WORST THEATRE EVER! It would be a good theater if it was 1984. Seats are very old and dingy. Definitely not a clean theater. No need to prepay for tickets, because you have to wait in line to redeem ticket anyway. Concessions; You pay regular price, but NO refills on the large items (due to Covid) but you get your own drink, and of course prices haven’t changed. Most reputable theaters have lowered their concession prices due to this. Unbelievable

Nice Theater. Its clean and has a lot of comfortable seats with the flip down arms. Every time Ive been there theres been plenty of seats left in the theater even on big name movies. Also they have an awful lot of employees that seem like they are just walking around and not actually doing anything. Everything is way overpriced but thats movies these days I guess.

I watched David Copperfield with my husband and sons on Sunday evening. Mask signs are posted. I get that. I purchased tickets with NO mask. The lobby was empty except for 3 people. At consessions, a little 20 something girl told me I had to put a mask on. I asked What if Im asthmatic?. She told only me, not the others in my party I HAD to put a mask on. Wont be back anytime soon.

Nice theater, good prices. They offer military, student, and Senior discounts. The facilities are nice, and it doesnt matter what size drink you get, its free refills with a Coca Cola Freestyle so you can get as much of anything you want.

Closed for covid-19. Im waiting to see when they open due to rumors of mask requirement of customers. If that is the case we will not be back. But before the covid-19 closure it was a great place to go.

Due to covid we had the entire theatre to ourselves for Guardian of the galaxy for $5.

It is in need of repairs.Staff is friendly and very helpful.With the only place in town... the management doesn’t seem to care to keep as clean as all the other AMC I’ve been in.I do watch more movies than the average person and belong to their AMC Stubs which is helpful when wanting anything from the concessions kiosk.Theater number 8 does not have the pre-show projector working for at least the last 6 months. Others theaters have sound issues. Many of the seats are no longer comfortable.The projectors are old and not bright enough. This is not great during the movie, but even more annoying during the previous when they leave the lights on.Hope they update this theater soon.

My favorite place to unwind and watch the newest released movies!

It was my first time at this movie theater. I was in town from Florida, visiting family. My husband took me to see Maleficent, so good. The area was very clean and nice. It wasnt overly fancy, but it was quite nice. They had easily accessed snacks and drinks. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms in the foyer were very clean. I was very impressed.

Good theater, and I have never not been able to get tickets. I saw the Mr. Rodgers movie the night it came out and there were seats, other theaters in the area were sold out. Not sure how it would be for Avengers or Star Wars. It has stadium seating (for half of each theater, seats in front are more traditional theater seating) and a good snack bar selection.

I have always enjoyed highland 12 since it was highland 10. But this was the first the first time I wasnt satisfied with the service. There was no one at the ticket counter and they didnt have my order ready when I got there. Which is why I usually do my tickets an snacks online so I dont have to wait in line. So that is why I say 4 stars is all they get tonight.

Good movie experience even during this pandemic

Easy too get in. Love the front row railing to prop feet and comfy seating with movable arm rests and drink holders. Great selection of movies. Common to most theaters, though, I wish they wouldnt gouge prices on refreshments.

A good theater, comfortable seating although they are fairly narrow compared to other places. I am 6 and 215 so not small but not super large either. I am comfortable with the seating provided no one larger is sitting on either side and lowers the arm rests. They also like to play everything before the movie starts as if all patrons are hearing impaired. Generally they do lower the volume once the picture starts, but prior to that it can be intolerable. The lobby and theaters are clean as are the bathrooms and regardless of which theater you are seated in a restroom is close. You wont have to go from one wing to the other and miss 10 minutes of the film just to use the restroom. The one drawback to this place, and it is a BIG ONE, is the parking lot. The theater sits on the 2 lane road that runs from TN111 over to I-40/Cookeville(in front of Sams) and the parking lot only hass ONE(1) entrance/exit with basically a single lane for each. During peak hours of the theater and/or the road getting in/out is near impossible. So if youll be going during a peak time plan for traffic accordingly.

Nice employees in general. Always clean and the lines aren’t too long typically. The only downside is that if you have the atom app and order to get ahead of the line, the employees will often ignore you until the regular line is gone so it’s almost pointless to order ahead for food and drinks. But the theaters and bathrooms are clean and the theaters are good quality.

The theater in and out was dirty including the bathrooms popcorn all over the floor, they had garbage cans in the isle way in the theater. It needs cleaning very badly. SOMEONE needs to vacuum the place out. The seats are not that great either,maybe nice 15, 20 years ago. The movie was good. They need to get cleaning.

Nice theater, beyond overpriced. The ticket price is fine, great even. But 6 dollars for a small drink? I feel like this is why people dont go out to the movies as much anymore.

Always super clean. Nice large parking lot. Usually not crowded during the week. Completely packed on the weekends. Everyone I know is here on Friday nights! Excellent surround sound and comfortable seats. Restrooms are pristine. Snacks are always overpriced, but it’s the same at every movie theater.

Prices on drinks and popcorn are super high!!! They offer military and student discounts. Pretty good movie theater.

The theatre has its moments... I wish they would have other independent movies or at least showcase all the academy award winners. I was very disappointed to see that the movie Parasite wasnt playing. I pay for the A-list membership and I would like a wider variety of movies being shown.

Popcorn and drink prices are outrageous as usual to any theater, but their large popcorn is about the size of a normal medium at best. Their drink machines are complete garbage. They never have ice. If you can get the drink machines to work then they will mix drinks. Terrible theater Id rather drive to Lebanon than to ever return to this dump.

Went to see a movie with the family. No one ever mentioned anything about a loyalty program they offer. The girl at the front desk/ticket booth never offered any of us the chance to save at all. Poor training I can only guess. I was disappointed to learn that they Do Have a loyalty program & want to know more.

My over all experience was diminished by the attendants at the front where we purchase our movie tickets. I really enjoy going to the movies but every visit to this location makes me wish another was within equal driving distance. Upon arrival we were directed to the other line to buy our tickets without a reason why. This nearly made us late for our movie. The people in front of us were trying to buy tickets for rated R movie and a teenage girl didnt have her ID with her. Cone to find out they had cut in line in front of us. All the while having to listen to a woman behind me complaining about how they were dealing with the same issues. I drive a hour out to Cookeville for what I thought was going to be a great movie experience only to find I should have just stayed in my home town and dealt with their less then sub per service. On second thought Im giving 1 ☆, AMC Highland 12 I expected more.

While the only theater in town, AMC offers Stubs A-List for frequent movie goers and that deal cant be beat. Concessions are priced like a typical theater but there are sometimes really decent deals available with the app. The theater itself could use some upgrades but the staff are friendly and hard-working.

Excellent popcorn and drink options. But all 4 times Ive gone here, the theater screens are very dark and the sound isnt great. Im no audiophile but you can tell theyre lacking.

I took my daughter and her friends to see Frozen 2. Every employee was welcoming and hospitable. It was clean and refreshing, and the popcorn was quite tasty.

Love this movie theater! Seats comfortable, always clean. Workers are so polite and are a jazzed about every movie that shows.

My husband & I went to see 1917 awesome! Clean theater. Our teen grandchildren and a friend went to see the Turning. They said it was the worse movie ever.

Tuesday is probably the best time to go. Less people and less money. Cleaning crew gave us dirty looks as we left as if we were opposing on them in some sort of way. They should be happy we spent our hard earned money and went to the movies

Went to see Birds of Prey the ticket prices were high drink n popcorn prices were ridicules for free refills. when I went to get a refill of popcorn they wouldnt refill it so I paid for refills they refused to do it when I called to complain about it they blue me off and dident cair that my experience in there movie theater was in in enjoyable si I will take the trip to Crossville T.N. and go to Rocky top ten where they treat every customer with respect

Matinee prices very reasonable. Ticket line was long and slow because of dedicated membership registers. Admission for 3 was just over $20. Two large drinks and one large popcorn w/extra butter was just over$20. Theater seating is comfortable. Theater size is Spacey and accommodating.

The Theater was very dirty carpets littered with popcorn and railings needed cleaning and painting. Hated to sit in the chairs, THIS day and age it needs CLEANING BAD.My husband used THE bathroom said it was filthy to.It was dirty to.it

I really enjoyed the movie Overcome....it was wonderful and the theater was nice and clean and we used the 2 seats in back of the first section and that way I didnt have to climb steps as I have to use a cane... Thank you for offering such inspiring movies...the price was reasonable also....Ann Vest...

Its the only movie theater that is close to me, and they always have a great variety of movies. If youre looking for something to do, then this is a great place stop.

Nice theater with a good sound system and comfortable seats. A little pricey for us. 2 senior matinee tickets with a 1 yr bucket for popcorn came to over $23. With the bucket, refills are $4.95.

Great selection of movies. Always have a nice staff would recommend more staffing on busier days because the lines get a little too long. Popcorn is always fresh! Place is always clean.

Theater is nice enough, I enjoy watching movies there. BUT, the snacks are WAY overpriced and the service is horrific. The snack employees need to be taught to act with purpose, they more or less mill around like a cast member of TWD; teach them to serve their customers! And the Supervisors, they spend an exorbitant amount of time licking the lipstick from their teeth and pulling their sweater up around them. Bad service rolls down hill.

Great Prices If You Have Stubs List!

Seems decent enough, fairly clean when we were there. Check-in was a bit confusing when we paid online. Too much stuff before the movie... Posted time was 4:45 and the actual movie started at 5:08.

Little pricey but comfy seats. The lobby was messy and barely any ice in the drink machine. Disappointed in the annoyed worker at the food counter. She seemed frustrated when I asked for details about combos. Maybe she should talk to the front ticket cashier. Nice, friendly, and cheerful.

I’m sorry to say but for a 10 1/2 year vet working in the movie theater business as a osha manager, I don’t know how it can pass inspection. This place needs new carpet, new paint job from top to bottom. 9 people at the register and only 3 registers open! someone help please. By the soda machines is like stepping on gum all on the floor. I love going to the movies but no one greeted anyone, I really didn’t feel it. I don’t know where is the customer service they teach us when you get hired in. But the seats are great. I will still be coming here because it’s the only theatre close by my home. It’s in someone’s best interest to help this place out from the visual part to all staff involved.

This is seriously the worst AMC I have ever been to The service is terrible. The management is terrible. They don’t care about customers at all. I gave this theater a good chance but EVERY single time I’ve been here I’ve had a problem. One time I even had to tell them to start the movie after waiting half an hour past showtime with a black screen. I’m an AMC a-lister but now I gladly drive farther to another AMC to avoid this awful theater.

Went there last night and the entire movie theater had a horrific smell to it. We noticed it the moment we walked in the doors. Management may want to consider hiring a crew to clean the carpet, chairs and deep clean.

Took grandkids to see Abominable. Movie good, theater disappointing. Some issues...the previews had no sound and the theater lights didnt go down at all during the previews and not until several minutes into the main feature.

Nice clean theater. Snacks are WAY overpriced. If you have a six kids like we do, even a matinee is a small vacation.

As a stubs and A list member, really would like their line for this perk to be opin. Mens bathroom always is out of order or something no working. Ready for recliner seats and assigned seats, this theater isnt full, so the reduction in seats with improved seating would be a plus. The food selection and quality are good and comparable to other AMC locations.

Standard movie theater. Nothing stands out either good or bad. Standard but comfortable seats. Screen and sound quality good but suffers from significant bleed through from neighboring theatres.

I am happy we have such a nice theater, and I dont mind paying what they ask for the movie. But..... The prices on the Food and Drinks are crazy!!! There is no reason, it cost more to get a large Popcorn and large drink than to eat a Steak at Logans. Dont get me started on the candy!!!!

Excellent theater, comfortable seats. Inexpensive matinees and no nauseating smell like in the Crossville theater.

It almost feels like this theater is keenly aware they are the only game in town, so you do not get decent service at all. One time I had to wait over ten minutes for someone to sell me a ticket. Literally no one at the ticket stands and no automated ticket machines, so I had to just stand there. Another time, in the middle of the movie someone flipped on the light in the projection room shining light on half the theater. Its also typical for the show to start a minute or two late, which is unacceptable in the era of digital projection. They also rarely carry special event screenings which is a bummer, but more understandable considering the area.

I love this place. Its a bit pricey, but its worth it. The seats are roomy and have their own cup holders. The rows are wide enough to get out without people having to stand up in case you need to go to the restroom or to get a refill on your drink or popcorn...there are small purple lights to guide your steps too...

Its a great place to see movies. Its got some problems particularly sometimes they have screen problems just because of the way films are made now they dont fit the screen as well as they used to that might be the movies I might be the people but thats the excuse they told me. Love it though its our hometown theater.

Beginning to smell a little musty. I dislike musty cinemas. I guess is hard to notice those things unless musty cinemas are one of your pet peeves.

The last two times I have went there have been some of the worse experiences I have ever had, anywhere! The time before last, after we had ordered and paid for our meal, they informed us the grill wasnt working, then we decided to have chicken tenders. After waiting for 20 minutes and missing some of the previews they tell us they dont have enough oil to make the tenders!!! We were just done by then and got popcorn and nachos and went on our way. They refunded the money for the hot food but no apologies from them or the management and nothing to make up for it... And today I missed most of the previews because they were having issues with the visuals. Please either figure it out or get new staff!

The movie theater is great. We hadnt been to see a movie in many years so today was a treat. We were so surprised to learn that a small soda and popcorn was $10 per person. We passed on the snacks. While waiting for the movie to start, we were forced to watch 20 minutes of commercials. Its bad enough we have to endure commercials on tv, but now on YouTube, Instagram, and even Pandora radio we have to see and listen to commercials. Commercials do not make me buy products. We mute the tv so Id like for those companies to know theyre wasting money and we probably wont go to another movie for another 8 more years.

Its a nice theater, still well kept, but definitely a small town cinema. No updated seating here yet, but its clean and wasnt too busy.

First time Ive ever been there and I loved how it was the place was neat clean orderly I love the fact that I could buy my ticket online and my food and have it prepped and ready when I got there all I had to do was show them the QR code I got in my email and they scanned in why was good to go

I went to see the 8 p.m. showing of The Avengers and the theater was suffocating hot all the way through the movie I could not hardly breathe and was about to have an asthma attack from it. And it was so bad that I started getting a migraine and started getting sick to my stomach all the way through the movie. Now if theyre going to charge that price for tickets then they should at least have air conditioning. No air conditioning for 3 hours is ridiculous,there were children in there as well.. After the movie was over I left the theater I went straight to the emergency room to get something for the headache and the nausea from being too hot. Very displeased.

The theater is nice but every since it has become AMC the popcorn sucks. Thats one of the main reasons I like going to the movies its for the good popcorn. I can watch good movies at home and eat better popcorn with my Orville Redenbacher. They need to buy quality popcorn. The first I got was old took it back and got fresh popped and still wasnt that great. This is the fourth time Ive been there and disappointed in the popcorn.

The movie Avengers End Game was excellent even though Im not a fan, I took my son to see it. If youre a parent, you totally understand. However, as a Premiere Stubs member, I was not impressed with the service we received at their Consessions counter. Never, have I paid full price on snacks on a Tuesday. Our tickets were discounted rate of $5 plus tax (each), however after paying full price for popcorn and drinks I will no longer visit the Cookeville location. In fact Ill drive the 45 minute drive to Lebanon, or the hour drive to Nashville, just to receive better service. The young girls that took our order was more concerned with her friends, than taking our order, and we waited in line with everyone else.I mean whats the point in upgrading to the Premiere Stubs membership if Im going to receive the same treatment and pricing everyone else pays.

Comforatable and all around great atmosphere

I saw Avengers: End Game Sunday April 28 at 17:25 - theater 10. One, the sign was broken. Two, there was no air/cooling so i could not hold my girlfriends hand as me and the 4 other people i was with literally sweating the entire time. Three, I could barely hear the movie - only because the audience was invested in the film and was quiet - it sounded like a normal tv with the sound coming from only the screen. I dont live hear and was just passing by to watch movie with my siblings who do, so i hope this is not normal. Only gets 2 stars because it was really affordable.

All of my experiences have been good here except for the last one. As usual me and my friends buy our tickets on atom just for convenience. They I leave my home assuming they accept Google pay and I didnt bring my wallet. They dont accept and pay unless its cash or card.

Great concessions area lot of movie rooms. Space is a little tight and seats a lil uncomfortable. Overall great place.

Stimulus Tuesdays are awesome! I can bring my family of 4 to the matinee for like $20, which makes family night much more affordable!

Brightburn was a must see for all DC comics fans. I didnt realize what characters from my childhood readings it was about until the last scene. Before you watch another DC superhero inspired movie, watch Brightburn because you dont know where this story is leading?

Theatre is great!! People are very nice and the seats are comfy theyve got plenty of snacks but also solid foods like pizza and nachos. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner but I cant complain.
