Good course overall, nice views for some of the holes. Even though most bunkers have mud instead of sand, the green looks like colored with dye, and they will pair you with a stranger in the same cart during COVID unless you pay an extra cart, I would play this course again.

Good course for a great price. Found a tee time for $25 on GolfNow, and I think that is more than fair for this course. Greens rolled consistent and soft. Fairways were in decent shape. I was impressed by the layout as well. There are some fun holes on this course. Pace of play was the only issue. Our last 4 holes took a very long time as there was a log jam of people finishing. Overall a good course, not great, but for $25 cant beat it.

I’m giving this course 3.5 stars. Very nice layout and as the website says, it IS a hidden gem (or something like that). HOWEVER... it needs some serious attention... Greens were fair but inconsistent, some fast, some slow, different grasses... fairways were especially bumpy... cart paths could use some TLC. I really liked the course except for the conditions. If they spruced it up and maintained it better it would definitely be 5 Stars and could easily a course in the $75 range. Easily. I’m hoping to see better conditions next time I play here.

Had a lot of fun. Greens were good. Fairways good to hit off of but not good for carts (too bumpy). Wish the carts would go a bit faster. I will be back.

We arrived at 7am to use the driving range, and eventhough there were ample carts we we not able to use one to ride to the driving range which was a good 10 minute walk. There was a gentleman there already playing that had a cart and I asked why he had one and the General Manager, Jeremy could not explain to me why he had a cart. He expressed since he was the only one working that he would not be able to sanitize carts. I let him know that we would only be about 45 minutes. There were only a few golfers around. I said, every business has had to accommodate or change the ways of business to deal with Covid. You should have more help if you cannot satisfy your customers. Now more than ever is a time to work and gain the business you can. You just lost 2 customers who would have put good money into your business and hopefully others will see that you dont want to do the work to run a business. Save yourself the trouble and bring your business elsewhere.

Played there on Thursday 04/30/2020. I have played this course about a dozen times and overall I really enjoy the course. Theres some really beautiful holes on this course. But why in the world are most of the tee boxes not flat and level and some of them are in horrible shape, 11, 12 and 17 specifically. The 16th fairway is probably one of the worst fairways I have ever played in my life. There are pastures around here that are probably in better shape. Im looking forward to the rest of the course opening up cause I do enjoy playing this course. But man theres some work that needs to be done.

Havent played this course in a few years, but it has deteriorated significantly. Taking this course off my options.

Our group was constantly harassed today by the attendant! Played a foursome today (4/24) and finished 18 holes in five and a half hours while walking yet was harassed 4 times by the attendant to play faster. The attendant working today drove by people not abiding by the actual law of maintaining a 6 foot separation just to come tell us to pick up the pace. At one point it was even comical as he came by on the second to last hole to once again bother us. With all of the public courses available, go somewhere else where you can actually enjoy your round!

The cource is run down. Cart paths need to be replaced. They need to overseed the tee boxes with Rye grass so the dont turn into piles of dirt like they are now. It a fun tract to play. No marshals on the course to speed up play

Golf course greens recently aerated and sanded but in good shape bunkers wet & muddy, fairways not bad lots more grass then in the past tee boxes not bad .For $22.00. Not a bad deal.

Course has a nice layout, it plays medium difficult. I know its winter but greens are in really bad shape. The tee boxes are uneven and were all pretty much sand, hardly any grass. If there was grass, like I said it was uneven and had to move around to get yourself setup correctly with the ball. There are other parts of the course that could use some repairs such as cart paths. The staff was very friendly and the pace of play was great today. Teed off at 12:10 and played 18 in 3 1/2 for a twosome.

The course and staff are fantastic but the course is not senior friendly. And no one I play with will hit from red tees. This is also at several courses that are hurting for business...

A lot of water. Need to be average or better to play this course or plan on losing balls. Staff was great. Driving range a good distance from club house. Greens very fast due to the heat and being dry.

I played a tournament here and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was friendly and the facilities were well kept. The staff was well organized and had everything in order. Carts were lined up, labeled, and ready to go for the event. The course was nice, but a little challenging for a beginner. I lost several balls in the water.

Follow the rules. Stay and keep on the Cart Path. And, Play... The best, for today! Yeap.

I play this course if I really want to play, but cant find a place to play. This golf course is below average compared to others around the area. The course has couple of challenging par threes that I like. I would pay more to play this course more often if they kept it in better shape..Why do they allow people to cut in front of you at the turn? This causes confusion and conflicts at the 10th tee box..PLAY CAN BE VERY SLOW.

Round was played on a Friday afternoon (2:30pm).Greens haven’t fully grown in yet (I hope) for the summer. The speed was good but the surfaces were bumpy and patchy.Bunkers were bare and not very many raked.Tee boxes were hard and not level. Fairways had a few bare spots. Pace of play was ok (finished around 7).We paid less than $30 inc. cart, which in my opinion is about right given the conditions.Driving range mats are in terrible condition, as is the practice pitching/chipping green. Practice balls are not included with the round.

Price is right, greens decent, but...... tee boxes???

I am seeing some complaints about the price of this golf course. I played 18 holes with a cart for $21.00. Call up there and set up a tee time for lower prices. Do NOT use the website, it costs more. The course is a little cramped by surrounding houses and holes running along side each other. The par 3s are pretty long but I was playing from the back tees. I lost some balls because of the ball hitting some hard patches and bouncing into water. Did I say water? There is soooooo much water on this course. If you have a problem with a slice, bring some extra balls. Overall, this course is great! I will definitely be going back for another 18 holes.

Tee boxes need work and the bunkers are terrible but it is a fun course. Lots of water to be aware of and play around. We had an 1115 tee time on Fathers Day and they allowed a single to go at that time. Really? He could wait until there was a broken group because he is a single and it is a Sunday. We played in 2 hours on the front then ran into a three hour nine holes on the back.

Great Course and friendly staff. We were in Dallas for a few days of training. The staff got us on the course right away and helped us with rental clubs. Had a great time on the course. The Golf Pro and the man staffing the Golf Carts were very courteous. Definitely recommend especially at the great prices.

This is a good cheap golf course. You can get a membership for about $30 a month for unlimited range balls and play for just a cart fee in the afternoon. Its challenging enough for your average golfer. For the price, this is a great deal.

We go here a few times a year. Always fun and fair price. Id like the carts to have GPS but I have my phone or watch. The bar folks were always funny and courteous. I can be sure we will be back.

Course is okay especially for a public course. I wish the rough was more defined and the bunkers right now are hard as a rock.My biggest complaint is with tee times. Ive had it multiple times where Ill book for 2:30 to only have four groups in front of me on the first hole waiting. They need to be more strict for those who reserve a tee time and let them play before those that dont reserve and just show up.

Broken hearts and playing twice of front 9 holes today, due to flooded back 9 holes, We can seeing 10th hole.....cant crossing..No one informed us...

The golf course was in great shape...but there were NO marshals on the courses which made it a SLOW day...it should never take 3 hours to play 10 holes... will not go to that conure again...

Really let course go, I know it has not rained in the area but fairways have the kind of cracks you can lose a ball in. On a Friday the greens were not mowed & very ruff.

Great tract but the maintenance is lacking. Badly damaged cart paths, bunkers in bad condition. Not sure whats going on but this used to be a favorite. Hopefully they will invest in the course and bring it back to its glory. Still a fairly decent value.

One of the worst courses in the metroplex. Not a patch of smooth ground on the the whole course. Fairways are scorched and unkept. Cart paths are completely destroyed. Tee boxes have trash littered everywhere. Would not recommend.

This place is just okay. They should reduce the rate for the quality of the course. It is bit over price for public golf course. I would go to Indian Creek Golf Club instead of this golf course.

Definitely not worth the $47. We had 1:08 tee time yesterday and apparently so did 16 others. With that being said there was an argument over who’s group goes first. No starters. No Marshall’s resulting in us having to call the pro shop to find out what the deal was, whos going first and why so many. That got us know where. Finally we came to a resolution. So our 1:08 tee time turned into 1:47. Needless to say it was damn near 4oclock before finishing the front 9. Back 9 didn’t get any easier. 6:18 when we finally got back to the clubhouse. Tee boxes uneven and hard. Fairways were in decent shape. Sand boxes were like concrete. Just pick the ball up and throw it out. Greens were ok. I play a lot and in different places, needless to say Riverchase will not be one I will be returning to.

Worst golf experience in years.The course mgmt team obviously does not know what they are doing. I had tee time for 11am and arrived about an hour early to hit the bucket of balls that came with the price. Two hours later we finally got golf car and started play. Three hours later we finished the first nine holes. SLOW SLOW SLOW. We had to wait on every tee box and by the time we finally teed off the next group was sitting wanting on us.The management team stated it was out of their control. I think they need new management.To make matters worse, the were SELLING HALF PRICE TEAM TIMES WHEN I ARRIVED AT 10am and THE COURSE WAS ALREADY OVERBOOKED.They are either incompetent or they do not care!!!!!!!!!!!

Unorganized every time I go. Today I had a 12:53 tee time and finally got a cart at 1:30. I teed off at 1:35. Finished playing 6:42. Thats a 5 hour game of golf. They constantly book more golfers then they can handle. Cart girl passed us 3 times without ever stopping. It is never a great or good experience when I play here, but today it was terrible. If could give zero stars I would.

After reading all of these reviews i was skeptical to go golf here, especially for the price. You never know what a course is like until you try it. Everything was is great shape. It seemed all bunkers were fixed and its a nice clean fun course. Im not sure that this is a $65+ course but def a $40-45 course which is what i paid by booking on a secondary site for the weekend. Great layout, lots of water (doesnt really come into play on most holes. Greens were perfect! Keep all your shots as straight as possible or else you will end up in all the houses and apartments that are along the course. Will def be back to this course if the price is right.

Went to play on October 22. The course was in terrible shape. Took 6 hours to play a round of golf. No marshals to help no gps to give distances to hole Terrible spacing in between groups. To many 5 in group playing. Do not waste your time and money. Horrible golf course.
