The Aristocrat occupies the location where the Columbias institution, Kellys, used to reside. Theyve cleaned it up and gotten it a lot brighter. The drinks are good (the Day Man, in particular), and they have the best pita chips Ive ever tried. Its a little on the pricier side but nothing unusual for the Vista. The bartenders are awesome, especially Liz!

Grant will take good care of you! If you visited the previous establishment, you will not recognize it (in a good way). Proper cocktails in a sophisticated setting.

The Aristocrat is in my top 10 favorite places in Columbia! The environment, menu and live music truly make this place special. Its also a great spot for lunch during the week or a place to grab a quick drink with a client.

Best bar Ive been to in awhile! The hand-crafted cocktails are always superb and the food is devine. I love the chicken bacon ranch pizza. They just opened for lunch as well, I havent tried everything yet, but you cant go wrong with the muffelata. Service is exceptional and I am happy to say I am friends with the majority of the staff. They make the experience very personal and are nothing but welcoming. There is usually live music as well with very talented musicians. Always such a pleasure to frequent this establishment.

Best. Pretzel. Ever. Freshly baked when I ordered it and still hot when it came hanging to the table. Grant mixed spectacular cocktails, especially his choice whiskey smash with Makers Mark. The seating is tufted luxury. The lighting is beautifully jeweled chandeliers everywhere. They are saving the planet with recyclable straws and LED bulbs. The walls are filled with colorful, local art. The owner, Mason, even came to check on us. We will be back!

Awesome drinks and even better food! Got the fried cauliflower and the veggie pizza, plus a gin and tonic and The Night Man. The cauliflower tasted very much like the bang bang shrimp at Bonefish Grille, but better! The veggie pizza was unique with the sauce being a black bean base, but still had a traditional pizza taste, we loved it! Great prices overall on both drinks and food. Were definitely going to make this a regular spot!

And the owner was very personable and took his time to speak with every guest, which is important to me. That’s the only way to make sure your guests are truly happy.

What a cool little bar to see music at! Was formerly a different dive bar. The new management remodeled and opened up the floor plan. Its still a little cramped, but the music acts make it worth it!! They have a steady stream of music events scheduled every week.

It was my first time to Columbia and I was glad to have found this gem. Nice atmosphere, great cocktails and most importantly, great bartender. Chancellor was extremely welcoming, mixed up top notch libations while engaging in great conversation. My only wish was that the bar didn’t close at 11. I would have enjoyed another round. Definitely try this place out it’s worth the visit.

Glad this place is available because of the jazz they offer. It is an intimate setting, read small, but that is a good thing. Staff is enthusiastic and they have a good selection of beers and take pride in their mixed drinks. Outside seating is available and is wonderful on balmy evenings.

We are new to Columbia and are so pleased to have been introduced to this gem. LOVE this wine bar. The wine selection is great...the food is exceptional and the atmosphere is comfy and relaxing. Pretty sure that we will be regulars. Thanks for making us feel welcome!

I was looking for good cocktail bar to go hang out with a friend. I found the Aristocrat online and decided to take a chance. We ended up spending the entire night there. We had a great time. The drinks were excellent. Between the two of us we tried about eight different cocktails and nothing disappointed. The ingredients were fresh and the drinks all original. Our plan was to head out somewhere after to eat but we decided to stay there. Had meatballs, pickled pretzels, and pizza. The food was just what we wanted and did not dissapoint. It is so nice to have a place like this here in Columbia. We will back very soon. The barstaff was great. The owner was also behind the bar and is truly interested in everyone having a great experience. Last night there was live jazz that rounded out a great evening. I cant sy enough good things about this place! Please give it a try.

Such an adorable place with a fantastic wine and cocktail list! I love what the new owners of the old Kellys location have done with the space. This is a great neighborhood/Happy hour spot that features weekly wine tastings along with the occasional jazz band playing. I love the concept. More places in columbia need the character The Aristocrat is tapping into. Bubbles anyone?

My co-workers and i have been there after work a couple of times and we loved everything about it! From management to the bartenders. Its a different atmosphere from the normal bars and restaurants. The craft drinks were DELICIOUS! We had the crab cakes and the stuffed mushrooms. Will definately be going back. I love this place great date spot.

Didnt like the experience at all. Expensive and the bar tender made the worst long island Ive ever had then charged me $5 more than what he originally said he was going to charge. I paid because its the last money Ill spend there. Good luck if u go there.

Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is cozy & eclectic, and avocado fries and almond crusted brie are dank as hell.

If youre looking for a huge wine list, fabulous craft cocktails and a knowledgeable staff, this is the place for you! The decor is very tasteful and the bar features a wall of art dedicated to local artists as well. They even do wine tastings on Wednesday and Friday nights!

I have frequented The Aristocrat since its grand opening in April. This is, by far, the best establishment of its kind. The atmosphere is classy, chic, and relaxed. I love to nibble on various items from the food menu while enjoying the wide selection of wines and craft cocktails. The staff is also amazing! I would never believe this location is what was once Kellys. It is very apparent the owner put a lot of thought and heart into every detail from the decor, to food and drinks, to selecting the perfect staff. Every aspect comes together with ease for the perfect experience. I rave about this place to everyone and would highly recommend it over others establishments.

Less than a star. This place was awful. They charged us four dollars service charge for pouring a drink. Really? High end it is not. Ive been to ritzy high end places and was never charged for pouring a drink and I drink expensive scotch. This was my first and last time. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

This bar is racist. My friend and I went into the bar for some drink and just because my friend had on a safety vest on he was profiled thinking he was someone walking in off the street. We was seating at the bar for 45 minute had two drinks. He went to the bathroom and the owner sent another employee to ask him why he was here. And the employee said we can remove you when my friend was upset that he was approached about why he was here. Dude we was here for 45 minute just because my friend took his jacket off and and had on his safety vest on. Look we are customer I dont care what color we are you dont treat people like that. I will never go back there ever again. I had to address bar tender because he had a cut on his hand making drinking and thats a no...no..

We stopped by here on the way to a show and were delighted. The decor/ atmosphere is great (everything from the chandeliers to pasty cline music gave it a very authentic feel), drinks were good (and strong!), bartenders were fun, and while we didnt get to try the food, the menu looked amazing. We had never been to downtown Columbia and lucked out that this was our first stop!
