I always feel welcome when I come to Ross Norton. Both the workers and the fellow patrons are all very friendly. Facility is in good shape. A good place to get much-needed Recreation these days

Awesome place for fun and kids. Makes for a good family day, a lot for the kids to do including swimming, splash pad, skate park and a nice walk around the lake. Nice staff and football games and basketball games and baseball games by the neighborhood kids every weekend. Its nice and interactive. They even offer a summer camp for the kids there too!

They have a nice side walk around the lake for exercise or jogging. They have free exercise equipment out on the park yard. They even have horseshoes at a club. At the rec center theres a large swimming pool with a water slide and also a skateboard area with ramps and such. Theres even a nice playground for the kids. This is a great place to take the dogs for a walk period on the other side of the lake to have a horseshoe tournament where you can even practice and participate. I just saw a sign that you need to beware of alligators there may be some in the lake. But there is a nice fence playground for the children to play at and have a picnic.

First time here! LoveED it. My 2 year old couldnt stop going on the kiddie pool slide, she must have gone 200 times+. Tjere are 3 pools here: kiddie pool with water features and water slide, there is a 2 1/2 -3 foot small pool where part is roped off for the kids over 8 to fall into from the giant water slide, and the laps pool. Theres enough shaded places for parents to escape the sun and music playing on speakers. They have 10 minute breaks to switch out the life guards I think every hour or so. We really liked it -alot! Bring snacks, lunch and drinks. So much fun today! I wish i would of gotten more pics of the place today to show.

Great place to visit nice Recreation Center you can walk around the lake theres even an enclosed playground for kids great place to bring your dogs handicap accessible parking plenty of parking for everyone. Swimming pool for kids if they have a slide weight room indoors. They even have exercise equipment outside if you dont want to pay for membership. I dont think memberships are required but they are accessible

ROSS NORTON REC CENTER IS THE PLACES TO VISIT AND HAVE EVENTS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, THE STAFF THERES GIVE YOU THE BEST ADVICE AND HELP ANY WAY THEY CAN TO MAKE SURE WHATEVER YOU NEED IS PROVIDED. The price is great too,did I mention the lake, very nice.

Nice place to visit

Had a wonderful time with my family there. Its a nice and inexpensive place to have a function at. I would recommend this location if youre on a budget but still want something nice. You can decorate the location anyway that you like.

Some of the best quarters in the area. Not the best park overall BUT theres shade, cold water in the fountain, almost never packed and only $2! Thats a steal.

I have no idea how this place is as a rec center. I went there because it is my polling place, and it was election day.Actually got upset because my new address is Clearwater, Florida, but they wouldnt let me vote in the Clearwater city elections. Seems I live in unincorporated Clearwater, and thus am ineligible to vote in city elections. Doesnt seem legal to me, but what do I know?Oh, the rec center appeared to be clean and well appointed.

This is a really nice recreational stock. They have a recreation building along with a nice pool. Theres lots of things that you can do here to enjoy your day

Coach Stu taught baseball here twenty years ago. Great memories. Went back last night and it looks like everything has been upgraded. Glad to see this place is being taken care of.

Nice open area with lots to do. Occasional festivals there. Kid friendly with tons of fun. And safe. Got a extra day you want to spend outside with kids having fun. This is the place to go.

By favorite place to shop.they always have everything I need

I am one of the teachers of the monthly first time home buyers classes held here. Its a lovely facility with a nice size meeting room. The pool and gym area look nice, but I have not had the pleasure of using any of the amenities.

Went here to reserve the center for my reception on November 16. It was already reserved for that day, but the supervisor Ramon made accommodation so we could also rent it out for our big day.

There is a basketball court, weight room, a court yard and a few classrooms. I only use the facility to attend a class. But Ive been in this building a few times, the security is always good. As you walk in the staff is right at the desk. The parking lot is dark. Thats the only criticism I have.

This is a great place to bring the whole family. All around activities, kids playgrounds, swimming pool, skate park, weight room and more. Right on beautiful lake.

My baby girl loves her karate class and Pilates too.

It was a really nice center. The center had lots of things to do on a regular day of not playing basketball.

Yes we love this place! The playground is nice and clean and the lake next to it invites to exercise, biking and walking. Great place!Update: obviously we used to love this place, however, early in the morning (around 9am) you will find youngsters smoking pot here. Also, the after-school program has some really rude (older) kids (yelling, using inappropriate language incl the f-word in front of little kids and flicking people off), I guess the supervision stops at 545pm and after that the kids are just by themselves. Weve been here now multiple times in the morning cleaning up the trash. It is really disturbing and unsafe. Its sad that we have to go to Largo Park now instead of this little place that is just around the corner.

I visit this place for a religious function it was very informative very spiritual and left me with a good feeling

Staff at the desk was friendly and very respectfull. They called me sir and I thought that was nice. We came to treasure island for a family vacation and also for our 3 boys to experience different skateboard parks in Florida. This place is a hidden gem. Our boys had the entire park to themselves and it is very clean. The $2 per child entrance fee is a bargain compared to the $8 per person at the Spot skate park in Tampa which is also a nice place to skate for more advanced skateboarders. Highly recommend this park which also has baseball field, 2 indoor basketball courts and aquatic center!

Exercise equipment needs updating and repair but it is a very nice facility. The walk around the lake is very very nice.

Good staff

Paying for an annual membership is definitely not worth my time if the centers seem to frequently reserve most of the spaces for special guests and having regular members find out by showing up and being turned away surprisingly. Thank goodness I didnt pay for an entire year. It would have definitely been a big loss for me.

Clean and presentable, plenty of area space for people to engage in activities and conversation. Kids have more than enough activities to participate in.

Pool, small waterslide and kiddie area. Just wish they had annual passes for non-residents a lot cheaper than $400+.

The area is one of the worse in Clearwater, However the rec center is soon becoming a good rec to go to for basketball tournament and events, mainly do to the new supervisor!

Never knew this place existed until I had to staff it as an emergency shelter. It is very nice, very clean and has many great features. Plus the pricing is so low that anyone could afford a day there if they wanted.

Home for the best table tennis players in the state. Wednesday nights, Sunday afternoon.

Great playground, but soda cans on ground everywhere. My grandson and I picked up 5!

The lifeguards this year suck the say the pool is open at a certain time but their not out doin their job plus when your trying to go to another part of the pool you must wait till another lifeguard is there watching you and that takes them around 10min bc their too busy talkin in their office to each other and the pool are dirty plus their bathrooms and you MUST have your passes or the front ppl give you an attitude.

Its pretty stupid how this entire part of this state doesnt allow Bmx bikes, so this park as a few more park only allow Bmx bikes on certain days and 1 or 2 says out of the week.
