Lakeview Park

Nice place to put in kayak or canoe, but stay away from overflow dam. Low bridge at top end of lake, but peaceful river beyond. It seems to flood a lot here and the park is in need of some attention, but there is a bathroom and paved parking.

I love the view since I went in fall. Needs a little TLC. Other than that its pretty.

Cute for a very small park. A small playground and walking trail along the water. A pavilion and picnic tables. Not much & located in an odd spot but pretty.

Nice quite place to fish, relax, take the children to play, and bathrooms are okay.

Love going soon there to have lunch. It is peaceful. Trails to walk around. Small jungle gym for children.

Peaceful and serene

So pretty, good for family days. Bring a fishin rod, a cooler full of snacks and be one with nature. Oh, and theres a playground for the kiddos to combat their boredom

Nice place to take the family for a picnic, but you must rent the pavilion with the city rec department. Fishing is done here, but must have a license. Playground area, and hiking trails.

Awsome place

I have only been to Lakeview park like about two times but its a nice place. It gets pretty during sun set. Good to walk your dog around and they have a playground and stuff. Overall pretty cool

I only caught one small brim, but this is a very convenient & well created park for the area ! I dont want everyone to go rushing to this park because it only has one small boat ramp for self propelled water craft ! No motors is my understanding ! Hours open to the public are from sunrise to sunset. A great place for picnics and hiking, but warnings are posted that alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park ! I have to warn you about the fishing close to the bank because turtles rule to about 12 to 18 ft out? Otherwise this is an excellent place for picnics with shelters,a play area for the kids,park benches line the shoreline and parking for about 20 vehicles and one handicapped spot. Ok, youre welcome & please try to ahere to fish catch limits & throw the little ones back, because I want to try fishing here again !

This is a cute little park that is never crowded. There is a play ground and picnic area. Public restrooms and is pretty good for fishing. I do wish the tennis courts were still open. I used to enjoy playing tennis there. I also wish it had a nature trail. There isnt really anywhere to go for a walk at.

Lakeview park is small in comparison to others in the area. The playground was in great condition and my kids did enjoy it. It is pirate ship themed. The trails were more mud than anything. Pretty view of the lake. I did not see any bathrooms, though. Parking was paved and seemed ample. Not a lot of traffic here.

Nice potential, Why is the boat launch located at the Dam? The path was flooded, trash in parking lot. Come on CH

Beautiful views of the water, and there is a jungle gym for kids but there isnt any trails if that is what you are after.

We had a blast! The optimist club put on a kids event that my girls really enjoyed! Loads of fun, a couple of piers, a couple of bridges, and plenty of places to go fishing!

It was very shady thank goodness cause do hot that day. Went for a childs bday party. Since they had scheduled a party their you would have thought the people taking care of park would of cleaned it up!

Nice picnic pavilion and small playground for smaller children with restrooms available. On a lake with smaller fish but plenty of room to take a kid fishing!

The playground is kinda small but its nice. Not many trails and the lake has been over fiahed. The best part of lakeview park is talking to the older gentlemen that sit down there.
