Kids went skating again. Saw a group enjoying yoga. People jogging and walking enjoying the concrete trail throughout the park.

Very mediocre Park. Very disappointed with the homeless that are here. Brought my daughter here and was not okay with multiple people asking if I had any extra change. They pretty much where intimidating her because she did not feel comfortable and we ended up leaving in less than 10 minutes because of the excessive trash and bums that were hanging around all the common areas just staring at everybody.

Beautiful scenery you can fish if you have a license and picnic nearby.

Love this park cuz its clean Big spaces my boxer loves it to run around but Wish Yall has a Big Doggy Park For BIG DOGS we love to eat out there too.Thanks to all the workers that keep the park clean GREAT JOB YALL

Ladies Bathroom was sub par. Lights did not go on. Water all over floor.

Its a nice park and the city keeps it pretty clean. The tracks are also pretty cool for late or early walks or runs. Dog friendly as long as they are kept on their leach.

Nice large area & covered pavilion for picnics. The restrooms & playground are not up to date & rate about a 2 star. The new park with lake access is very nice to make my overall rating a 3

Very large park with play equipment thats brand new, from the early 2000s, 90s, and the 80s. Stuff for every generation to enjoy. They also have workout equipment and a large field if you just want to toss a Frisbee or play catch with the kids. Small parking lot off main road, have yet to park at the other entrance though i know it exists. Several baseball fields that are well maintained. My only issue is that kids will leave trash all over the playground when there is a trashcan just a few feet away. This area does flood during rains, but otherwise everything is very nice here. great for birthdays or just a day out and away from the video games and house.

Plenty of parking. The park was clean but most parking is far away from the playground areas. Plenty of tables and benches to eat on but the ones out in the open are mostly situated away from the parking area.Youd have to practically carry everything in your hand to avoid making several trips to your vehicle. There is some benches and tables in a covered area next to parking though.

We love this city so much! Getting into all of the areas of the park using Google maps is like finding your way into an enchanted forest, though. Lol (for someone whos bad at directions like me) You may get into the baseball field, and you may get into the swimming pool area, but how youll ever get to the actual kids park, i dont know. LolIn fact, as yet another testimony to the constant kindness of the people here, we ran out of water trekking across the park to get to the playground the kids wanted this summer (yes, the park is that big and wonderful), and another parent offered us water (we have not had much success with any of the water fountains working). But we just park and walk. Its good for you! i hope Google updates its map one day for the cute park on the end.But in the meantime, there are several play areas spread out across the fields, so thats a cool idea. It gets the kids running from one to the other. They have a large pavilion for get togethers where families go and take music and have cook outs.They also have a paved walking area through the woods thats very magical and almost surreal in its beauty. (I would always recommend anyone to walk or jog areas with a friend due to responsible caution, although my city is very safe, and Ive seen police even checking on us at the park to make sure everyone is ok.)They have a swimming area during the summer thats very affordable and can be rented out for parties.Also, my kids favorite part was the bridge thats maybe for decorative purposes. Theres a regular bridge that is more practical for smooth soled shoes or when wet, as the ascension and descending areas on the wooden one are sloped and could allow a person or a child to slip on accident. Sure footed children may delight in the pretty structure though as my kids did. They loved that it rose and then went down. Maybe the park could add some texturing to the sloped parts later... idk. But its very nice. I attached a picture of it also.

This park should be the gem of Converse. It is not. The restrooms are 3rd world. Litter is all over, some of it right next to a trash can. Who does that? Finally, while I support the citys decision to put the US flag at half staff to honor a fire department captain who died of COVID 19, they should do it properly. No flag should fly higher than the Stars and Stripes. Either the Texas flag should be lowered as well, or not flown at all.

Easy place to get to. Was not busy. Fun for children.

Great park for the family to enjoy the day outdoors. There is not a whole bunch of shade. Take a football, baseball, or just something to toss around with the kids. You have enough space to fly drones if u do RC. :)

Many updates are happening here! Itll be great when everything is connected with trails! The new workout area is great and the park is great for kids. The only complaint I have is about the pavilion. The bathrooms at the pavilion are not taken care of and the last time we used them they were atrocious! Also, there was a party going on at the pavilion that was playing some pretty inappropriate music and people were dancing on the tables at 11am. I normally dont care, but the playground is literally next to it, which is great for birthdays, for kids!! However, Converse police responds very quickly! Another bonus!

Great Park! I have spent so many hours here with family, friends and kids. Awesome place for picnics walking and general fun!

Bike/walking trails, play ground basketball court, football court, and a pond for kayaking and fishing. This is a fun place with plenty of room for your active lifestyle. I go here mostly for the walking path or to play basketball. The court is marked and fairly well kept. No lights however.

Getting real tired of groups of people demanding I be the one to reserve the park for a birthday party but they arent going to reserve it for their very loud and intrusive party. Everytime theres a large group of people they take over all the tables even when they are occupied and get in the way. The bathrooms are always disgusting and remind me of what I would see in a prison.

Great park for family! Its got 2 play grounds, a swing set, football field, baseball diamond, swimming pool, covered eating/gathering area, walking trail, and several open grills. The only thing missing is a basketball court.

Love this place, theres a lot of new changes happening and great for families. And more is to come.. Highly recommend

Love this park there is always an open picnic table and ample room for everyone to spread out. We played a family game of tag and had a blast.

I live within a few blocks and I must say I enjoy having a park so close to us.The city keeps the park clean and have recently been making improvements in the form of bench/bbq areas and playground equipment. We love to walk our dogs there and they seem to like it too. Everyone weve come across is friendly and approachable.Our only beef is that while Converse has installed pet stations (for waste), they never have any bags in them. Its a small thing and we come prepared, but why install them and let them rust?

Love this quiet out of the way.place.

My grandson and I visited on a cool evening for quality talk time. The small part of the larger park is well maintained and a great place to just relax. The walking trail is paved and great for a nice stroll around the park. Until the weather changes, take a nice novel or the kids and enjoy Converse City Park. Itll be good for the soul and mind.

Love the walking path, I really wish theyd make a splash pad here like the UC park has, but they did add a exercise area, it doesnt have alot of appeal to us but some might enjoy it very well.

This is a great park. Has a walking path, swings, a bridge that goes over the creek. Seperate playgrounds which is nice if youre trying to keep to yourself. Clean, quiet, peaceful I will definitely visit this park again.

Night in old converse was great

Park is nice, but the restrooms are nasty. All the womens toilets were in horrible condition.

Great place to go. There is playground and a walking running biking trail. There is also a swimming pool. There are 2 diving boards there as well. It cost 2 dollars per person to get in. Also a causation stand there that sales ice cream candy hot dogs and hamburgers. Very cost effective prices bc all items are under 2$ unless you get a meal. Both the hamburger and hotdog meal are under 5$. I will definitely be coming back. Very family friendly.
