Seeing one of the Simpich shows is really a treat everyone will enjoy. David Simpich is an amazing performer, and gives so much life to the puppets, its truly unbelievable to watch!

The show was unique and amazing!! We saw The Christmas Carol. They also have Art and a museum for all the doll creations.

I would be hard-pressed to find a more enjoyable experience either as a date or for a family with children. The level of artistry that goes into these Productions is absolutely phenomenal. I think that I am super happy that secret garden was the first show that I saw here. It is an amazing production and I am dying to see more as time goes on. Do not miss this opportunity if you have it.

Visited on a day with no show... yet the museum was so fascinating, two of our three (age 5-7) grandkids went through twice! :) Dolls, marionettes, and plenty of visual explanation how they were made. Oh, and wonderful mountain photography and paintings to boot!

We only visited the museum so far, as the show was sold out, but it was a gem of a little place! Looking forward to seeing a show. The kids enjoyed it because it was great to play I Spy. The details that go into the displays are so well done. It was $3 a person, and we spent about an hour enjoying the transportation into classic tales and wonderlands. There was a lot of Christmas items and turned out to be a great stop for the holidays, but could be enjoyed year round too.

If you get a chance, this is a great place to go. Great for kids and adults alike. A one-man show, and he and his wife hand make the marionettes. A unique experience in our digital age. Took my grandchildren and they absolutely loved it. The puppeteer comes from a family of doll makers, so take a moment to see the dolls his family created over the years.

The Simpich Showcase offers outstanding dramatic presentations through the medium of marionettes. David Simpich is a master puppeteer. I have been enthralled by his productions and his marionettes. Every one should see one of his shows.

What an amazing OCC treasure! The artistry of the Simpich family is such a privilege to experience. Whether it is one of their fine dolls, the museum, or the marionette theater, no trip to the Colorado Springs area is complete without a visit to a long standing Colorado Springs Tradition at the Simpich Galleries. I am so truly honored to have had a chance to see a master apply his craft. Live marionette theater is a dying art form and the one man marionette show makes it rarer still. David Simpich is a master and a visionary. Thank you David and the Simpich family for the beauty you create in this world

I absolutely adore this wonderful theater. The many different productions they offer are all excellent, but the fact they transport me back in time when I was a kid make it more special. It certainly makes this affordable entertainment something I want to do again and again.

David Simpich was at his best. I was able to catch his last show of The Puppet Maker-The Story of Christmas.

Such a treat every time we go! We all enjoy the shows and very reasonable prices for tickets.

Simpichs theater and showcase in Old Colorado City is a reality treat for any age, especially children and young people who are addicted to computers. David Simpichs live theater lets you enjoy something real and not on a screen. There are so few live entertainments left in this country, unless you live in NYC with Broadway. Give your family a real treat some afternoon, with a nearby lunch and then visit Simpichs free showcase and modestly priced live show! He brings out the kid in all of us with traditional, old time stories. You wont be disappointed!

We go to the Simpich Theater often. We LOVE it every time. NEVER disappointed. Cant recommend it enough!!!!!!

We like this theater. However, we didnt care for the Mermaid show. One reason is that Mr. Simpich did too much talking. The story line was also hard to follow.
