CCHR is an Organization that exists to ensure our freedoms and human rights! These rights are violated by mental health facilities who are masquerading as real help each and every day. They also work tirelessly to enact legislation that maintain these freedoms and especially to protect families and children. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will assist anyone who has been victimized! There is REAL HELP here.
I had the chance to tour this place in the summer the people there were extremely helpful and friendly. They answered my questions and didn’t make me uncomfortable asking even the “silly questions” definitely made me feel like I should do something!Go you are considering a visit.....just go! You won’t be disappointed!
Working to increase awareness of needed reform, and helping those with urgent issues.
There is one major thing one can do to change the course of the downward spiral that earth is facing. And that is supporting human rights and supporting the only legitimate watchdog over the political psychiatric community -- The Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida! I support this group with every breath of my being. Mental health is and should never be a political issue.

Amazing place! Do the tour, Its a life changing look at the history of Psychiatry!
I have been acquainted with CCHR for more than 30 years. There is no other organization that is as effective as they are or as dedicated as they to cleaning up the field of mental health and fighting against mental health abuses.
The integrity and competence of the employees and volunteers of this group is commendable.
CCHR helps free the field of mental health from abuse,. maltreatment and harmful practices.
CCHR is the voice for those who have their rights taken away by the psychiatric patients-for-profit scam.
Its an excellent place, and what they do to help people is excellent!!!
Its a nonprofit organization that exposes and helps bring to Justice cases of abuse and corruption in the field of mental health. It is actually one of those Organizations that has our backs while we walk along carefree and even complacent in life, turning our sights away from atrocities that are occurring in our own backyards, and that at the most unexpected moment might knock on our doors. Brave people, heroes, that dedicate their lives to others - to strangers, and expect nothing in return, but our wellbeing. The museum tells the true story of the constant intervention of Psychiatrists in our society and history, in their attempts to control the fate of mankind, to gain power over a majority, in favor of a cruel minority that will have no repair or stop in their methods. The place is impeccably clean, the presentation is professional and thorough, laid out in images, boards, and a series of videos that uncover how Psychiatric Practice has stumped over human beings and affected this civilization for over a century. Its an eye opener. Who developed torture? Who concocted the philosophy behind Nazism and forwarded the execution of the Final Solution? Who turned off the light on so many shining stars such as Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson? Who mutilates the future of hundreds of children, daily, worldwide? Go and find out who is the Enemy Within, in CCHR.
Great place to learn what can be done to prevent rampant abuse in the Mental Health industry
The informational museum was eye opening, to say the least. Citizens Commission on Human Rights.
Totally fascinating video presentations about human rights violations in the mental health field and how abusers are being brought to justice. Definitely worthwhile to visit this modern and attractive center, always open to the public. Staff is hospitable and informative.
Extremely grateful to all of those involved in CCHR and are exposing the truth. Problems within our mental health care system must be identified and addressed in order to form a uniform advocacy agenda that will advance best-practice standards of care. CCHR is at the forefront of bringing to light much needed change.
I got a tour of CCHR Florida and was shocked at the wealth of information they make available to people. Ive always known there was something fishy about psychiatry, but the amount of information, tools, and resources available at this center was amazing. Its worth everyone to check out... the more you know, the more likely you wont be victimized by human rights abuses that unfortunately happen everyday.
Lots of interesting information regarding mental health care.
CCHR is so helpful and informative. My grandmother was in a nursing home. She started acting crazy and erratic and when I investigated I found out that she was put on psych drugs without them even informing me (Im the power of attorney) The psych drugs that were supposed to handle some anxiety that I never saw her exhibit, actually made her act like she had psych problems. CCHR helped me to get her off of them and get that mental health nurses license notated that she prescribed my grandmother these psyche meds without consulting the power of attorney (me). We got her off of the psych drugs and she became my sweet, sane gram again. Thank you CCHR for your vast knowledge on the effects of these dangerous drugs that the field of psychiatry seems so bent on forcing on people.
They help a lot of people who are in trouble with psychiatric issues or the children are on Ritalin
Protecting peoples civil and human rights against the abuses of the psychiatric industry. I grateful that such an organization exists and is so readily accessible. Good volunteers, great information and a terrific, multi-media museum.
