Annual doggy bash was great! Probably could have used some dog savvy employees who knew how to close a gate when you have 30 loose dogs running around, though, but this was the first one... Hopefully they will learn from the oops moments next year!

I havent used the pool but have used the meeting room. Its very nice, lots if chairs and tables available and a small kitchenette. It has a large counter which is great for buffet style serving and a decorated concrete floor which is easy to clean. Heated and air conditioned with a well lit parking lotBike path adjacent with a nice pond outside.

Love the variety of things for different ages. I wish the lifeguards payed better attention though. i had to run in after my child (with a life jacket on) flipped over and couldnt get back upright.

Love this pool! It’s great for any ages too. My 2 year old loves the slides and the splash area! My husband and I love the lazy river and big slides.

My wife and I have visited the Clive Aquatic Center a few times and really liked it. It wasnt too crowded later in the day and we like the fact that kids were kept to their own area, so we could relax a bit more. My wife likes the lap pool and Im more of a lazy river kind of guy. Something for everyone

Best hidden place in Clive. Had 1H of a time finding it. Was ready to turn around and go back home.

The Aquatic Center in Clive is it good swimming pool to go to. Its got a childrens area two water slides a tube that drops into 13 ft of water diving board very good place to take your children and family. Oh yeah it has a lazy river to that you can ride a tube down a place that you can get snacks food and drinks shower area dressing and it is handicap accessible.

Awesome place to hit on a hot day. Really enjoyed the lazy river.

Nice clean pool. There are different pool areas to appeal to your different desires. Diving, deeper swimmer, shallow swimmers, spalsh pad, lazy river and squirt cannon court.

My family loves spending time here. There is stuff for every age. The staff are helpful. The concession stand is reasonable. We like to go in the afternoon or evening because it is less busy and easier to get chairs.

Ample amount of parking, a good variety of options to snack on from concessions, clean. The lazy river could be longer. Need more shaded areas, or options to rent umbrella shades for moms with babies.

This place is relatively close to us even though we are in Urbandale. Because of this we have to pay $6.00 each or $170.00 for 2 season passes. Our grandson is free. We opted for the season passes for my wife and daughter in law. As I dont particularly enjoy being out in the sun that much I just pay the 6.00 when I go. There are plenty of places in the shade.The place is pretty large and there are both an adult pool as well as a large wading pool. There is also a place with water cannons so you can have a blast quite literally.Its a great place to take the kids.

Great place for a swim, but it gets crowded quickly. Certain times of the day you can wait if a long line but other times u can just go right in. The lazy river water droplets are broken and the lazy river gets over crowded quickly where u have no space and constantly running into other people. But as time gets later, more and more people leave so you can have more space. They do need to add more shade and seats though, if your there to relax for a bit after some swimming, you may have to lay on the ground in the sun, or if ur lucky u can get a chair or a chair that can lay down is lucky.

Great pool. Swim lessons fill up extremly fast. We took a summer full of lessons with Miss Clair. If shes not going into a child based career, she should. She is phenomenal!!

Great lazy river and plenty of fun slides. There is a great mixture of water activities for all ages and is separated well for that. The concessions arent marked up crazily like most places

Clive Aquatic Center was great. 3 stars because they had to close the pool early today due to not being able to see the bottom. On the plus side, we got passes to come back another day. First weekend opening problems I suppose.

Have not been there in years, was forced to go regularly during summer child-care programs back in the day. Unless it was 100+ degrees out, the water would be, without fail, cold as balls. Unbearable. That being said, on the days when it was hot as hell, it was pretty darn pleasant.

A comfortable place to go swim and feel safe. Life guards every where. Very friendly staff. Grassy area to lounge in ...Like the slides the lazy river and that adults could still swim during pool breaks...

There are really nice baby and toddler areas, a separate lap pool, huge slides, and a lazy river. The baby and toddler areas generally have babies and toddlers and some younger kids who are conscious of the little kids who cant swim. Everything is really clean, the lifeguards are vigilant, and the cost is fair for what you get.

Great place to spend a warm afternoon. Lots of fun options from the water guns to the splash pad, lazy river and several water slides.

We have a pool a few blocks away and still drive to Clive to go to their aquatic center. The smaller kids area is awesome and perfect for my 2 year old to play in and not worry about getting pushed down, etc.

Had a good experience, price is fair, pools are well maintained, lifeguards were always on the lookout, no accidents while i was there. Wish snack bar had pizza though, its about the only food my daughter will eat. Would definitly go back for some family fun.

Was suppose to be there for a Personal Safety and Self Defense Class, but it was moved across the street at the Clive Library.

My kids love this place. Water slides, spray park for little kids, pools. Plus plenty of shades for grown ups wanting to stay out of the sun.

So much to do and worth the price. They did close off a very large section of the kids area so that was disappointing.

Rude life guards who treat grown adults as if they are kids who cant swim. Adult time is a joke the multiple life guards sit at their posts and do nothing but stare and goof off during adult time but apparently can not handle one adult swimming in the deepend. They turn the slides off now and claim 3 life guards have to watch one diving board with hardly anyone or nobody on it most of the time. I watched 3 life guards just sitting at their posts joking with eachother nobody was in the pool and they claimed adults cant swim back and forth because they are only to watch the diving board but the life guards can get in the deepend and goof off laughing and messing around thats great glad they are paid for this. This pools is a joke for 8 dollars a complete joke if you are an adult and actually want to swim.

I have been here many times. Always pleased.
