It was my first time playing there, friendly place to be everyone there is great, even the ladies come out to play with there guys! I will play every Saturday! Steve is wonderful even when I couldnt use my Thompson gun he let me use 1 of his rifles 2 play ill see yu soon OHVAC.

I used to love this field. The downstairs was amazing. Shop was decent. I left for awhile because there wasnt any refs and people would not call hits and games werent managed well. They moved upstairs and got an awesome ref staff lead by Blake and Sid who are the nicest guys ever. But the field was not exciting after moving upstairs. It was to much like a paintball field. It was great at first but it lacked what other indoor fields have. I agree with the recent fps change even though we were given two weeks notice after I already had a gun being shipped to me. but I do not agree with these new rules such as no feathering the trigger or the 1/8 inch trigger travel rule. For one hes not measuring it hes eyeballing it which is not accurate. Also new guns have a shorter trigger travel out of the box. I just spent $390.00 on a new gun that has this short trigger travel that I cannot use now at this field because of these rules. I know Im not the only one who feels this way because other players in the community have already started boycotting the field. Some starting as early as December since the field clearly wasnt being renovated like Steve and Zach promised. I heard in the last month attendance dropped from 55+ to 10 to 12 players for 4 weeks in a row which is because players have started playing at other fields that dont have ridiculous rules and actually listen to players concerns about field layouts.including safety concerns over Steves flimsy walls that players nearly knock over every week. He needs buildings Not a bunch of two sided walls he moves in different directions . Ovi was one of my first fields but Steve pushed his customers away and is running this field into the ground.. I am not trying to attack Steve but I feel like somebody needs to say something. This field would do so much better if Zach and the refs ran the Field for Steve. B

Best place to sling beebs in Cincinnati! There is also a very nice well stocked shop that puts on Friday night games every other weekend.

Great owner, great experience. Ive been coming here for a few months now and I my had one day where I didnt enjoy myself. It wasnt people or owner, it was just too many people on the field, made it hard to move. That was nobodys fault. Come here and get a few games in.

I have played air soft for many years now and this has to be one of the best indoor fields i have ever played at. I was playing the same day as the man who left the negative review. Do not listen to his review yes the owner banned shields and melee weapons for the rest of that day that is only because the people using the shields were hitting people with them pretty hard and there melee weapons were not the normal plastic knives that accepted every where. The group used pool noodles wrapped around a hard center object (resembled larping weapons) and repeatedly hit me and other players extremely hard with their swords. To the point one time my safety glasses were knocked off my face. At this point me and many other players complained to the field manager about the three men with swords hitting players. As a result the manager banned the swords and shields. which pissed of the three guys, and i guess caused him to write the bad review. But if your looking for a fun and safe place to play air soft, and not Larping, there is not a better indoor field around. All players no mater the skill level feel welcomed. and the field managers do their best to keep the teams even. I would recommend this field to any and all new and veteran air soft players.

I write this review with a heavy heart. For the last year and a half me and my team have both supported and enjoyed playing at both black ops and their new location at Ohio Valley indoor airsoft. That was until my latest experience at 1/28/17. Me and my team consisted of two new players as well as 5 feild veterans including myself. The day started off fine, we went to gother chronod up and got ready for the first game. The feild manager had recently switched around the spawns giving one team a severe advantage at the beginning of the game which made ithe very hard for our new players to get a grasp of the feild. After being spawn camped for the whole game I decided for the next game to give my two new players feild approved riot sheilds and using a small one for myself as well as a melee weapon for the fun of it. This resulted in two groups that were the stereotypical try hard groups to tune up their polar stars and get very aggressive and rude to my team members. Even going so far as to refuse to call hits and shooting my team members as fast as possible even after they call their hits. Let me be clear on the fact that everything I use in a game is pretty approved by a riff and I hate being unfair. But I have been using this sheild for years and this is the only time they have had any trouble with it. That is until one of the opposing team members complained to the owner at which point the owner completely banned any sheilds and melee weapons from Texas feild for the rest of the day. Now I know this doesnt sound like that big of a deal but to a guy that runs nearly exclusively a riot sheild pistol loadout this was infuriating. When I confronted the owner about this asking him why he would ban riot sheilds he replied with its just not realistic and the regulars think its stupid so yea, no more sheilds due to this I have decided that I will not be returning to Ohio Valley indoor airsoft and I would not recommend this feild to either new players or older more advanced teams on the grounds that they change rules for their friends and allow older more experienced players to bully newer players.

This place has a great friendly staff plus the no minimun engagement distance makes this place awesome
