My boyfriend and I go to chase to get our tattoos done and he’s hands down the best! Such a light hand and very clean. I was nervous to get my industrial done but Mandie convinced me!! And I’m so happy I did it, she was very informative and helped me through the process. 10/10 recommend

The best place Ive found in town!!! The workers are respectful and are willing to work with you to get your tattoo done however you ask for it. They give their honest opinion and will still give you what you ask for even if its not the particular artists preference, Which is great because it helps you get the tattoo as close to what you want as you can get.The owner Marcus is an awesome guy, makes you feel welcome.I met Chase and saw his work and Ive been going to him since! I like his style and shading work. He puts quality before speed. They have some really good artists here. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting a tattoo.

This is the best place to get your piercings! Mandie is such a great piercer, and person to work with. I’ve had a few piercings done by her now, as well as recommended and gone with many friends. I’ve never met anyone unhappy with a piercing done here. She is very to the point and keeps it real with you, but In the best way! 11/10 recommend this place. The pricing is absolutely fair with the service and overall experience you receive. I will continue to come here and tell everyone else to as well ️

I found this place just by looking through google maps and liked the pictures that I saw. My tattoo artist was Tayler, she did an amazing job on this tattoo for me. I would definitely like her to do my tattoos in the future. I also got a couple piercings done by Mandie who is super cool and made me feel comfortable. Walked in just to check out the place and see pricing as well as to possibly make an appointment and was so happy with the experience I decided to get it done right then and there seeing as they had time for me! Mandie did my piercing wonderfully, she was so fun to be around and made me feel very comfortable!! There was another woman there who was excited for me I’m just not sure what her name is. They have very reasonable prices and my belly button piercing is healing beautifully! I would totally check this place out if I were you. :)

I was pierced by Mandie earlier today and she was absolutely AMAZING! She talked me through every single step, made sure I was completely comfortable before doing anything and was as professional as could be but hilarious at the same time, she also gave me clear instructions for piercing care and told me I could call/text her if I had any questions or issues at all. Anyone wanting any type of piercing should definitely go see her, you will not regret it.

Mandy is awesome! She is the best piercer. My daughter and I had a nose piercing done before by another location and it never healed, just got infected.Well, my daughter tried again with the same problem. I gave up! I called Elysium and spoke to Mandy. She told me we had an allergic reaction to the metal the other business used for our piercings. She uses the best grade titanium and low and behold my daughter and I now have a permanent nose piercing. She also suggested the walgreens First Aid Antiseptic Spray to clean the piercing. It is amazing!!! It numbs the pain, cleans and prevents infection. I also loved the screw nose ring because it doesnt get caught on anything and stays. Thank you Mandy!!! Youre the best!!! This was my first tattoo and Marcus couldn’t have done any better. The shop is clean, his entire crew was awesome, and his work is on point!! He set up a tv so you can watch as your tattoo is being done (if it’s on your back like mine or anywhere your not able to see it in the process) and will make sure your 100% comfortable and happy during the entire process. Me and a few friends, along with my mom and brother all went to Mandie to get piercings. Most of which were nose and ear, we all had a good time and were as comfortable as you can be getting a piercing. Mandie was very patient and easy going, which helped a lot with my nerves. Thank you Mandy for being so patience and awesome with my daughter!!! My daughter wanted to get her ears pierced for her 8th birthday. Mandy took the time and explained what she would be doing and let her ask any questions/ concerns she may have. It was quick and not too painful according to my daughter lol! We made sure to follow the aftercare instructions given and also bought the suggested bactin spray. We had no infections and/or issues with her piercing. I went in for a nose piercing and Mandy did an awesome job. Not only did she make you feel comfortable but she also got the piercing done quickly. She was hilarious too. I will definitely being going back for more piercings.

I’m still happy with my design, but I noticed as it started to heal the line work on the some areas are off, some of the color is holding but there are several areas missing some color and after the peeling process has no color left in some spots. All after care instructions were followed. I have to wait 4 weeks and get it touched up on the missing color and the line work on several places. Where I went told me I was over charged for the tattoo that I shouldn’t of paid more than $150 for my piece. I paid $350 with a deposit.

This place was great. I will be returning soon for more ink. My wife got her first tattoo tonight and enjoyed the experience. We also got my daughters ears pierced. Brittany did an amazing job on our ink and Mandie was wonderful with piercing. The atmosphere was not intimidating like other shops. Ive been in so many tattoo shops where it felt like you had to fit in to be worthy of ink but at Elysium it was the exact opposite. I have already referred some family members and Im looking forward to the next piece.

She took so much time and put so much love into this piece for me because she loves what she does and she knew what it meant to me. Also we were there for several hours and got to know Mandie the lady who does the piercing there...... Shes great and has extensive knowledge about her profession. I highly recommend Crystal for a tattoo and why not have Mandie do a piercing while your there??!!!!! Have a tattoo scheduled for October with Crystal. I am beyond happy with my experience at Elysium Ink!! I have 2 other tattoos I got somewhere else when I was younger and am not in love with 1 of them, and the other has grammar errors!! I called yesterday spur off the moment to discuss a tattoo Ive wanted for almost 4 years! I wasnt expecting to be able to get in to talk to them much less get my tattoo done right then. Marcus called me back, we discussed my tattoo and he asked if I wanted to come then and get it!!This tattoo has had almost 4 years of planning a lot of tesrs, heartache, and pain leading to its cause/meaning, and a hard time finding an artist that felt right to do it. This tattoo is a memorial for my children that are no longer with me.Let me just say Marcus drew up a tattoo on my way there and it was what I wanted and more!! He took what was a blur of an idea in my head and put a masterpiece on paper!!Everyone was kind, and very welcoming that I had to have my 2 year old in towe! (She lived watching by the way!)The amount of kindness, cleanliness, professionalism, conversation, and dedication in this shop is amazing!!Sorry for the long post, but thank you Marcus for making a dream into a reality!! I live two hours from Concord, NC, and was going to be up there for a convention. I texted them a week before asking if they could create a unique tattoo for me. Marcus(the owner) responded to my text in a timely manner, and with confidence said he could definitely do what I wanted. He communicated with me all the way up to the day of my appointment.I must say, he exceeded my expectations with an absolutely gorgeous piece of artwork.My teenager also had an eyebrow piercing done by Mandie, who was exceptional, kind, and patient.They also shared their dinner with us to make sure we were not going to be on an empty stomach!!I will definitely be back for more tattoos, because Marcus at Elysium Ink is worth a two hour drive to me.

GO SEE MANDIE @ ELYSIUM INK!!!!Anyone that knows anything about tattoos, knows that the experience of getting a tattoo is just as important as the ink itself. The environment, the sound of the gun, the smell of the soap can be intoxicating. That experience is why I am so fond of tattoos. I feel like its hard to get that experience with a piercing.... That all changed today when Mandie pierced my septum today! I couldnt have asked for a better piercer! She was very knowledgeable with her craft, took time to explain the piercing to me and walked me right through the entire process. Her attitude was amazing! Very easy going, very fun to talk to, and just one amazing person in general! I have been to this shop multiple times in the past for tattoos but this was my first time for a piercing, but I guarantee it will not be my last! While getting tattooed I have seen Mandie work with others and if you have a piercing itch that needs to be scratched, let her scratch it!! Got my 5 1/2 month olds ears pierced here. The lady was so awesome, taking time to talk to my daughter and did a wonderful job on placement. She made me feel very comfortable when nursing my daughter openly. Definitely recommend and will go back!

I went and saw Mandie about 2 weeks ago and got an orbital conch piercing. She was super clean and informative about the whole process. I’m no stranger to piercings and gauges, so I knew what to expect and it got done effortlessly. Aftercare has gone well; I cleaned it 3 times a day with Bactine and no problems. I will definitely recommend this place for no fuss piercings.

I went in this afternoon to have a drawing I did made into a tattoo. Tayler did my tattoo and was amazing. Her ability and artistry in shading was second to none. The owner, Marcus, was friendly and very accommodating. The studio was clean, people friendly, and the artists were amazing. I will definitely be back here and I highly recommend this place to others.One month update: the tattoo looks amazing fully healed. Weirdly enough, I think it actually looks better fully healed. The small areas light white highlights makes it pop, almost like its areas of 3D when looked at from certain angles. Even family members who HATE tattoos have complimented me on the design and the amazing shading Tayler did.9/7/2020Got another awesome tattoo from Tayler. I will post a picture when its healed. I went in to get a tattoo with my mom and was super excited. Based on their google reviews, I decided to give this shop a chance. Marcus was the tattoo artist who was going to do our work. Initially, he was nice and seemed to know what he was doing. But upon looking at his work via Instagram (in which he gave me while there), I wasn’t impressed. The lines, writing, pretty much everything about his work was not something I wanted on my skin. My mom felt the same way. The last thing I wanted to do was offend, but I POLITELY explained to him that I didn’t want to go forward with getting our tattoos. At that point, he got very rude and super offended. Making a scene in his own shop, which I didn’t think he would want that kind of attention. As I was being quiet while trying to communicate with him. I think his ego was hurt and it wasn’t the only time someone had said that, considering an appointment just canceled on him. They probably saw what we saw. Being a makeup artist myself, I would never conduct business that way if someone didn’t like my work. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PROFESSIONALISM ! The reviews are misleading considering most reviews were based on the piercers. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else! You won’t regret it!
