This is a beautiful park on the South West side of Colorado Springs. Its just off the Exit after Lake and Circle. If youre coming in on I25 North.Im not sure what the Exit is if youre coming from North I25.Once you exit take the next Exit on the right. You will turn North on Union.Be careful of Police monitoring your speed. They are usually right on the curve before you get to Union &. Fountain.Continue North. At the next light Memorial Park starts on the left.Just North of that light is an entrance into the Park.It is free to Picnic there & if you have a Colorado Fishing License you can fish there too.Theres a road that takes you completely around the Park.Come & enjoy.!!!3 thumbs up.

Park has great flow, huge bowls, half pipe, vert ramp. All skill levels are accommodated, from beginners to pros. Locals are super cool too.

This skate park is super fun, super help full, and perfect for learning all the tricks you want to learn and if you bet bored or tired of trying to do the trick there are so many other things you can do. I can get a lot of lines in and practice. My brother and I are usely there for about 6-7 hours each time we go and I dont want to go once our parents come to pick us up.

We live right next to the park. Ive come here all my life growing up, but my boyfriend recently showed me much more to love since being close by during the daylight and nighttime hours.

Gives some beautiful views in the middle of the city. I enjoy going fishing there and the playgrounds are nice.

Great space, can get a little busy with kids during the day causing one to have to take extra care not to run into anyone.

With little ones who are learning i recommend the morning time. Originally I wasnt a fan because we showed up mid day with ALL the people. When its not so busy its so much fun!CleanRespectful peopleAnd hours of stuff to practice on.

Bathrooms...open...plenty of parking...not crowded....views of the mountains for sunset watching....play area for kids...perfect

This is a beautiful park. The skate area is huge with 2 half ramps, bowls and park obstacles. Lind of a local feel with respect for everyone. Share the space, share the love.

It was amazing all military represented as well the firefighters memorial was very moving. Even have great tributes to all the lost dogs in the service.

Its big and fun and has everything a skater needs. But skate at your own risk, my son broke his arm here.

Great skate park. There can be some rough characters there using rough language but it is a good opportunity to discuss with kids what types of words are okay and which are not.

They have some beginner obstacles around the outside rim, a few very lovely bowls, two half pipes, and a great crowd. One of the better skateparks Ive seen.

Large facility with nice grinding area and huge wood ramp. Sometimes crowded, but typically nice smooth course.

Never had a dull moment at skatepark. My 8 year old son likes to go religiously

I love the park the lake the skatepark the ice rink everything the tennis courts. a beautiful place to take a walk or walk your dog but the people are trying to get out of hand and take over certain parts of the park and say its theirs only. Discovered has people acting very stupid. So in conclusion I think it needs to enforce more security

Clean perfect for skating. I dont skate but was nice to see a few people out there doing there thing.

Didnt actually go there, went by there it was very busy, people were everywhere. So it seems to be popular.

The fireworks show is amazing. I love this park at so big its great for major events and no matter how many people are there in never feels super crowded because theres so much room. And what a beautiful view of the mountains. Great place to hang out go play sports nap in a hammock or just take a nice walk the sunset there is beautiful!

This skate park is a fun place for near experienced skaters and the bowls are great but alot of the people there dont clean up after themselves and the kids their are toxic and rude and get in the way of others but some of the kids are respectful and stay out of the way so all in all its a good place to skate.

The kids seem to have fun. Bikes and skate boards,roller blades. Not much trouble around that area.

This skate park is pro level but also novice friendly check it out...and theres a great hole in the wall skate shop right across the street with very reasonable prices

Great place to spend a Saturday. Picnicing, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing out just enjoying a walk around the lake.

We went on vacation here for Labor Day 2019 during there Glow Festival. There was live music, tons of food vendors, Glow items for purchase and tons of hot air balloons. The glow ceremony was awesome...we had a blast.

Im too old and out of practice to skate with all the young kids there. But my buddy and I were blown away by how nice and huge the park was. Maybe a dawn patrol session one day.

I dont skate anymore myself, but the park has all of the things you could ask for in a skate park. Half pipes, pool type bowls, rail slide/grind opportunities. Wish I was still able to enjoy it.

This place is huge. There is literally something for everyone. My favorite parts are the sunflower park by the lake (handicap accessible and very clean overall) and the skate park. Great place to waste a day.

Nice place to visit on weekends with family also to see Prospect Lake adjacent for bird watching

Saw a beautiful fight between 2 groups of high-schoolers. It was cute

Very unsafe. No staff or anything. So not go here with any one 8lunder 12. Many Youngs kids have been hurt here. The older kids do not look out for any one. Safety is not a not a concern at this skate park when it come to kids. .I saw this first hand

Have pest control get rid of all the rats and swine and this place will once again be the beautiful spot to relax again.

Took a walk around to see what it was all about. Looks like a well maintained skate park that offers a lot of challenges for kids on skateboards, bikes, scooters.

I dont utilize this... But when I walk by it and know 20 years ago... Almost none of what is there now wasnt there. And it looks great and the people who do use it seem to Love it.

This park has a reputation of being a not so nice place due to its location. Perhaps that’s true at times but when there is a large event, it’s a nice park. If Colorado Springs city would focus more on crime and less on closing public lands to “prevent crime” this would be an even better park.

View was great, trail around a lake surrounded by mountains, and a memorial for those who served. Its a total win. The lion sculpture is incredible and the message that goes with it. Loved it.

Great park during the daylight hours. Theres multiple playgrounds for the kiddos. Work out stations along the sidewalk around the lake. Fishing, swimming, boating. Skateboard park. Something for just about anyone. N ok 5th star though because the only restrooms available are port a johns johns thatll make you wanna vomit. Thats about it. Oh, and some pretty killer scenery/views at times.

Everything is fine, they have all bright in the night and theres volleyball courts to hanging out.

Beautiful Lake

Average but lots of fun seeing people give it a shot. Sometimes they need to pay better attention to their surroundings and not just charge ahead. Parking for this area can be hit and miss. Park else where and walk there while enjoying the scenery will do your soul good. Can be a great spot for photographers with skaters needing pics with pikes peak as backdrop and after sunset so there isnt harsh shadows.

This place is nice and big, almost always crowded. I recommend going before 10am any day, but especially weekdays.

Always a fun place to skate and bike. Great safe place for youth. Wish something like this was around when I was younger.

Its peaceful for the most part. About to become my ideal workout location and saving on gym membership fees.
