Avoid the skinny brunette bartender. I asked what kind of tequila they had and she rudely said all of our tequila is down there. Uh...ok...thanks a lot. Smh. We left after that.

Found this place by accident around 10pm on a Friday night. Place was packed by midnight with several people of all ages on the dance floor. Wife had an awesome time.

This is a great place to go on a Friday or saturday night, but i dont recommend it on any other night unless you go to the dance classes. It is definitely my favorite night club in columbia that i have been to.

Cool atmosphere, eclectic music choices from the DJ, nice mix of people as far as cultures. However this is a very very small and cramped venue. And the bathrooms are very nasty.

I absolutely love this place! The crowd is so diverse and the bartenders and music are awesome! I always take my friend here whenever she comes to town.

The staff was very RUDE! I came through the door and man checked ID and put the stamp on hand.... I was there for an hour already and had order 2 drinks. The lady that was serving at bar asked to see my ID again because she didn’t believe my ID was real and even asked my sign for my birth month. She finally gave it back after embarrassing me in front of everyone around the bar. I go there about every other weekend but never will return back!!!

This is the ultimate dance club. They play old school music for the most part (80s, 90s, and 2000s). Very, very diverse atmosphere at this place. Never seen or heard of any drama. The line can get pretty long if youre there around 12am...also be prepared to stand ALL night because the tables and sofas are usually filled up!!! Ladies trying to be cute in heels...youd better pack some flats! Last notes- drink selections are good ($5 house) and there is ONLY ONE WOMENS ROOM! Yep, just one stall!! Makes you not want to drink :(

Great atmosphere, leis at the door, I dont know why they charge women a cover fee tho, great music but some songs I didnt know, I need to learn the line dances for next time, great service one bartender jumped in when he saw that they were swamped and cleared the bar in seconds, door man went out of his way to let us know that if we went outside to smoke that wed have to wait in line to get back in, not surprised this place is voted best in Columbia for many years running! This bar is a very good place to hangout for and out of all the bartenders working in there Kathy is the best. Kathy is so sweet, always at people and I bet everyone going to the bar regularly would like her but very few write about her.

DJ refused to play Bodak Yellow or anything from Cardi B, because his personal preference. At this point Cardi B had been #1 on the billboard charts for several weeks, i was shocked by dj response and went to finish my drink. Come to find out it mustve been me asking that caused the immediate refusal, as soon as my white counterpart requested the same song he played it! Never again will i spend my own hard earned coin there, not to be treated so badly

Terrible customer service. One particular bartender had an issue with me as soon as I walked up and asked for a drink. Incredibly sassy and unwelcoming and later on tells me she doesnt have my card, but never actually presented me with my card so it would obviously be behind the bar. Tried explaining to her the sitaution and all I get is eye rolls and a smirk, while Im obviously distressed about her misplacing my card. Turns out she handed it to my friend instead of the actual card owner(knew about it the whole time and still continues to let me be upset and argumentative because she didnt follow policy by returning MY debit card. Needless to say, if you want rude and unhelpful service this is the bar to go to! Also ordered 3 drinks(all house) and got charged 27 dollars. Pretty sure she included her own tip, which obviously could get her fired. Will be contacting management so I can get my money back that should have never been taken(the tip anyways, I didnt sign a reciept or anything, so well see whos signature is on it as well. :)

Went there for my birthday Loved it they played an awesome 90s and early 2000s mix for music made me want to do the crazy leg drink prices were reasonable damn good time.

So it was 1st time going to this estabishment, last night the 25th . Needless to say the wait to get in was overrated and no reentry line. Overall i had a great time and the bartenders...ummm the really nice gentlemen pointed to me as the bartender TRIED (tried it) to overlook me. Once again, the Dj was pretty dope playing 2000 to 2007 music (my college days) Anywho, Iˋm not trying to be racist as SOME may say, but I HANDED my 10 dollar bill to this older white gentlemen and he proceeded to stamp my hand laid the 5 dollar change on the counter. ummmmm i waited and he really wasnˋt going to hand it back to me in me hand. I just snatched my money, said it cost zero dollars to be nice to people!!!! Iˋll keep my 5 dollars, I am sure they make enough from other locals and USC students... LOVED THE DJ though!!!

I am a member of the latin dancing community in Columbia, SC and frequently dance with professional and semi professional dancers in Columbia and Charlotte. I dance Salsa, Bachata, Latin Cha-Cha, and Kizomba, and frequently attend Salsa Congresses. The Woody in the Vista, on Wednesday nights, plays latin music. They play Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and an occasional Latin Cha-Cha. They play a good mix of different styles of music. The venue is very nice, very clean, and has a good dance floor. (Not an amazing dance floor, but decent hardwood). The dance floor is rather small, but hey it gets by. The rest of the venue is like a lounge, with quality couches and chairs that are maintained very well. The Woody is a fun place to go on Wednesday nights. Youll see a mix of mostly amateur dancers, but we also have a group of us that are pretty decent dancers that can get it done. Its a friendly atmosphere and, in my opinion, a great place to start a latin dancing lifestyle since most of the dancers are beginner level. A good buildup over time to a Salsa Congress. I highly recommend. A stark contrast to Salsa Cabana. Also, you start dancing at 9pm and end at 12am! So you can go home and get a full night of sleep and still dance. Thats what the community needs and the Woody delivers.

They charge $5 cover on Wednesday nights for salsa dancing. Theres about 15 people in the bar and some assorted Latin music with a handful dancing. Quite pathetic!
