Very poor customer service to say the least. I ordered a black storm clownfish that came dead on arrival. It was very small and presumably died from the stress of shipping given its small size. I sent an email out right away with picture and got no response. I sent a second email and got no response. I called and a woman took my information, said she could see that I sent emails, and would send her own email to the owner to get back to me. She said they were very busy from an event and would get back to me. No response. I get that certain stores do not have DOA policies but at least get back to your customers.

Ive been ordering from these guys since they introduced Quantum Products the road has been a bit bumpy. They claim if you order by 3:30 EST theyll ship the same day, my last 2 orders Ive had to contact them about when my order might ship out. My overall experience lately has been mediocre at best with the shipping!! I sure hope this improves with future orders or have to take my business elsewhere!!

The owner is very knowledgeable about the fish and products that he sells. he also has a great selection of fish and a bunch of corals. Very friendly people that work alongside the owner and just great business overall.

Great place with tons of nice corals and everything else you need to reef.

Very few fish, the ones that were there looked skinny. There were no lights over the fish only tanks, making it hard to see what was inside. Same coral as every other store. The dry goods were kind of random. None of the major lines were well stocked. Overall not the worst fish store but I would recommend a different place instead of this one.

Just left there didnt stay maybe 5 min was In a rush didnt have time to talk to anyone but from what I could see this is DEFINITELY THE GO TO PLACE FOR SALT WATER!!!

Scott was very nice and knowledgeable. I had been to multiple saltwater stores around the Columbia area trying to find a filefish to handle an aiptasia problem but no one had one including him unfortunately. He was much more interested in helping me find a solution to my issue then anyone else I had talked to. This fish was an important Father’s Day gift. He suggested an alternative fish that was much prettier and is doing a great job cleaning up the tank! His pricing was also more fair then anyone else’s I had looked at and I was very happy to do business with him. Thanks Scott you are the fish man!

I had a great experience here. They sell all kinds of fish and corals. The staff was very friendly and they have a ton of inventory. I went in to have someone inspect my aquarium and he did a great job.

Cool place, unfortunately I dont have a salt water tank, because this guy has some of the most amazing fish and coral. Definitely knows his stuff. Looking for salt water, I would definitely start here.

Aquarium Specialty both as a brick and mortar store and as a eCommerce website literally carry anything you could ever need as a hobbyist. Customer service is always top notch and shipping is always lightning fast. For those that dont know they now have livestock again at their location as some of the other reviewers mentioned. All of the items are awesome, and they have some fantastic SPS colonies and frags. Be sure to check them out if you are in town. You wont be disappointed!

I walked in and as soon as I got in the door Dane asked if I needed any assistance. This is quite rare for aquatic shops (as I have been to quite a few). He explained everything thoroughly to where I could understand. He even went as far to shed light on his personal experiences on some of the products they carry. Not that he was saying they were horrible, but that he has used better. Dane, also didn’t suggest anything extremely expensive either (which is also a rare occurrence). The owner of the business even came out and spoke with me for a few minutes as well. I highly recommend this aquatic shop to any one who is interested in the hobby (amateur to expert). The prices are competitive with other shops in the area.

Well established Aquarium store. 1st visit into the shop and I was amazed at their display tanks and the amount of stock they have on hand in store. Will be making another visit to this shop again.

I have visited this store twice. The first visit I was told a particular coral was $50 prior to being told it wasnt for sale by another employee, it was for grow out.Today I received the rudest comment ever from Scott (the president). A shopping customer should never be told to be respective and conscious of an employees time because you all had a lot to do for black Friday. Seriously? This is the closest LFS to my house but I will not be a returning customer.

Nice store very clean, very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful staff, keep in mind this isnt a fish store but a supply store made towards saltwater aquariums, however, some supplies (like substrate) can be purchased there.
