Municipal Park

Its a basic park. The best thing about it its usually quiet. Not many people go here because of its lack of fun. But hey if you just need a swirly slide, monkey bars and swings then all is well. Youll enjoy it.

Simple little park... Clean & lots of space. Has a few swings, sliding board & climbing areas. I think she had a lot of fun!

Clayton has a plethora of nice parks. This one is the oldest. Theres some playground equipment here, but its geared towards sports and team activities. Its a nice quiet place during a weekday, good for dog walking and just taking a stroll. On the weekends its much busier.

This is our first time to the playground at this park. It definitely needs a little TLC (wiggly boards, sharp exposed metal) but other than that it is a nice little park we never knew was right here in downtown Clayton. Though while they have baby swings, this playground is definitely more for older kids who can climb.

A great park, clean, with ample parking and seating for spectators. Many bring their own lawn chairs and sit in the shade. The concession stand is great with lots of selections, from popcorn and big, soft pretzels to blow pops and cheesy nachos. And the prices cant be beat!

Love the basketball court here.

They did an extraordinary job fixing the baseball field for little league play. I enjoy coming to baseball practices with my son.

Clean and well kept, but very dated and sparse equipment for little kids to play on.

Kids had a blast not 1 boring moment. Plenty of jungle gym equipment for the kids. Definitely give it a whirl. Yes there are others out there that are better but this ones not bad at all.

Its a great park but wvery time i go the bathrooms are locked.

Fireworks are amazing! And boy does clayton know how to put on a show!

Very hot! They do have a water fountain/pump available. Kept clean. A nice place to have a picnic or watch baseball.

Archer lodge does better work than Clayton with fireworks.

I just went today at around 3:00. It was nice and sunny. Now if its summer there isnt really enough shaded areas on the playground section so thats a bit of a negative. Also, the basketball area was full of ppl and there wasnt anyone cursing but thats going to depend on the ppl playing. We just focused primarily on the kid swings since we have twin 15month olds. They enjoyed the swings even though theyre still a little too smal for them. But the neighborhood was nice and quiet and seemed pretty safe. Well be going back in the spring and summer.

A variety of vendors from food to arts and crafts very pleasant visit and will be there today.
