Comedy club with local and traveling comedians. Drinks and food are pricey. Service is slow. On my 4th trip, I was trying to figure why the bill was so high and there it was, they add 18% gratuity to the bill. And then there is a tip line under the total. Why? Why would I tip on top of the gratuity you have already allotted yourselves? So I left 15-20% gratuity the previous 3 trips and only noticed on the 4th that you leach 18% off the top. This practice is dishonest and trickery to fool tipsy customers into leaving 30-40% gratuity. So from now on, I will be crossing out the tip line under the total, if I return at all.

Such a good time. The comedians were all top notch. Particularly enjoyed Derrick Stroup.

The management and wait staff are wonderful here. They also book awesome comedians. I would rate 10/5 if I could.

First time here. Seating us close, very tight. They dont ask you if you want to sit close or far away. Theres a 2 item minimum on food, a lot of food on the menu but nothing fried. The loaded nachos didnt have a lot of meat, the chips and queso was small, came in a little cup, the hotdog came with chips a chicken quesadilla had a little bit of chicken, it came with salsa and dour cream. Lots of drinks on the menu. Prices are normal for a club between $4 for beer to $ 9 for mixed drinks. Our waitress Shimiko(? Sorry) was great! Very nice. The place is clean and everyone was super friendly.

This place is great for a laugh with friends or date night. A hair pricey, but that was sorta what we signed up for and we knew it was coming.

What a great time! My husband and I went to see a matinee at Loonees today. It was such a great venue! The staff was great and food and drinks were really reasonably priced, too! We will definitely be returning again!

Awesome for dates and girls nights. Very intimate atmosphere. Been a few times and will keep coming. Love that they bring food and drinks to your table even during the late shows. Staff is always so friendly! Ive even gotten to meet a few of the performers after the show, for selfies and autographs!

We have gone several times now and it is a great place. There is everything from amateur comedians to very famous ones. Its fun to be able to see some of the bigger comedians in a smaller setting.

Great place to relax and unwind. I’ve probably been here 20 times or so and I’ve never had a bad experience. The comedy style is hit or miss based on your style but that’s to be expected. The food and drinks are good. If you or your friends win free tickets go check it out.

Not main attraction, Mullet Man, was the best show of the night!! Headliners was good, also on Bob n Tom show.Waitresses do an excellent job of taking care of everyone.

Not a bad way to pass the time. Keep in mind that you do need to buy a minimum of two drinks while you are there. I was the DD that day and still had to buy two drinks, however they aloud me to get cokes. Your experience may very depending on the comedian on stage, but never the less we had a great time.

Loved this place Eric the owner is a super cool guy with an amazing place. The lineup was killer, Jonny Bratsveen was hilarious! Pretzel was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend this place if you want a good laugh.

A friend and I were there Friday December 6, 2019 for the Slade Ham & Sam Demaris USO show and we found both comedians to be very funny which made for a great experience and a fun evening. The comedy club itself is clean, roomy, has a good sound system, delicious food and drinks and friendly staff... Ill be sure to go back and highly recommend it for a fun night out!

Great act + good food = a fun night. We won free tickets to see the comedian Alvin Williams. He was hilarious and the opening acts were funny too. My wife and I had an amazing night. We definitely recommend.

Been to Loonees several times and always enjoyed ourselves with cold brews and hot appetizers. Staff were friendly and attentive; not just for my table but for every table in the club. Made me feel like they cared. The entertainment is always fresh, unpredictable and explicit, which is the way it should be. It looks like they recently renovated the stage area and it looks cleaner and modern but still maintaining its seedy speak easy look outside. Would recommend this establishment to all adults.

Not too expensive of a cover or for food and drinks. Easy to see the comedian and enjoy the night out. The building is simple to navigate.There is a bar at the main entrance if you just wanted to sit there and hang out. In the comedy room, there is a 2 item minimum per person. The menu is not over the top but they sell pretty much anything you would find at a bar minus wings.

Be prepared for the 2 ITEM minimum (I downed 2 strawberry margaritas but I probably couldve gotta one drink with a pretzel). The host and comedians were hilarious! I cant wait to go back!!

Its on the smaller side so no bad seats. The comics they bring in are funny. They brought in Josh Blue last year, that was a real treat! One thing to know, they have a 2 item minimum per person. The 2 items can be any combination of alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks and food. The food is limited to appetizers and sandwiches. Great way to spend a Friday or Saturday night!

One of THE MOST pleasing stages to perform on in the U. S.! Stage is high above the crowd and there is not a bad seat in the joint! Staff is friendly and they are in the middle of an interior remodel as of this writing! NO CHANGES to be made to the stage!Hang out with the comedians after the show in the bar that stays open late and chat! Remember, we are visiting, so visit with us! NINJA, PLEASE!

Funny comedians every time. Great food and drinks. If you like something fruity I recommend the liquid marijuana, it is delicious. Cheap prices and well worth a Saturday night out with friends.

The comedians were excellent. They said things most of us consider taboo. The actual seating area lobby and restrooms were clean and tidy.Now for the critical the interior seemed like it could be renewed a little for flash and that nice newer look.

Attended the Gateway show and had a blast. There was an extra comic they had make an appearance that didnt attend the second half, but still got some extra laughs out of it. The drinks were decently priced, the pretzel was great, good time all around.

Always fun. Great night of entertainment, drinks and decent food. For us, its way more fun and about the same price as a steakhouse. The food at a steakhouse is better, but I prefer observational comedy to the Happy Birthday chants that make a steakhouse night out loud and obnoxious.

We had some great comedians, and all the staff were super nice and attentive. The only thing that got me is the 2 item minimum. Its one thing to require a minimum item count, but its another thing when the food sucks. The drinks were great though, so that makes up for it. Theyre a little expensive for the kind of place it is, but they tasted great and were inventive as well. Overall a good experience, and despite how seedy the place looks both inside and out, its a fun time.

I was impressed! Comedy was top notch despite being small time. Minus a star because service could be better and weird billing practice. An 18% gratuity is built into the price and then the receipt has a blank for an additional tip. Not cool.

Incredibly slow staff. We wanted to get more drinks and to do some more food and the waitress kept forgetting to bring us stuff we already had ordered so by the time she remembered the show was over. And gratuity was added to our bills when there were only four of us and the menu says they will add for parties of six or more. I felt like she knew poor tips were coming and got defensive when we asked about it.

Its a comedy club so theres plenty to love! And for a smaller venue in central Colorado Springs they bring in some great talent from around the country. There is a 2 item minimum order per person. The drinks are a little on the expensive side and they food is mediocre with a menu that favors simple bar type selections such sandwiches or fried options. Overall, I still recommend this place because its the best comedy club in Colorado Springs and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Want a night out with your significant other, night out with the boys, or a girls night, birthday celebration pick the best time slot and spend some time laughing your a$$ off. You have to be 21 to get in but thats because all the alcohol that you can choose from. They serve special drinks and special character food items. Ive been a few times filled out a comment card won free tickets in for 10. Comedians come from all over and they even have hilarious home town artist too. I always leave with a permanent grin and side split from laughing so hard. Definitely recommend.

Hidden gem! My wife and I spontaneously decided to go to a comedy show and they did a great job! Great comedy! The drinks were not badly priced and the food is typical bar food. We made reservations for next week because we were pleasantly surprised!

Wonderful show. Great atmosphere. Hypnomania was hilarious and each show is unique because the cast is volunteers from the audience. I have to edit this review because this is the 4th time I have gotten watered down drinks. I do not drink often and one night 4 long-island ice teas and I felt zero buzz. Again tonight we ordered two of the same drinks and the one we ordered as a double was weaker than the single. Here you can expect great comedy but I would stick to ordering bottled beer for an alcoholic drink.

The experience was ok. The building is older including the entire interior. I liked all the signed photos of comedians whom have made appearances that was a neat feature. The show we saw was mostly funny. The tables were like clustered together especially the further back into the room it went which was kinda annoying cause we arrived a little bit late and detangled the chairs drew attention from others trying to enjoy the show. Personally if I knew as a host that there would be a show I would make sure to have the room set up for any number of people to arrive prior so they arent being disruptive. But beside that it was a decent experience Id go back.

The staff at Loonees are attentive and friendly. The drink prices are reasonable and I always order a BLT. The bacon is crispy which is how I like it. The venue can hold a large crowd and the vibes are always good.

Had a lot of fun! The comedians were very funny and the atmosphere was nice. The service was okay I suppose... My food came out pretty late (one soft pretzel) even after the table next to me who ordered about ten mins after I did. The server acted like I was being impatient...then my food was cold too after waiting so long ... Idk not the best service but who knows maybe she was having a bad night. Drinks seemed a little stingy. Overall it was alright! The comedians really made the experience what it was though. (Had free ticket which influenced the rating quite a bit)
