Great place to find local art and crafts

This is such a wonderful shop! Amazingly crafted wooden jewelry boxes. Pottery mugs and bowls of all shapes and colors. Cool jewelry. Lovely handwoven items. The silk scarves with Missouri leaf prints were my favorite. I came in for gifts, but I cant leave without something for myself.

So many beautiful items to select. I shop here every year and have never been disappointed. My favorite store.

Knick-knacks and trinkets is the best way I can describe what they sell. However to end it there would hardly be fair. Everything is produced by local artists from the region. Bluestem has a variety of pieces- clothing, small woodworkings, home and decor, kitchen goods, seasonal and more. They are not cheap but you are paying for the unique artisan factor. They do complimentary gift-wrapping and enclose a little information about the artist with the purchase.
