I love it when townships turn their abandoned malls into performance spaces.

This is a different experience. Sort of a cross between a small stage startup and open Mic. I mean this in the best possible way. It is an intimate setting. In that there are a few rows, so everyone is close to the stage. They use lights, screens, and a few props to set the scenes. The acting is very good, as is the timing. Everything moves along smoothly. This is a very casual setting. Maybe to casual. There is a bit of bantering between staff that make it seem as though they are still working at the process. Yet Hatbox has been here for a while. Well worth the price of the show, family friendly, snacks VERY reasonable price, and every seat is a great seat.

Good, varied entertainment by people who care and love their craft (usually local).

I went to a comedy show there last night- everything has changed due to COVID but they did a good job keep everyone distant and creating laughter again during these times.

Seeing a Hatbox show is like watching New York black box theatre, but without the weird odors and that one loud drunk guy who wandered in from the subway. Highly recommended for creative, intimate theatre.

Sorry it took me so long to try one of their plays. Great evening. We will be back soon and often. Very reasonable price, so if you dont care for the play little is lost.

I attended the Goblin Market production this past Friday, and was thrilled about the experience. Not only is the theater very accessible, easy parking, has great programming, live music, and an intimate environment, its also repurposing an otherwise empty space in a mall - brilliant!

This is a great space for productions. Mall has free parking which is nice.

Love the Hatbox! These are local productions with local talent. Its a small, intimate venue so you really get the live theatre experience up close.

A delightful theatre filled with talent and an intimate, artistic atmosphere. They make very good use of the space they have and attract an exeptional amount of talented performers from the NH area.

Super space, wonderful theater, great shows. I love this place and highly recommend it. Skip the movie theater and buy a ticket at the Hatbox for a fun, entertaining evening.

Great little 100-seat theater with a focus on new works and debuts. Have been for author in- progress readings (with Q&A) and for Invasion from Mars - both were worth the price of admission for sure. Refreshments (including tea & coffee) for sale onsite.

What a great little theatre! And such a wide selection of entertainment offered. Come out and enjoy real live theater & Performance Art. I really love Tales Told. Every community needs a place where the folk can share their tales. Next time you come by the old mall check in.

Cozy comfortable atmosphere, good shows

Recently saw a production of MacBeth. I was overwhelmingly impressed with not only the show itself but the professionalism of the staff and the theatre itself is a very intimate setting almost as if being apart of the play.
