10-29-20 About 1:30 pm. The lady that was checking us out to get our drivers license back was so rude. While we were waiting outside in line, I couldn’t hear what she was saying because it was loud outside. When I got inside she was really mad for no reason. I was so shocked by the way she treated us. I am never coming back here again!

Windy day but not many people. I like it when first hit the clay target.

Been years since I’ve been to the range. Had a good experience here. The facilities are nice and the rangemasters are helpful and professional. Will definitely be returning.

I went shooting at the new range Saturday. I really like the new setup. Cant wait for the rifle range to open.The new Target system is great. You can move your target closer or father at your leisure.I really like the cease fire clocks that count down to cease fire, and the lights that tell you when its safe. Its very intuituve and safe. The canopy is awesome and will keep sun and rain out. Its really nice and Im so happy they are open again.I will be back this weekend.

The new pistol range is clean and was amazing to shoot out of. The staff that sign you in are extremely helpful and very friendly. The staff out on the range are very helpful as well and are very safe. Great range and I am very happy to be a member.

Not fair for me to give a review about USI because I work for them...

Me and one of my girlfriends decided he’s going to show some rounds. Wanted to call and ask about the pricing for before you made the trip over. We decided not to go to the local course that we have near our house in Oakland because they had bad service there. When the lady answered the phone and we acquired about the pricing, she laughed at the sound of my voice. She then asked if I was a juvenile or if I was a young teenager. I said no I am an adult. She laughed and then said I sounded like a young he laughed and then said I sounded like a kid. I was very offended and hung up. I can not believe this I won’t even bother going there. Lost some long time goers.

I literally live next door. I can smell it. My husband is comfortable with arms, he is a navy man. Ive shot guns before but Ive just recently (in the past few years) gotten into range shooting. Ive never been to other ranges so I cant compare but this place is great for me. Ive had lots of tips from other member and staff and that has really boosted my confidence.

I am relatively new to shooting, and Im 69 years young! ;)These gentlemen are very helpful and instructive. They also help me to problem solve and increase my skill level very quickly. Im delighted that they are there! :)

Awesome place to shoot! Love bringing my shotty down there and playing a couple of rounds of trap. The people there are welcoming too. 5/5!update: this is seriously one of the best, if not the best, range in the east bay.

Ive been shooting at United Sportsmans since I was a kid and have always had nothing but good experiences their! The range masters are all good people and are very helpful when needed. I got to fire my first 50cal and my first Thompson there and have tons of great memories from there!

We called about an appointment, and when we were trying to spell out my name to her and she couldn’t understand and so she laughed, sighed, and said “ok this is enough” and hung up on me. Never going to spend hard earned money on such a disrespectful place.

Beautiful area and excellent ranges for all skill levels and ages. This is also a great value. For one price, you can shoot all day. I will definitely be back every chance I get.

MY FAVORITE RANGE IN THE AREA!!In a nice secluded area, butright off the freeway exit, about a 2-3 min drive from exit. Has pistol target range, rifle target range, and trap shot, not sure if I missed anything. Also has nice staff, first started going here with my father when I was in about 2nd or 3rd grade (so it is kinda special to me and brings back good memories) and Im now 31, so its been a while. Definitely would recommend over Martinez shotgun range or other indoor ranges

The ranges at USI make up an awesome shooting sports grounds. This place is much more than just a public shooting range. Please become a member of one of the gun clubs to fully take advantage of what USI has to offer.

I really like this place!Probably the best shooting range on the Bay Are!

I made my first visit here last week. I think this is the closest range for those of us in East or Central County. I have no problems with the personnel or the range. If you are a club member the price is much less than the public price and the price allows you to stay all day. How can one complain about this? If you are standing to the right and near to another shooter on the pistol range who has a semi-auto, you will be pelted with spent brass so be forewarned and pick your spot carefully. The rules are for your safety and mine. I care about mine regardless of whether you care about yours. Once you have the safety briefing you get a purple card that indicates that you attended and this is required before you enter the range.

Dont judge this amazing shooting facility based solely on hearsay and reviews. It is conveniently located, many covered and uncovered shooting stations,multiple shooting options I.e. target,skeet,trap,air guns. The best part I believe is getting our there and shooting. The staff and other avid shooters are respectful and helpful. I have met a lot of really nice and knowledgeable people there as well so make sure to be curtious to your neighbor.

This club is great and has many friendly and interesting people as members and as employees.

Im 36 Ive been going to this rain since I was 21. It is my favorite range to go to the people a great, and I have a ball every time I go I have met some great shooters there and I look forward to going again.

It had been a few years since Id been to the USI range, but its still the same place its always been, and thats mostly a good thing.This is a good-sized outdoor range, with plenty of covered stations for both pistol and rifle. For the rifle range, target stands are available at 50 and 100 yards, and for pistol, at 15 and 25 yards. Sadly, no closer ranges are available, and for newbies, 15 yards is probably a bit too far for practical purposes, but its not a huge issue.Many people have a problem with the strict range controls, the restriction on shooting only paper targets, and not being allowed to rapid-fire, but this is a large, formal range with people of many different skill levels, so these restrictions are perfectly reasonable given the safety issues involved. Just know if youre coming to practice double-taps, you might want to look elsewhere.I took a group of people out and spent the whole afternoon shooting, and everyone had a great time. Im looking forward to our next trip.
