I love going to Atlantis water park does anyone why it closed so if any one knows why the water park closed let me know

For the cost, this place is great! Its not too crowded and has a great kids area. Its small but if youre wanting something less involved and cheaper than Kentucky Kingdom, try this place.

Only 1 star because its closed. By the looks of things it has been closed for over a year. See pics below definitely has not been maintenanced in a very long time.

Great place - clean and fun. Food is good. A couple tips: the pavement is very hot and we also got a lot of sun quickly. You dont need to rent tubes for the slides, only for the wave pool. Its great as is, but it would be greater if they would add to the features there at some point cause my kids are ready to leave within a couple hours.

Enjoyed the time at the water park.very reasonable priced..we had a great time been here several times.4 water slides.. the wave pool.. small kid section..it all was used and enjoyed

I went last year when my son was smaller and it was very open and not crowded at all. There was plenty of shade and picnic tables. It was overall and fun experience.

The water park is not very clean. While in the changing area of the bathroom, one of my sisters found a used tampon on the floor. In another one of the dressing rooms there was underwear on the floor. Additionally, the steps leading up to the slides are gross and are in need of being thoroughly rinsed off.

I only went there once in 2012. In 2017, the place was shut down.

This place looks abandoned. There is no water in the pools, the parking lot is full of RVs for the store across the street.It is not open and does not appear that it will ever open again.

Perfect for kids and adults. Good security and clean. The popcorn chicken is garbage though, everything else was good.

A hidden treasure! u cant find places like this..and omg for the price! we are from Florida and this is a mothers dream come true.. no lines to wait in and not packed so you feel safe!! awesome park.. clean and plenty of life guards!!

Decent enough place for the family. Wave pool and slides. Usually not crowded. This used to be called Wavetech years ago.

This place is great and a good value for locals. Prices kinda ridiculous for out of towners though. Cant bring in your own food or drink :/

Atlantis is good for family fun. The waterslides are suprisingly large for a park of this size. We had a great time.

Everything is awesome. Pay no attention to the anonymous google user negative comments. Those are competitor park people trying to disuade people from this park. The price compared to what they have is far superior to the Holiday and Adventure themed destinations.

Do not make the trip. They are not open. There are signs saying Not open for the season and pool closed posted at the gates with another company that sells RVs using the parking lot. Even a few blocking the entrance. The grass is overgrown everywhere and the picnic tables are turned over on each other.

Great place for day of family fun. Prices arent showing on website, but its $8 weekdays, and $10 weekends and holidays Very affordable, clean, and fun place!

I like that the place had big slides and the wave. A very good place to get out of the house

My family is interested in visiting a new water park. After doing a web search, we were quite interested in Atlantis.As we are from Louisville, Ky., Atlantis could be a day trip for us.**Please understand Im not giving an one star rating due to a dissatisfied visit to this waterpark but instead the difficulty in getting pertinent information that was not listed on their website. I called the number that was listed on their site and was greeted by a recording of a voice that was not very coherent and it was very difficult to decipher the words. After calling back several times I could understand I was being given another phone number to call. I then had to call back a couple of times to make out the phone number in which was given.I was at work and on my break and after the run around, I had no time left to call the different number.Hopefully, when I call the other number, I will be able to speak to a real person and not another distorted recording.I suggest Atlantis Waterpark to post on their website the main business number in which talking to a live person is a option. I feel having easier access to more information would make it more desirable for possible visitors such as my family to the visit Atlantis.Hopefully I will be able to reach someone that can give me the information my family needs to visit Atlantis.If we are secure in the customer service we receive over the phone and the information meets our needs, we will happily visit Atlantis. Afterwards, I will give another rating.Thank you.

I have not been to the park and may never get to go. I have looked every where I know to look and have called the # listed on their web site and FB page for prices and cant find out anything. I live in Louisville and dont want to make that drive only to find it to expensive for my family. When you call the # you get a recording that doesnt really give any information.

Took my 1 yr old to the pool for the very first time and he had a blast despite the cold water ..small downside is there were a lot of sampler kids under 4 who were constantly startled by bigger kids playing, maybe there could be another area sectioned off for them

Sad we didnt get a chance to visit your park. We are from out of town and were looking forward to visiting. Sadly they are closed and with no update anywhere that says you are. This includes your website, phone message, facebook. Even your sign at the side of the street says you are open, but the gates are locked.
