I have been going to the CPS since 1975 & havent missed a year yet & the best part about the Circleville Pumpkin Show is that its FREE for the whole family to come & enjoy in October so come & grab yourself a cup of hot coffee & try a pumpkin doughnut & walk around town & enjoy the evening at the Circleville Pumpkin Show, You wont be disappointed.

Great time. Great setup. Super crowded as is to be expected. Everything was great here. I enjoyed it, bought some awesome pumpkins to carve. Didnt go on any of the rides but definitely seemed like a ton of fun

We moved to Ohio 3 years ago from Florida. I miss all the holiday/seasonal things to do. I found this to be a wonderful festival to enjoy with my whole family.

This was great fun for me & family members!It was fun seeing the giant pumpkins! I even bought seeds so I can try growing a giant pumpkin next year!We chose this one because of all the hype & yes, it was fun BUT this was at least a 3.5 hr drive from me so next year ill check out another thats a little closer! (Maybe even take pics & do reviews!)

I kept seeing pictures and said we have to go here. We drove the almost 3 hours and was pretty disappointed. The fall day was beautiful so that was nice but it was nothing but food trucks and rides. The middle of the main Street had the large pumpkins but nothing really pumpkin related, nothing saying, its fall!

Very fun. A lot of food trucks. I went for the vendors but there wasnt many like I intispeted there would be. But still fun and worth checking out.

Best festival to visit. No festival keeps to the theme better! You want pumpkin flavor, you got it. Pumpkin burgers, pumpkin coneys, pumpkin kettle corn and list goes on and on!

Fun to go too there are rides and all the food is made out of pumpkin but the food is still good.

It has been 15 years since I have been here and I had a really nice time.

I love to go to the Pumpkin Show every year. There are parades and food and exhibition. It is a great time to see friends and make new ones. There are rides for all ages.

The Circleville Pumpkin show is an EXPERIENCE. Go on Friday or Saturday night, enjoy some delicious food and try to catch the parades. I highly recommend the pumpkin pizza. It is a semi sweet but not too sweet pizza with pumpkin and a little bit of sugar. It sounds weird, but I promise you wont be disappointed.

Ive being coming to the Circleville Pumpkin Show most of my life. I always seem to have a great time. The weather was perfect today, so the crowd was huge! Come early! Bring your appetite!

Small town festival done in a big way. Great food vendors featuring pumpkin sone every way possible (pumpkin pizza, sloppy joes, and deep fried pumpkin pies are my faves) plus other food delights.Add in crafts, games, and rides. Parades, babies, bands, and, of course, PUMPKINS!We love this fall festival and we travel from PA every year to enjoy it.Highly recommend.

Love it! Every year we have a blast! My daughter was in little miss and was a finalist! We love the food, the parades, rides, the booths, etc. Its like everyone is a big family. I absolutely love it!

Great Time! My family and I walked the streets of Circleville and looked at all the pumpkins and shoppes that had hand crafted items. Super interesting and different! They have pumpkin everything! I specially had pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin chicken sand which, pumpkin donuts and pumpkin pie. The home made old fashioned chicken and noodles that sit in an alley way by the shoppes..... TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A neat experience to do at least once. There is literally everything you can think of pumpkin to eat. They have rides and center stage events. But really most of it is just food vendors, like lots and lots of them.

I go to the pumpkin show every year! Love eating pumpkin everything and shopping around. I got a new winter hat this year! Everyone should go at least once!

SO MANY FOOD VENDORS! I ate until I was going to explode! Lol. I really enjoyed the MANY marching bands in the parade. This is a really super event with FREE entry. We got lucky and found free parking really close too. Favorite food of the night was.... I cant choose! I had a walking taco, an ear of corn, chicken & noodles, pumpkin mini donuts, & a pizza slice. (And shared some bourbon chicken with the hubs) The worst thing I got was a pumpkin waffle. I threw it away after 2 bites. I bought some wool mittens/gloves for $10 and they seem like they will last a while and are very warm.

Awesome festival! There are so many pumpkin flavored treats to choose from! Great crafts, and amazing small town atmosphere!

This show was great fun. I saw all kinds of pumpkins and all kinds of people. The place was packed later in the day, but if you get there early you can miss most of the crowding. I ate some strange foods like gator-on-a-stick.

I loved going to this, and this year we took my granddaughter. They had everything and it was such a nice day. I love going to see how big the pumpkins are. They get bigger every year. The things you can see at the pumpkin show, you wont see anywhere else. If you get a chance to go to the Circleville Pumpkin Show next year please go and take your friends, family and mostly your children they will love it!

A family tradition since I was young has now become a fun tradition for my children. The Pumpkin Show certainly kicks the holiday seasons off for us.

The pumpkin festival is a great family attraction in Circleville, OH. It has plenty of food options. the pumpkin float, donuts, and capuccinos are very good! There are also turkey legs, kettle corn and salt water taffy. There are also rides and games to play for the whole family. There are also parades and floats featuring local companies, pets and people.

Definitely family friendly, a ton of foods and crafts all over, rides for kids and adults. Down side good luck finding parking anywhere and it is crazy gettin town with all the traffic

Great people watching. Actual entertainment was minimal unless you count just the atmosphere of the event. It was an okay time but it did feel overcrowded with the traditional town festival vending. It was worth the trip once to see what it was all about. Be aware of traffic, only one road in and out and the highway basically shuts down at times. parking is also an issue, just find street parking and walk as people charge a lot to park in their yards closer to the event.

I love the pumpkin show! I started going 10yrs ago, and now that I have kids it is something they can enjoy as well! Love the vendors and the food and the different ways they infuse pumpkin into almost everything! Its a last ditch effort if you didnt make it to the summer fairs or festivals but has just a bit more flare than the both of those put together! If you never experienced it, you should!

Greatest free show out there. It gets bigger & better every year. Some of the most magnificent squash carving in the United States. Lots an lots of great food, so many things to see such as the gigantic pumpkin pie, the enormous squashes, gourds of every shape size color and kind imaginable. Pumpkin food for everyone such as pumpkin doughnuts, pumpkin waffles, pumpkin chilli, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin fudge, pumpkin ice cream and if you can imagine it pumpkin its probably at the Circleville Pumpkin Show in ohio. Parking is extremely hard to find an cost alot. Lots of the churchs offer parking for a fee an shuttle rides to and from at various pickup times. Be prepared to spend the whole day or come and be prepared to spend the whole week to see & do everything the Pumpkin Show has to offer. Theres everything including lots of great vendors such as wood Carvers, glass blowers and many more, theres lots of great local food vendors from Ohio such a Schmidts Sausage House from German Village. There are lots of arts & crafts in various buildings. There are parades every afternoon & every night. The Pumpkin Show runs Wednesday through Saturday only. Never on Sunday. There are also many fair or carnival type games and rides for all ages. Many local businesses, restaurants and shops are open during the same time in the downtown area feel free to stop in and see what all they have to offer. You can also buy seeds from these magnificent squash an speak to the growers. Opening daily at 11 a.m. till 10 p.m. Please be advised each day gets busier & busier. Also bring your own folding chairs especially if staying for parades or long periods of time so you can sit down to rest and enjoy yourself.

Such a great time every year! There is no place else in the country that offers such a variety of pumpkin foods both Sweet & Savory.We tired the pumpkin FANTASY CUPCAKES for the first time and WOW!!! Who knew a deep fried cupcake could taste so good!! So wrong & So good at the same time. Happy Fall

So my bestie and I decided that this is like a really big food truck festival. I wish there were more craft booths. There were 3 Scentsy booths within 100 feet of each other. Theres definitely a whole lot of food to choose from. We got there at 9am and found a spot on the street so we didnt have to pay for parking. Most areas we saw were $10. There were chairs set up along the parade route. A local named Beth said people come as early as Sunday and set out chairs. She said nobody messes with them. I cant imagine having to live right there and having to deal with that every year. She has to go get a permit from the police station to park at her own home. Super friendly lady. Anyway, its a fun place to go. We did break away from all the pumpkin and had some bourbon chicken. One place had a huge line but there are several throughout the show area. We may make the 11 hour drive again some day. Its bonding time so why not.

My husband and I stopped at the pumpkin show on our way to Hocking Hills. It was a great show. We walked the streets, got a few things from local vendors and a bite to eat. Great atmosphere!

Still a community event. Amazing food. Good kid rides. Awesome specialty booths. Local businesses are open late and have deals. The local restaurants have music and specials. And the parade. Take outstanding marching bands and toss in local bragging rights and they show up to put ob a parade. Reminds you that ohio is still ohio: mostly a rural, farming state.

Never missed a year in my life and if its up to me I never will. Great fair food (if you can even call some of it that seeing as some of these places have full kitchens set up). You can bring your kids and have a great time eating food and playing games or shopping through all the tents or even playing games at the arcade area. If you dont have kids you can enjoy the several bars around the area that remain open and then enjoy the food in-between stops. Either way the pumpkin show is something youd be greatly mistaken to pass up!

Excellent BBQ at Hickory House BBQ. You have to check this delicious BBQ out. Six homemade BBQ sauces to choose from and the hickory smoked flavor is amazing! Look for the cedar log cabin with the HUGE smoker. I will definitely be visiting this place every year.

Family friendly home town festival. Local organizations (think high school band and athletic boosters, Kiwanis, churches) sell all manner of pumpkin creations. Pumpkin waffles, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin burgers, pumpkin fudge, you name it and its probably here. Also the usual carnival food, games, kid rides and hucksters. Dont miss the multi-generation Bennett family fish fry - best ever

My father started taking me to the Circleville Pumpkin Show as a child for my birthday. Now it has become our family tradition we love it there

Ive never seen such a wide variety of pumpkins and gourds in my life. Im also astounded to see such a wide variety of foods that feature pumpkin including pizza, hard pumpkin cider, chili, chili dogs, nachos, fudge, and bbq just to name a few. The pumpkin display is astounding. Ive been to the Texas state fair many times but can say these pumpkins here ate much more impressive. Cant recommend this highly enough. Definitely worth the road trip. Lots of beautiful fall scenery in the area.

This is truly the greatest free show on earth! Been coming down for over 40 years and its always a great time.

Several pumpkin foods- some unusual offerings. Some vendors and music. Much busier than in past years and time was limited. If going on Sat with good weather, recommend going early- couldnt get in the bakery- a must visit-since line was extremely long-this was late afternoon.

The sneak preview night is the best time to go. The crowd wasnt too bad and all the food vendors we like were open. The only drawback is theres no parade. Parking was good and we were relatively close.

Hadnt been to the pumpkin show for many years. Nothing has changed. I got to meet the grand champion heaviest pumpkin. Super nice people. Overall nice festival.

Lived in Circleville.Go to Pumpkin Show just about every year.If you like pumpkin,there is plenty of different food choices to try.There is plenty other foods to eat that are not made with pumpkin.There are also plenty different vendors with all kinds of items to sell.Many different rides for all to enjoy.

The Pumpkin show is like a smaller, pumpkin themed version of the Ohio State fair (and has no entrance fee! Its the best free show on Earth!). Get there by 9am if you want to be able to wander without the crowds.A few things to be sure not to miss include the giant pumpkin pie, the pumpkin tower, the biggest pumpkin contest, giant pumpkin carving, pie and donut eating contests, and of course all the pumpkin themed food (especially Lindseys Bakerys famous pumpkin donuts!), the glass blowing tent, Pumpkin Man, and the parade! There is so much to see and do and the show seems to grow every year, so theres always something new to find.One last thing to keep in mind is that it can be easy to get turned around wandering the streets and alleys of downtown Circleville, so make sure to get a map at the information booth at the intersection of Main and Court!

A pumpkin lovers paradise, if you love pumpkin anything its here. Coffee, donuts, deep fried pies, the list is endless. Great town, festival.

EXTREMELY crowded and not much to do besides walk around the same 3 blocks while youre there. Food and drinks are over priced, even for a large event. Over $10 for a small fry. I usually go into these events with an understanding that prices are high and streets are full, but this event is simply too crowded to enjoy your time!! Ad you cant even pick any pumpkins!!

I grew up in Columbus but had never been. We went to check it out and it was a large county fair with pumpkin themed foods. There were a handful of pumpkins there - very large ones - but 99% of it was just fair food, which we were not interested in.If youre expecting a county fair and like county fairs, youll love it :)

I have been going to the pumpkin festival since I was knee high as a grasshopper . its changed like everything else but it has always been fun. The pumpkin bread is good and alot of the other vendors has good fresh food The people that works for the festival are nice and respectful

You know those over priced little kiosks at the mall? That is literally all this is. When people say there is nothing to do in Ohio, events like this are born. If you enjoy spending $50 on a T-Shirt and being trampled on moving 10 centimeters a minute because everyone forgot how to walk forward, this might be the place for you! Save yourself some time & money and skip this event.

Ive not been to The Pumpkin Show in quite some time, but its still a good time! I took my newest niece (10 mos) along with my lovely wife. The festival is bigger and there are soooo many people, but the pumpkin sloppy Joe and donuts are still just as tasty! There is an endless supply of humanity for people watching, one of my favorite pastimes...

Was hoping to see the memorial to the Lima Company. Didnt see it.

We had a good time but there could be much better things like taking credit/debit cards and things are over priced, rides werent that bad but some took cash, some wanted tokens, i didnt know when to have which so I just kept some of both but having one universal way of doing things would be so much better and advertise that cards will not be accepted for mostly anything so people know. Otherwise the kids had fun and I enjoyed myself.

Rated 3 stars. Yes its fun and historic. But the prices for tickets, wristbands, foods and drinks are way too High. I mean its more than the Ohio State Fair. And the Ohio State Fair has alot more stuff. Circleville has to fix the pricing, or they will lose alot of people.

I’ve lived in Circleville for 6 years now, and every year it seems to get more crowded and more tedious to get around the town, especially when you’re job is across town and you have to worry about careless visitors who run across the street at dark and are causing chaos. Sure, it’s probably great profits for the town and of course I love going there at least once a year, but it’s way too many people for that small area, there is barely room to even walk with people constantly shoving you and pushing you, people walking in horizontal lines taking up half of the road instead of just walking behind eachother. I always walk up there at least once and I always feel really excited to go the first time but it’s instantly shattered with the chaos and confusion, like I said, there is WAY too many people it’s ridiculous. The locals only day isn’t even that much less crowded any more than the other days, and they’re all pretty much just as bad as saturday so don’t even bother worrying about the crowd on the weekend because it’s just as bad as any of the other days these last few years. I’d love to be able to go at night because it’s prettier, but I can’t deal with the wildness of it, just too many people.

Super fun place and pumpkin everything

I have never been to the pumpkin show ever!! So I have only positive things to say about this place! Parking was $10 (which not that bad) but when we got to the pumpkin show I thought I was in heaven!!! The first thing I tried was the pumpkin cake! omg this cake was so good I left the show with a whole cake. We have pumpkin soup. Pumpkin sloppy joe, Fried vegetables, and so much more!! Listen I will be back next year to give them all my money and next time I’m buying 2 ful size cakes

What can I say about the great Circleville Pumpkin Show there is something there for everyone from food rides people wonderful friendly people places to park free and for a nominal charge whether the weather is bitter chill with pumpkin juice falling from the sky or a steaming 69 degrees Fahrenheit or better youre going to find something that is going to make you want to come back even if youre not a pumpkin lover theres a little Charlie Brown in all of us

I enjoyed my time there. There was a lot to do and because I was with my family, it was a whole other experience. The only problem is they somewhat abuse the prices when it comes to games, foods and tickets for rides. But overall, I had a good time.

I always love the pumpkin show it is always a lot of fun. Aside from all that my fiance got an airbrush tattoo that was supposed to be water and sweat-proof it literally washed off with just water didnt even touch it. we paid $10 for a tattoo that was supposed to last up to five days. it didnt make it seven hours

Honestly, I was disappointed by the lack of pumpkin inspired food items. Regular old fair food outnumbered pumpkin options by a good 8-1 ratio. I know Circleville is trying to make a buck off their single largest annual event, but perhaps keep the pumpkin ratio at a 1-1 maximum? Other than that, it was great.

This festival got me to drive all the way up from Cincy and be happy about it, that may say enough right there! Ill continue though...beautiful location in a town with some strange and charming history. Locals were sweet and helpful, especially when we were trying to get parking (there was plenty thank goodness!). The festival itself is very food centric and cash centric, so come hungry and go to an ATM ahead of time because its going to be packed! Couldnt speak to the taste of the food since I have every food allergy known to man, but the smells and look of quality were there! Can speak to the cider and drinks being fantastic though. Lots of rides, kiddy rides as well for the children who seemed to be having a blast! This is a wonderful event for the whole family and has garnered a following from all over for a reason!

Have come here all my life, it’s a must do every year. Some of my family lives right down the street and we could walk to this traditional event. Helps get you ready for fall and enjoying all of the fun things that fall brings like pumpkins, crafts, games, yummy food, parades and more!

Love the people...love the venders...best place to visit in the whole world. If you have never been there...it is a must. Best food around. Make sure you try mini donuts...pumpkin chili...oh heck...try it all.
