Giving a 1 because thats the lowest I can. We attended a wrestling event there today, and the building had to be evacuated by the Fire Marshall because they were WAY above their occupancy. No seating, I have a broken leg and Im in a boot, I had to stand for the majority of our 10 hour day. The middle school tournament had to be totally delayed until the end of the elementary school tournament and wrestlers, their friends and families had to stand outside in the SNOW flurries waiting for reentry. Not enough bathrooms, even with the 4 port-a-potties they brought in. People stood in line for over an hour at the 1 concession stand they had. This was a NCHSAA, North Carolina USA Wrestling, and Team NC sponsored event.. very disappointing, frustrating and dangerous.

Great place to get your basketball and volleyball skills up.

The wrestling tournament was way too big for the facility. Fire marshall made us evacuate. Poor planning.

This place is very good for large groups sports events.

It was very well organized with so many teams playing full court at once. There was ample seating with their mini bleachers. I was pleased to find the snack bar nicely stocked with various drinks and snacks. There was an Italian ice stand too.

Parking is terrible. Seating terrible. Food terrible.

I dont think you should have to pay so much to get into this. What are you paying for. Where does the money go

A really nice facility clean a great place to watch Basketball games.

I loved this facility. It was clean and very well taken care of. When money can be put toward the children in such a way it is amazing to see. The staff that was there the days we visited worked hard to keep things tidy and sanitized.

The place is nice but when you go there just to watch your granddaughters game for about 45 mins they charged you 16 dollar so if my wife went with me it would cost a fortune ( 32 dollars ) it seem to me they are sucking the kids and the parents dry.

Nice, clean facility. Had no idea it was in Concord. Great place to help my daughter prepare for school tryouts. Ill be back for pick up runs too.

The biggest issues here were parking & cost of entry. We had to park a cpl blocks away for our AAU tournament. The cost was $15 for anyone 7yrs or older which was ridiculous considering the seating & how humid the gym was initially. The concessions were also OVERPRICED. The staff was friendly, bathrooms clean, and experience was a good one. Besides parking & cost, the only other issue was the referees. Im unsure whether the courts have anything to do with it but; the referees seemed to need refresher courses as they were TERRIBLE!

Horrible crowd. Over capacity

Paying $20 per person to watch our childrens basketball games you would expect a safe and comfortable environment for players. Due to overbooking of teams for their facility we were sent to Barber Scotia College. There was no AC and the temperature in the gym was over 84 degrees! There was constant moisture on those floors putting the players at risk of injury. Games were then moved back to the main gym but that meant an already small court was split into two smaller courts. Players had to navigate around bleachers inches from the court. I witnessed two players hit head first into the metal bleachers. There was no area for the teams to stretch and change.

Great experience. Navigating there on Google will take you in circles though lol. Call there to get instructions from Spring St.

Our 16 year old grandson was playing in the AAU Basketball tournament on Saturday 4/6. Admission was $13 per adult. There were numerous games being played throughout the facility but limited seating. We stood for his first game. The aluminium bleachers are relatively short (approximately10 ft)and have 3 rows of seats. All games were in close proximity. There was little to no barriers between matches. During each game, referee whistles, spectators cheering, coaches instructions, etc. could be heard from the numerous concurrent games. Considering the noisy atmosphere, I thought the admission price could have reflected the facility conditions more accurately. Im just saying

Things have changed. Ts been several years since we last attended. Ower AAU team would often train & play here. To my amazement they no longer offer weekend passes. American Greed.

Its awesome place

An older-appearing, but good sized sports facility. There is a help desk, and we found plenty of signs pointing us in the right direction to our assigned area. The gym itself was fairly large, and despite the very uncomfortable, metal gymnasium-style bleacher seating, there was a clear view of every apparatus, making shooting photos and videos pretty easy. The parking lot is small, but there were plenty of lots around. However, be aware, its not much fun navigating down and particularly back UP the steep cement steps after finding the only two handicapped parking spots in the facility lot were already full.

Not fun there was a group of 8 people that wouldnt let go of their 2 courts. Many of us couldnt get on those courts or even at either them. Pickleball snobs. We paid our money too

Nice setup. Took off 2 stars due to the ridiculous placement of handicapped parking. Only 2 spots at far left side of front doors. The rest were around the corner, on the side of the building, on an incline!

Its got great new facilities and friendly people but lock your car up and watch your stuff because its in a rough part of town. We had to park away from the building and down the street. Not too bad but was a little creepy going back after dark passing vagrants and thugs. I heard a few peoples cell phones/ipads got stolen from inside. Overall I think there are better places.
