite so busy. The pool is little used, especially the indoor pool during the winter. I was surprised about that. If you like to swim laps you will have little trouble finding a lane, especially during the day. BTW, I strongly recommend the clay track nearby at Andy Brown West. It is very easy on the knees compared to about any other running surface. I also recommend the bike and skate trails surrounding the rec center. The recreation center is more than just the indoor part to me. It is surrounded by places to run, bike and skate outdoors as well.

The staff is very friendly! If youre a Coppell resident, your membership is discounted. Ive really been enjoying the Zumba classes and havent done much else yet. I can tell you that Sharon is awesome! Her classes get a little crowded, but we all seem to have a good time. Towels have always been available at the fitness desk, which is great. The only thing I dont like is the fact that sometimes the fans that are placed in the group room dont always function properly.

Horrible experience! From entering the facility up to the point were my kids were harrassed and kicked out of the pool from an Indian lady whos kids and family were swimming on the other end of the of the lane. It was pretty much her way or no way and the the incompetent staff let her get away with it. Just bad! Really puts a bad name to the city and facility.

Positive and upbeat staff. Clean. The gym is equipped. Most of the times there is no wait time on the machines.

Fun atmosphere nice helpful staff, friendly.

This is a great for young kids (0-12). The lifeguards are very serious and watch the kiddos like a hawk! It isnt a place where you want to go if you want peace and quiet. And often finding a seat in the shade can be tough but, all in all, my son and I have a great time and it is clean.

Ive lived in Coppell most of my life and love the Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center! I think the people who run it there are great.However, Ive recently been disappointed by their new work-out area:I dont have access to a track (within my understanding) anymore, where I could have done something like farmers walks, or caught my breath between sets by walking a lap.The area surrounding the dumbbells and barbells prior to this was surrounded by mirrors so you could watch your form, and was terrific for getting focused and in the zone.So, I now no longer can watch my form as I do bar squats within the given rack, and the arrangement of things within the freeweights area does not improve the use of space.SO, thats the only reason I could give them a two on facilities.Unlike the other user, Ive taken exercise classes since middle school here. Yoga certainly starts timely, and people tend to be courteous enough to not come in late, let alone the teacher..Again, the people who work here are good at their job to say the least.

Iv been to the core to swim several times and we really enjoy it so we decided to become members.
