My son has been in the Staerling Stars Academy for over a year. I have seen a tremendous growth in his understanding of the game. He has also grown in his ability to handle the ball with both hands as well as his shooting. Im glad that his mother and I enrolled him in the Academy. Since Ive been coming to Sterling Stars Ive watched myself progress exponentially. And the instructor Brian Sterling really cares about the player and their personal progression. He works with everyone to make sure theyre getting better; when you step in the gym youre instantly apart of a family and he treats you as such. He provides high level material that even I as a college student didnt know. I really believe this academy is a hidden gem that more people need to be apart of.

Intensive program for your young player. They will develop and practice proper techniques, sound fundamentals, and tactical strategies. Age ranges from elementary to high school. My son has been part of the Academy for four months and has improved on the court and grown his love for the game. Brian knows how to motivate his students, with the ultimate goal of helping them succeed by realizing their goals both on and off the court. Perhaps the best part about the Academy, to me, is that they genuinely care about your young ones. Be prepared to work hard, stay disciplined, and get better.

My sons ball handling and shooting improved immensely while training at Sterling Stars Basketball Academy. He started prior to his freshman year and has remained a pupil. His abilities earned him a rare Varsity playing position on his High School Team as a sophomore.

Sensei leads unique drills and focuses on skills that other coaches and camps gloss over too quickly. The best thing that this Academy does is give my girls confidence that they can do anything on the court. I like the fact that they also teach and emphasize teach life skills beyond basketball.

My 11 year old granddaughter has been attending the Academy for a few months now and we have seen significant improvement in parts of her game! Sensei runs a disciplined program which focuses on individual skills and he genuinely cares about the kids and their development. Regardless of skill level - I would, have, and will continue to recommend this program to others!

I have observed Sterling Stars Basketball Academy for some time now, and can honestly say that I am impressed with their approach to training and development. They have taken average basketball training and exponentially improved it with the addition life skills. Sensei Brian Sterling has mastered (no pun intended) the art of discipline, coupled with physical conditioning and agility. It amazes me how trainees become so tuned in to his direction, and learn mental and physical self-control. Not many programs are able to work your mind and thought process - all things to make you a better player on and off the court! Hands down best training program in Howard County. Great mixture of physical skill training and mental training. They will get ur kid prepared for basketball and life
