Great meadery. A lot of diversity in the flavor and palate of the mead. The bartender was amazing. She made our night and was super helpful. We tried a lot of different meads and she was very willing to explain the flavor profile and have a casual conversation. We will definitely be returning the next time we travel to Columbus!

This place is such a rare find! Stumbled upon it last night and went in for some of their delicious mead. Their staff was amazing! Kari couldn’t have been more welcoming! Love her! Excellent drinks, warm atmosphere and incredible service. Already can’t wait to go back!

Amazing experience. The lady pouring us samples was knowledgeable and fun plus she was from Chicago so extra points. She let us in early and we tried just about everything on the board. We all picked up bottles to take home and I will always stop in when Im in town.

My husband and I took a tour because we bought a Groupon. It was super chill, but very enjoyable. Neither of us had tried mead before, so this was a great opportunity. They provided 5 sizable samples, so we got an ample taste of a variety. We ended up buying 6 bottles to take home. Great debt-free business that is looking to expand, so we were happy to support.

This is one of my very favorite spots to experience some culture in Columbus. I especially love when the momo dumpling food truck is there. They are so tasty. The Meade is lovely and makes a great gift. Check out the scene! Pre-pandemic there would be a great variety of live music.

Love this place. The atmosphere and drinks are always amazing. I’ve done the Mead Tour twice with friends and have had a blast each time. The workers there are very friendly and give good recommendations. The few times I have been, I usually leave with a bottle or two. My favorite is the Battle Ax Mead. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Went on one of their meadery tours and it was awesome. You get up to 9 different mead samples which at the end of the night adds up to basically a whole bottle! Plus the staff is very kind and welcoming, and a Brothers Drake glass is included in the tour price. Very good prices for such a small company. Only negative is parking, I parked at the Kroger a couple blocks away.

I bought and paid for a tour / tasting prior to covid-19 for my anniversary in March. They were closed the next 3 months due to the outbreak for this experience. I called and left numerous voicemails during this timeframe but they dont answer the phone or respond. The voucher has expired so guess Im just out that money. Poor customer service especially during a time we might need some mead. Ill stick with the Zen Bee Meadery.

Great, chill place to have good conversation with friends. Prices are reasonable for Columbus, and for the service and atmosphere. If you like something sweet but not too overwhelming, peach rush and apple pie mead are the best!

I love bringing new people here. This meadery has grown so much in the past year! Going on the tour with the owner is fun and interesting, plus you get to taste different stages of mead and possibly special flavors before release date! Staff is great, atmosphere is always changing with bands and artwork on the walls. This is my go to drinking spot in Columbus.

One of the coolest hidden gems in Columbus. If youre a wine drinker, I definitely recommend giving this place a go. Live music was perfect. Great atmosphere. You can get your mead by the glass or bottle or if your new to it, a flight. The staff is incredibly friendly and quite knowledgeable. Will be going back again for a tour!

We come here often for the RESTART House Music nights (usually last Friday’s of each month) and always have a really good time. Eclectic mix of people. Easy to get a drink. And doesn’t get too crowded!Please ‘Like’ if this review is helpful

Great tour, delicious mead.

Based on all of the other reviews, I wish I had been here during a band’s performance. I popped in while I was driving through Columbus because I had never been to a meadery but have had my fair share of meads. When we first walked in there seemed to be a lingering stench and we couldn’t really figure out it’s point of origin. The bartender was wildly helpful in describing all of our options and there were quite a variety of meads available. Once we started drinking them, though, we were a bit disappointed in the final product. A couple of the seven we tried were delightful but the rest were extremely thick with an almost syrupy mouthfeel. It was a fun adventure to try it all at least!

Brothers drake has many types of Mead to offer. They range from dye to sweet. Try their ginger mead or go for the apple pie mead; there are many great choices at Brothers Drake. I recommend the tour!

If youre interested in wine or looking to try something new this is the place for you. They offer unique beverage options in the form of mead that they make themselves. They also offer tour options and will go through the process on how they make it. They have new drink options on the menu monthly that are creations of the brewers themselves. Highly recommend this place to anyone interested in experiencing a unique beverage option.

A group of friends did the mead tour. The owner was very knowledgeable and passionate about the mead. The quality showed. I was surprised how good the mead was. Its sweeter than wine comparatively, but very very good. I will probably purchase a bottle in the future. My only recommendation for the owner would be when we are on the tour feel free to walk around the room and explain exactly where things go a bit more.

Had a great time, loved the atmosphere. Really hope next time we get to do the tour. Recommended to anyone who has never tried mead before. Also special thanks to Robert for the great service.

Came here for a tour one weekend and had a blast! Learned more about mead than I ever thought I would and they were very generous with the tastings. We ended up coming home with a small bottle. Its expensive, but the process and craftsmanship justifies the price.

DELICIOUS! If youve never had Mead this is the place to go! Try the bourbon apple pie mead! The bartenders and tour guides are great and so helpful. We did the meadery tour and it was pretty informative. You get one sample before the tour 2 during the tour and 2 after the tour. We a had a groupon great deal!

My first trip was a very pleasant experience. We visited the wine side. After some wine tasting and a glass of their newest wine ..i had to buy two grest tasting wines. Next trip soon will be their liquor and food side .

We did the Groupon tour/tasting. Its a great value. Oron and the staff were excellent hosts. They provided ample tastings and an informative and entertaining experience. Oh, and did I mention that the mead is incredible? We even got to sample an unreleased mead made with raspberries. It was so good I literally put a notification in my calendar for the month is scheduled to be bottled! My wife and I will definitely be back for more.

Im absolutely in love with this place!! Not only does it have a really cool and fun atmosphere with live music but the staff is craxy knowledgeable about their product. My fiance and I both live dry red wines and so he ordered a dry item from the menu but I was not a fan so I told the bartender but I like to drink and she thought for a minute then came back with a sample and nailed it! I absolutely loved it!!! We will definitely be back again and again!!

Mead is kind of pricey but 10000% worth the price. Its quality. The staff is good. The décor is spot on with this kind of rustic, industrial chic look. Has an outside patio. Has genderless, handicapped friendly restrooms. Parking is on-street and can be difficult at times. I dislike most of the live music nights because they disrupt the otherwise chill, cozy, warm atmosphere this place has. But this place is a great place to meet up with friends usually and catch up over quality alcoholic drinks.

Purchased the tour package on Groupon as a date night for my wife and I. Nice clean place, not to busy. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Tastings were given before, during and after the tour. Small facility but the information about the locally sourced ingredients and process were very interesting. Free live music was playing during our visit. Again, the staff there made our visit relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed longer than expected after a few friends joined us there. The price for the tour / tasting experience was more than reasonable. We will be back and I recommend a visit!

This place is a cute little hipster joint. It draws a good crowed, has a chill atmosphere, and the band that played was amazing. Its at the very beginning of short north so they have their own parking which is a nice bonus. If youre in the area and want an alternative bar scene, check it out.

Great mead and friendly staff. This is the kind of place that Columbus is known for. Not exactly my kind of place but they do a very good job at creating a unique and fun environment.

This was the first stop for my bachelor party. I tried to find brewery tours in the city but all were too expensive. I didnt know what Mead was but after our tour we all loved it. The tour was fantastic and it was great to see and hear about the Mead making process. The beer on tap is also delicious. I would suggest taking the tour to lean more about the philosophy behind Mead and to learn about different drinks you can make with it. Laid back atmosphere is great to be in too.

This is my secret place in the Short North area. The wine is unique, the atmosphere is cozy, and the music is often relaxing. They frequently have live jazz shows on the weekends and sometimes on other nights of the week.The taste of the mead is unlike what youll likely find anywhere else in the city.

A nice space with ample room for seating inside and out but not enough tables, chairs or stools to accommodate the maximum capacity. The choice of meade was good; no so on other drinks. No food choices. Service was so-so. Note to bartenders: when customers are trying to close their tab, maybe you shouldnt be taking shots of liquor and ignoring them. Just a suggestion. Not a place I would recommend except if youre going for the musical entertainment .

What an amazingly new experience. The staff, environment, live music and drink were beyond awesome. Being new to the area, I was researching wine bars with live music in Columbus when I came across Brothers Drake. I was looking for a unique, one of a kind experience, and I found it. Thank you. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Jazz on Wednesday nights. Im not a mead fan (its too sweet for me), but from others in our party its quite good. Beer selection is limited, so dont expect too much if youre not into the mead scene. Nice music area, but at times the crowd noise can be distracting from the artistry on stage. I know... Im old. Cool venue.

Yeah, I have a bias due to it being a current employer, that being said, I love it so much I needed to work here. The shows are always on point. The drinks are to the level of crushing it. The snacks are... Well, there arent any except a dope a.f. trail mix bit they dont care if you bring food in. Ive seen everything go down in this place from a marriage proposal to salsa dancing in the street. But lets talk about the mead. The only place in Columbus where you can get a full pallet of flavor blasts from a wide variety of mead. If you dont know what a mead is, the staff will not only tell you, but make sure you know how to tell your friends when you leave. The owners and the rest of the staff are all absolutely the best hard working people around. The sound guys are audiophiles and work around the clock to make sure your ears get the treat the deserve. The place is the cleanest bar Ive ever been in, and ive been doing bars for a loooooooong time. In summation, the place is the win.

This place has a very relaxing environment and their Apple Pie mead is outstanding, delicious, and second to none. The bartenders are super friendly and laid back. Great people!Sometimes it does get really crowded, especially during live music (and they usually have a cover those nights), but on nights there isnt a band its typically pretty cozy. Overall though, this place has a decent amount of space. Towards the front is a nice open area with seating for a good general vibe, and the back is a nice dimly lit area which is great for a nice, quiet, even romantic atmosphere.It also sits back just a smidge (say 20-30yds) from High Street and doesnt have great signage, but this place is on point and worth giving a shot. Definitely in my top 5 places in Columbus!

Hands down, best mead I have ever had. The staff is friendly and intelligent, and their product cant be beat. There is a wide variety of offerings that all can enjoy. The meadery itself has a great feel, and I was lucky enough to see a bluegrass band on my last visit.

Best place in town for mead of all varieties, as well as frequent live music. The environment is well done with an indoor/outdoor area, garage doors which open to the patio. On the smaller side, it can be packed during events.

This is a cool hangout, and something pretty unique as there are not a ton of meaderies around (think wine made with honey instead of grapes). It has a unique feel and frequently has some live local music. The staff is always friendly and able to answer any questions you have.

I cant focus you on anything in particular. The mead, cocktails, beers, service, music, and philosophy are all amazing. It has a great vibe. I wish more places were like this, but then it would only take away how special it is.

Okay, so I’ve been here for three Jazz Wednesday’s now, and I absolutely love the mead, the bartenders (specifically Dru, Natalya, and Rob), the people I meet here, and the local talent that performs on Wednesday’s. I’d never had Mead prior to visiting Brothers, and I gotta say, it’s a great beverage. I particularly like the wild Ohio, the Firestone, and the Brioso. If you want something sweet, the pollinator is also good.If you’re looking for a good mixed drink, I’d recommend Natalya’s own Polyamorous (mixture of their mead, middle west spirits whiskey, and some local ginger beer). It’s a delightful beverage with a mixture of the brews of local businesses within CBUS. My only regret is that I think they should have food trucks here, as the mead does hit you pretty hard on an empty stomach, so don’t come hungry lol.

Very cool people and loved the local product. Happy hour offers a great deal to sample multiple flavors at economical cost. All products used and sold are local (state of Ohio only).

Great little place right off the main path. Its a little meadery with an attached bar. Cool decor, knowledgeable staff, and amazing alcohol. My wife got a flight and I sampled hers. I randomly selected the bourbon barrel apple pie and by happenstance hit my favorite. They do scheduled tours and I look forward to going on one.We bought a couple of bottles to take home and I cant wait to kick back with a glass of this with a good book.Liquid, sweet, golden warmth is the best description I can give.***Update***Had another great evening here. I went with my wife on their tour. Between the two of us we samples all the different Meads and ended up buying several bottles. The tour was interesting, the different Meads were amazing, and the staff was friendly and informative.Definitely recommend doing the tour but if not its a great little bar right off the Short North. Great atmosphere, unique drinks, and a great staff make this a no brainier as a cool place to relax. Looking forward to many future visits.

This place offers an excellent beer selection in a very hipster space. It doesnt have the best location but its a good stop if youre doing a high street bar crawl.
