I have been there three years in a row with a group from work that made Christmas ornaments. Loved the experience each time and treasure the ornaments we have made! Highly recommend!
I gave a 1 star, really wanted to give no stars. I bought a glass table top 7 months ago, while we were eating dinner the glass just cracked across the entire table. The only things on the table were plates and silverware. It should have not cracked like that. Not sure why this happen, Im glad my grandchildren were not sitting at the table. Glass that goes on a table should be tempered so it doesnt break.
Ed & Barb are a lovely couple who specialize in glass blowing! They also install glass enclosures, doors for your home or business. Their real passion is glass blowing! They have even created ornaments for the White House! They have glasses and education events.....live demonstrations....takes about an hour of your time. Demonstrations are free and very informative.....nice to see a couple in love and in love with their craft as well! Take the time to visit with them - perhaps some shopping at their place is in order as well!
Fabulous! Very informative and exciting!
Conway Glass is a fabulous experience. If you get the opportunity to take a class dont miss out. I made an ornament & a bowl. The knowledge that they give to their students is invaluable. Oh, what fun our group had. Will go back & take another class soon.
So glad we stumbled upon Conway Glass [while visiting the Myrtle Beach area], especially on the one day a month when Ed and Barbara were doing a free glass blowing demo. It was mesmerizing to watch these amazing artisans as they transformed molten glass into a thing of beauty before our eyes.Besides his artistry, Ed was very entertaining and informative as he explained what they were doing and responded to guests questions. Cant wait to come back to SC with the kids and try some of the hands-on classes!!!
Ed is an excellent instuctor. Very patient with kids. I highly recommend going to see them!
Jenna and I had a GREAT time making paperweights! Learned a lot and anxious for our work to be sitting on our desks....this is a MUST DO when you visit Myrtle Beach!
Attended the ornament class. Ed was a wonderful teacher and my friend and I had 1:1 instruction. Very blessed to have this artistic opportunity in our area. Many classes listed - check them out!
Excellent results and quality. Friendly people. We had glass furniture tops made and they were done to the sizes requested and look great. Highly recommend!
Cool place, went around Christmas and got to make an ornament! Lots of fun!
Amazing people, awesome for privet parties! And a great experience!
Fantastic customer services. Great experience.
I took a private class on a Saturday, it was a gift from my wife, whom I would have sworn paid way too much. But Ed really walked me through the process, and for 2.5 hours he taught me to really blow glass, work with it, add colors. He showed me how to work with the tools, and made sure I was safe the whole time. Ed is a great guy with a love of glass, and in between projects he answered all my questions, showed me his work. This is a real artists shop, and Ed and Barabra are artists. Great ones. I started with a clear tumbler. Then a beautiful vase, then a paper weight, then he gave me my choice and we made a bowl (a big one). Sooo worth taking a solo class. After the class we sat a few minutes and got to know Ed and Barb and theyre just awesome people, who take time out of running a business to share their love of glass. Thanks. If youre considering doing a class, strongly suggest the one on one.
Great visit during the Ag+Art Tour.
