Not my cup of tea! a wonderful natural setting in the hills, a good set-up with a volleyball court below, clean bathrooms and showers, seemed like a nice restaurant and there were plenty of nice people around. having said that, the music didnt stop pounding till the wee hours, successfully preventing any decent amount of rest! and i came away feeling that more than a family atmosphere-the way its advertised to be- it was truly a hook-up party scene that ran through its veins. the hosts at the gate were nice enough going in, but not even a good-bye or a glance on the way out! underneath it all its a money-making operation in a nice place!
Best place for a relaxed nudist weekend. The people are great. They have a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, restaurant, and bar. You can do all types of reservations. Tent Camping, RV, little cabins. Tons of great hiking and views. Very relaxed.
Great place, friendly staff and campers. Clean and enjoyable facilities. You can hear and see wild burrows roaming around. Relaxing and low cost.
A very pleasant place to spend time. The facilities were great, a bargain if you are treating yourself just to a day at the pool with some hikes thrown in. I was there for a Memorial Day music festival and the people were all cool and welcoming.Because of the nature of the resort, getting in can be a little daunting. Call ahead to get permission, but get names of who you talk to. The person who screens you at door may have a different standard than who took the call.
All of the staff are very friendly as long as youre not an entitled creep. Great place to visit, especially during the Bare Burro 5k weekends. Wish I could live there.
Always a great annual 5K, the family that owns the place is super friendly, the restaurant makes good food and plenty of it, the pool and jacuzzi are great and theyve got a nice sauna. Theres also a really long hike out in the hills where the 5K is run.
What a bust, I traveled quite a distance to ODR for an event with another nudist organization and was turned away because I was an unaccompanied male, I was told that a gender quota had been implemented because there are too many males that are lookie loos and that they dont know why more males than females want to flaunt their stuff.I understand that these are real issues being faced by this and probably many other resorts like this one, my negative review is primarily because I think the resort should clearly publish on their website or social media their wishes to not have single men enter the resort. That would save a lot of time for the staff and clearly advise would be visitors that they would be turned away due to being unaccompanied. Also clearly stated that the resort is ONLY for couples and families, as I was asked if I had seen that on the website. Which it does but it does not say explicitly ONLY.

A special retreat where I can be happy nude with my husband. You can choose to be social, or not. Cute little restaurant. Jacuzzi and pool of course!

Love Olive Dell Ranch. Its a great place for family to just come out and have fun. Been here for 5 years and its the best place Ive ever lived. The people are friendly, the food is good, theres allot to do here.

We love staying in the birdhouse cabins, under the olive trees. Its an invigorating feeling jumping into the pool, taking a sauna or relaxing in the jacuzzi, especially after a strenuous, naturist hike. And you wont find more hospitality. Bobby and Becki, the owners at OD, make sure of that! We always feel privileged to visit.

They have since amended their policies so that is a good step in the right direction that most resorts are not willing to take, so i will give it an average rating of three stars for now and give it another go and send in my review after my next visit...UPDATE...ok, i will bump it up another star to 4 stars as my subsequent visit was pleasant including residents and visitors alike...while i did not meet the owners while there i did see them enjoying themselves and interacting with other visitors and at least they were nude unlike most other management you will find at nudist resorts which makes good sense to me and their other employees too were at least mostly partially nude. I know this sounds strange but most staff members are NOT nude at nudist resorts which seems like a contradiction of their own business, so it is good to see that the owners here participate. The resort itself is actually quite large with a huge area if you like to venture out and hike for example but some of the amenities seem small and clustered with minimal outdoor seating with no shaded areas by the pool. The shaded area is fenced outside of the pool and it seemed to me that they could move the fence back about 6 feet and include the shaded area too, but i guess they have their reasons....but overall i was mostly happy and comfortable whether laid back or doing activities!!!...and their rates are the best compared to other local resorts near here, especially if you are an AANR member!!

Absolutely Wonderful!!! Bobby & the Staff are on top of their customer service game, the resort has a tight-knit layout that makes going from one place to another, a short walk. The pool & spa are clean & maintained. All the people are polite and respectful, in 3 days there, we did not hear a single negative word spoken. The Cafe serves a nice variety of meals throughout the day W/ Daily Specials and the Banann Splits are great.Out of respect for the resort & others there, be discreet with matters not on the rule list, respect the rules that are in place, and you will have a wonderful time.We will be back again.Thank you to all who we interacted with.For First Timers: Do It! Just go and play along, youll have a blast.(Wear sunscreen) :-)Now to be funny for a moment.My only complaints are:1. No shirt to wipe my sunglasses off.2. No where to put a lighter (at least a normal place)3. The cherry fell off my cigarette...(I looked like there was a bomb in my lap)

An extremely friendly and pleasant place to visit. The residents and staff are welcoming and inviting to the cleanliness and numerous planned activities and family like atmosphere comprised of couples, families with children and singles that conduct themselves as a strong family and show true and genuine love for each other. An atmosphere that has left me to, without a doubt a returned visit. And possibly seek a membership in the near future. There they possess a cafe stlye restaurant and community facility to commune and engage in a number of social activities. Along with an outdoor pool and large jacuzzi and sauna. The landscape full of floral and fawna that are quite picturing beautiful and tranquil. I was immediately impressed with the views and just how well kept the grounds were.i believe this is a great place for a day, weekend and vacation stay.i will without question be returning when the weather is warmer to experience a different feel in which I am excited to be further impressed with all of the warm weather activities and their Olympic festivities payed out in the events calendar that is posted online.

Run by really great people, this is one of the better nudist resorts youll find. The demographic skews slightly younger than some, and overall policies entice younger visitors allowing for more fun special events. Also has a FANTASTIC cafe by any standards with the best pancakes.

I used to be there allot, and I really miss being there, so, Im going to start saying there more often. I have a trailer space that is the most awesome spot in the parking, thanks to my good friend of 20 years, Bobby Kilborn.
My husband and I have been coming back to Olive Dell over the past 7 years. We have been to many nudist resorts and this one by far is the friendly, most welcoming, and accommodating resort we have been to. The owners treat us like family and there are always people out with warm smiling faces. There are other young couples around for us to talk to and always something to do. The place is kept clean and the restaurant has good service and simple tasty food.
Ive been a few times for my clubs events and found the Ranch to be very family oriented and an enjoyable place to spend the day or weekend.
Very inviting, non invasive, and friendly folk. I hope to go again some day.

Stayed here a few nights back in June 2013.The gatekeepers were very friendly and the facility itself is okay, but the owner ( Bobby ) was very rude to me and went out of his way to ignore me because due to an ailing parent I was down in southern CA visiting, I would be away from the facility during the day ( which he knew beforehand via email communication with him before I arrived, and said my visit would be pro-rated each day, but never was, as I was charged the full rate for each day. )Definitely, far from the most hospitable nudist resort I have ever been to.

Far better than Glen Eden! While they may not have two pools, its the people at a nudist resort that its all about. The people. Would you rather spend it at a place where everyone is so into themselves and their clicks that they wont even talk to you? Or the management is rude and hostile? Nudist resorts are supposed to be fun, happy places.Olive Dell is definitly fun and full of happy friendly folks. I will definitly visit many more times. And they have the cutest cabins to stay in! Top that GE.
My wife and I were members years ago and enjoyed the resort. If we had not moved to Oregon, we would still be members. We visit every chance we get.

You only do what your taught so surround yourself with excellent teachers.. This is the place to be to reverse the teaching of self shame and embarrassment and surround yourself and your family with excellent, loving, accepting, vivacious, self expressed teachers. The residence here are amazingly hospitable welcoming and just plain old fashion FUN people! The weather and scenery are SoCal perfect, the pool is pristine, and a big fat smiles waiting for you here at Olive Dell.

Sexist. Ive heard on naturist forums that clubs and resorts hate you if your single and a guy at the same time, i just didnt want to believe it. Ive loved being clothes free since i was a kid despite how vocal and against nudity my mother was, and when i finally came across other naturists online i was looking forward to having a good time with like minded people in a safe environment where i knew gawkers wouldnt be a problem. No such luck. I just dont understand why the gender quota is enforced at all. I mean its 2017 humans still havent out grown gender bias? Look a human history where people werent allowed to do something if they were one gender or another its dark stuff. If i were a girl i wouldnt feel unsafe or out of place in a facility where poor behavior isnt tolerated, a public place where anyone can come or go regardless of intent is way more off putting. And family friendly doesnt have to mean exclusive, imagine if Disney Land shut its doors on singles. Back to the closet i suppose.
