Love this space. Excellent food right next door. Playwrights Local produces outstanding plays by local playwrights. Bravo!

Waterloo arts has fantastic gallery space, but the best thing about it for me is that it is the performing space for Playwrights Local. This organization is all about promoting local ne Ohio playwrights, and producing staged readings and full shows, holding workshops, and developing new work. They are fast growing in the Cleveland theatre scene, and made a splash with an original play about the Tamir Rice shooting (Objectively Reasonable) that was directed by Terrence Spivey. It is also close to great local eateries and just down the street from the Beachland Ballroom.

Had a great time at a DayGlo gallery!!! We painted then went into the adjacent Jamaican bar and ate jerk wings,which they were makinng on the grill(dead of winter!)and danced to the Blues Chronicles. Love,love,love Waterloo.shout out to Jerrt Schmidt, a must see metal arts gallery!!!!
