Amazing location. Well lit so its great for night walks. Police are also near by as the police station is a street over
This fountain is located in downtown Columbus and is a wonderful place to bring kids on a summer day. There are actually three types of fountain here where kids, and adults, can play around and cool off. The long stretch with jets of water shooting up from the ground is the most popular and there are children of all ages splashes around. There was someone on duty while we were there reminding kids to walk and not run. There are some tables, stone benches and plenty of grassy area to sit and relax while keeping an eye on your kiddos. We parked in the lot right across the street for a $10 daily fee
The fountain is closed but me and my kids go down at night and tent the scooters. Its always a great time. It feels like we have the city to ourselves, definitely recommend
Best place to spend time in Columbus downtown. The river side walk path and the river and the downtown buildings gives a good ambience for late night walk or evening run/walk. There are public parking spaces around these places for parking and you could walk to the fountain area where you could see kids playing at the fountain.
Great place to take the kids to cool off.
I was biking and stopped to rest at that area. The fountain was not on, but there were still children and families enjoying the area and scenery.
My children absolutely love coming and playing in the water. It was a hot day at the Jazz and Rib Fest and what better way to cool off than playing in the water..even my husband and friends jumped in on the water action
I, Cleetus do declare this is a fine establishment. If my son Cleetus Jr was alive he would love this place, I miss Cleetus Jr. I shot him in a huntin accident with some pidgeons. I miss him.
My 2.5 year old son and I have been in Columbus for a year and a half now. This is easily one of our favorite places to visit when it’s hot outside. It can get pretty crowded and the big kids can be wild with little to no parental supervision. That’s the only thing I don’t like.
The most beautiful place in Columbus!
It was last summer....The girlfriend and I was on Scioto mile riding bikes with two of the kids and stopped off there to cool off. It was clean, convince of it being of the bike path that led right to it! Plenty of sites to see, you should check it out, neat place to be!
Fountains in the summer are great for kids, and the lights in the winter are lovely. The area is very clean as well.
Great fun for my son. Beautiful view of the city especially at night. My son says “The water from the fountain smells so good”.
Free fountains to cool off. Kids love it. You can picnic there on the grass. Theres restrooms there and the scioto mile restaurant. Be prepared to pay a parking meter or across the street parking which I think is $5.00
We Just loved it. Place was very good. Very good fountains for the kids to play for atleast couple of hours. Must visit for kids
My girlfriend and my daughter loved it here. Very fun and well managed. Parking may not be free but a meter is only 50 cents an hour for parking.
Wasnt working, probably due to covid
Fun place to bring your kids
People should really stop playing in the fountain. Its sort of trashy - there are plenty of better ways to cool off, such as swimming in The Scioto.
Great place to relax and enjoy. The kids can keep cool in the waterpark.
Free. Fun. And has public restrooms. Great place to cool off with the kiddos in the summer. Come in your bathing suit and dont forget the sunscreen.
Its one of our favourite place in columbus. Kids love the splash pad. It has amazing view of lighting and fog effects at night.
Great place to bring the kids to cool off
It read it was open today but it wasnt!
Great place to kill time and just enjoy each other. Great conversation with our kids and tons of sun!!
Nice place to walk around and sight see. Restaurants located within walking distance of the fountain.
Nice fountain! Pretty area, restrooms close early
Great family place to take your children
The jazz and rib fest crowd was the best. Our city is full of love and creativity.
Even at my age I love running thru it. Wonderful place for kids of all ages!
Great place to beat the heat! Listen to great music and meet new people.
It is a great family fun environment. Plenty of shade and places to sit and relax.
Great place for the kids to have fun getting wet. No pool or slides, but perfect for what it is. The kids had a blast.
A great place to go walk around and there are lots of festivals going on in the summer time! Close to done great spots in the downtown and the Franklinton areas. I love the fountains by Milestone!
Very lively and friendly, as well as safe.
Beautiful place to bring the family. Shade and lots of fun events in the area
Kids always have fun here. They keep it clean and they have staff there that keep an eye on the kids
Kids loved it its...its a fun and cheap way to take the little ones to play in the water and have a great time
Great splash ground for the family, free and a beautiful view of downtown Columbus
A nice place for hangout in the evening. Great view of the downtown reflections upon the Scioto river.
The scotto mile was not operational, however the food truck festival was wonderful!
Very nice for walking. Kids can play in the water. Close downtown good location.
Awsome splash pad for the kids and adults as well
Biggest splash pad in town, great place for kids.
Great free fun for kids. Large enough space for big crowds.
Our son had so much fun
Great place to take little ones. Its a nice way to cool off on a hot day and keep the little ones happy.
Great, clean family environment for the kids to go and have fun during the summer!
Never been to a place like this, bet its a very busy place when its really hot!! Very cool
Good place for family
Had a great time at the food truck festival!
Great Atmosphere
Children had a super time but need to watch their children better
Love Love Libe this place!! Great place to take the kids or family and cool off :)
Great spot for kids!
Relaxing and fun way to cool off in the city!
I love this view. I hope to get married there one day. I look at my pictures I took there in 2017 and am in awe every time.
This is a fantastic place to take small children in the summer! It’s busy and you have to park at a meter or in a garage but where else can your kids play for 2 hours for $1.50? (Two hours meter rate) There are many places to sit and have a picnic. There are infants sitting in less than an inch of water splashing and giggling as well as older kids cheering when the larger water fountains rain down on them. The bathrooms aren’t perfect but they aren’t terrible. Staff members watch out for unsafe behavior like running but overall parents should be watching their children. After leaving the fountains take a walk or enjoy the swings overlooking the river. Beautiful downtown oasis. We look forward to going every year!
Great place to be
A beautiful place to hang out.
Ribs were great...hot and juicy.
My grandkids love it and it keeps them happy I love it
Some children are not well behaved but nice water park. can get very busy
Great for children and adults! So much fun for the little ones to run through the fountains, you can make this a day trip to play in the fountains then go for a walk on the Scioto Mile walking path or vise versa. There are people monitoring to make sure every one stays safe and I know babies must have water diapers on as a rule. But great time!
Cool place, but gross.
Great place for the kids and adults.
Fantastic stop on a hot day! Love letting the kids run thru the water and have fun. Its free, but bring some change for parking.
Its ok fun and food
I just took my daughter to the fountains for the first time and I have to say how impressed I am. First of all I imagined it to be much smaller than what it is. It was packed full of people but there was still plenty of room for everybody. We played in the water and when we were drying we laid blankets out and had a picinic looking out on the water and then after took a long walk down the bike path and I was honestly so impressed we had a blast and will definitely be going back more often!
Jazz, ribs and a great place to cool off
Great place to take the kids
Always the place to bring a smile to a childs face when the water pad is doing its thing. Just make sure you dont forget to pay to park in the lot at Main and Civic Center it is $52.00 if you dont
We love it go alot during the summer
Great place to bring your kids and family
Nice place to cool off!
Fun place to go to...
Its a great idea to take a walk and get people wet so you get cooled off. Id like to rent a bike and go riding a long the river.
Amazing place to bring kids or just relax. They have lots of fountains and water to play in, volunteers to help keep an eye out for safety, and beautiful lights after dark.
A fantastic fountain play area with a beautiful green space overlooking the Scioto River. Its fun for all ages, and even has a few quiet spots for relaxing and reading among the activity.
Great, lovely place to visit
Nice clean and safe.
It was sp clean and beautiful there
Nice place to cool off
