Amazing concert hallWith great bar service and per RCT my adjacent to Washington Park
Cool venue! Prime spot. Poor staff experiences
Beautiful place. Lovely theater to experience an acoustic show. Great sound characteristics and ambiance. Dont park at the Washington Park garage - nightmare getting out!
Great small restored theater. No bad seats; only issue is that seats are very uncomfortable.I actually heard this comment from several people at The Moth recent event. Parking is good; ushers and other workers very helpful and cheerful.
Beautiful historic hall. Incredible acoustics. Fabulous Christmas concert by Over the Rhine, a local Cincinnati band named after the historic neighborhood denoting its strong German population in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
First time here and will definitely be back. Saw the Eagles project band and they were fantastic. Nice intimate venue, drink selection was adequate and the 100+ year old building looked great. Interacted with a few staff members and they all were very nice.
Outstanding venue !! Saw Ambrosia there last Friday, it was fantastic. They totally brought down the proverbial house. Intimate, excellent seating, and we cant wait to see our next show there!!
The building is superb and has been restored to a beautiful state. There is parking right next to the venue which I loved because I was attending a nighttime event alone. The theatre is small, holds about 600 people. So you get a great view no matter what seat you choose. I found the seats comfortable enough although it was fairly tight elbow room. The acoustics were awesome! The staff was friendly and helpful with seating. I rarely go downtown because I live so far away but I would definitely go again! I would feel safe sending my daughter to this venue because I know its a safe place. I saw several security personnel inside and outside the building. Bonus is that the park is directly across the street and they had a band playing there as well.
Beautiful theater. Really old school and historic feel in the facilities.
Cincinnatis best kept secret. Great acts, some known, some not. Biggest draw I volunteered for was Bob Marley; kids shows one of which is free each year. Tickets are very reasonably priced.
TEDxCincinnati was fantastic. I went because our CEO was one of the speakers. She was great and so were all of the other women. Beautiful venue.
Memorial Hall is very historic and beautiful. Last night we went in to see the Kingston trio and it was simply delightful. Every time weve been to Memorial Hall it is a wonderful experience
My family and I have enjoyed several concerts at this venue. Great location. Seating is good and I haven’t had a bad seat.
Well maintained venue for intimate concerts. If your favorite band is playing here, there is not a bad seat.
The Childrens Theater presentation if Coretta Scott King was excellent.
Very beautiful place, restored to its historical beginnings, is intimate with great acoustics.
A medium-sized venue that has an intimate, historical feel. Not enough bathrooms, but theyre clean and well-stacked.
An absolutely beautiful space, unique and lively. One of the best sounding rooms Ive heard yet in the city - couldnt think of better stage for Lucius Nudes Live tour. Just incredible.
Beautifully maintained. Acustics are wonderful. Seats are uncomfortable though.
I went here for a short doc showing with my class and had a great time! The workers were all kind and very helpful as this was my first time visiting. The seats were comfortable and the screen was a great size so I had no issues viewing. I would definitely suggest this place for any kind of event to friends and family!
STUNNING VENUE. Attended a lovely acoustic show here, and was pleased with seating, accessibility to restroom (as a frequent bathroom-needer!!), spaciousness, and sound.
Simply beautiful! A warm and intimate performance space, worth the price of a ticket just to see in person. (Box seats are also worth the difference in price). I had to go read all about the history of the building after I visited. The building itself is a great example of beaux arts architecture, but the real gem is the concert space. The seats are lavish and the details in wrought iron, dark wood and carved marble really take you back to the turn of the century elegance depicted in historic drawings housed here. A must see when visiting cincinati!
Concert was excellent with great sound and view from any seat. For the bad the seats are very small and not very comfortable The killer was temperature people were making fans out of programs If you ever attend make sure you are seated on the main floor
There were a couple small issues...on the wall theres this spot where it needs to be painted if you continue to use it as a screen. Then there is an issue with on line tickets ..many that did not come was because of the frustration with getting a ticketThe sound was a small issue..all things considered it was great ..your customer relation skills are great and Kayla..and John should be paid more money.
Beautiful place, nice waiting room. Show was great.
Jim Brinkman performed here. Perfect acoustics, amazing music and beautiful, historic venue.
Memorial Hall is beautiful, accoustics are outstanding and the customer service exceeded any expectation I had. My sister uses a walker. The usher got on the elevator with us, took her walker up steps & stored it safely during the concert. Thats not all! After the concert, he came back, retrieved her walker, brought it to her and carried it down the steps. Theres more! Josh, Memorial Hall Director, brought a picture of treats to my sister, let her select her choice, then brought it to her, his treat! Tell me... IS THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR WHAT?? Im a fan!! If you want to experience an intimate concert with excellent sound & great service, GO!!
Nice quaint atmosphere. Felt like Reuben Studdard was giving a concert in my house
This place Harkins from the old time. There are velvet curtain separating you from the hallways, wonderful seats. Small but grand.
This venue is gorgeous! Its got a great historical vibe. The chairs are a little snug but theres decent leg room, at least where I was in the balcony. The sound was also great, though it was an acoustic concert I saw.
This is a very nice historical building and I know it has been refurbished. However, the acoustics in the first floor dining area are not conducive to normal conversation when it is full of tables and people. The noise is deafening. Moving to the second floor, though, the theater is a great venue for performances. There is no problem seeing or hearing the performers.
Always a great concert. No better way to spend the Sunday afternoon before Christmas!
A lovely venue. Very intimate. Looking forward to my next reason to be there.
Very close to the performers so intimate.
Beautiful venue to see a Christmas concert.
This is easily the best place to see live music in Cincinnati
It is a different concert experience than youve ever had. The small venue seats less than 600, and each of the 500+ seats feels super close, so even if youre on the back youll feel right there. The acoustics are great. Each seat is an actual seat (no pit), but you can definitely hear everyone getting into it. Only down side is the bathrooms.
What a beautiful theatre. A great intimate venue !
We love this hall. It is beautiful. The intimacy with the stage and act is exceptional.
Very beautiful place and the concert was great too
Absolutely beautiful! Great acoustics! Friendly staff
Terrific venue. Small enough for each seat to feel like your in 100 level seats.
Free performance of Stuart Little in a beautiful building
Beautiful building and the play we seen was great, Who is Amos Otis?
Very good acoustics. Easy access.
Beautiful Building, very clean. I love the history that goes along with this Building. It is well preserved.
Super impressed by the renovation of this place. It’s quite impressive overall and has some wonderful history.
Beautiful place to experience live music
Beautiful venue for the Veterans Day concert. There are interesting portraits, plaques, and artifacts all around, but many dont have any explanation of what or who they are. Someone who worked there pointed out a flower arrangement that was on Lincolns casket when his body was brought through Cincinnati, but there was nothing there to tell you that.
The concert was great and the facility is beautiful.
Went for Tedx Cincinnati womens, it was great!!
Memorial Hall is breathtaking building. It is very ornate. The size is very intimate. It has the charm of the time that it was built. Its in a great part of town.
Beautiful venue that can be rented out or attend a concert like we did to see Graham Nash. With the concert hall only seating about 600, it made the concert that much better. Not really a bad seat that I saw.The only con I dealt with is the restrooms. Need more.
Yet another Cincinnati gem! Beautiful venue near the Cincinnati Music Hall in historic Over The Rhine. Memorial Hall OTR has several theatres. The photo posted is of the larger one. Others are smaller for more intimate shows, but the acoustics are fantastic regardless of the event location.
Very intimate venue, not a bad seat in the house. Acoustics was out of this world. Seeing and hearing Stephen Marley there was awesome.
Beautiful venue. Easy time reach. Plenty of nearby parking and great local restaurants within walking distance.
Great band kept playing with a lot of heart.
Caught the Pinkalicious show. Good time. Nice theater. I recommend it.
Very acoustical and beautiful architect! Music by Al Di Meola was magnificent!
Great place to see a concert
Cool joint! Intimate and fantastic old school architecture!
Great venue. But parking issues dampen the experience
Went here to see a concert and this is my new favorite venue. There is not a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are great!
Amazing & historical venue.
Wonderful acoustics. Some stairways could use more lighting.
This space is so wonderful. It is beautiful and inviting. The less one star reason: the restroom was not easy to find. Yes, they should be discreetly seen, but more clearly marked.
During the Cincinnati Fringe Festival of 2018 I attended a friends show here. It was in the basement. There is access by elevator and stairs. The hallway has restrooms just a few feet away by the elevator. I really liked the performance space with the high ceilings and the awesome air conditioning. Seating was on folding chairs and the performers without microphones were easily heard by the audience. This is a nice multi purpose venue. I attended an event on the main floor last year. The room was bigger but just as classy. I urge you to attend an event here. Many concerts, speaking events and improv activities take place at Memorial Hall.
I knew nothing about the place before visiting earlier this week to see The Milk Carton Kids in concert. What I discovered was a truly unique environment. The whole experience felt very community oriented. They had a spokesperson posted near the entrance to meet the guests and point us toward the ticket office and to the preshow social hour which including live music from a local singer/ songwriter. Two free small bite stations from a couple of up and coming restauranteurs, and free samples from the Samuel Adams Brewery. The structure itself might be a local landmark and inside it had been fully restored keeping the original character. The first floor was very roomy and would make for an ideal banquet hall or wedding facility. The theatre itself was extremely intimate. I sat in the center balcony section and felt like I was in a box seat. The concert was part of the acclaimed Longworth-Anderson Concert Series, which has been around since 2017, hosting five concerts a year. The shows seem to feature critical darlings from the world of contemporary American music. Im looking forward to their next show in May and would highly recommend the venue.
Awesome venue!! Great acoustics
The acoustics need some work, but the building is old. Seats needs adjusted to a comfortable level for todays size of people.Other than that, amazing work is bound to make people overlook this!
I really like they’ve done with the place since the renovations. Nice intimate venue.
Beautiful venue. Amazing acoustics. Such a treat.
Very, very good time...There is absolutely no bad seat in the house!
We have gone to two shows so far. A delightful location with great performances by Lone Below and Over the Rhine (our favorite!)
Solid venue. Great theatre and room below for drinks, food, or displays.
Arguably the most beautiful music venue in Cincinnati but inarguably its most intimate. There truly isnt a bad seat in Memorial Hall and tickets are typically much more affordable than the Taft. If you get a chance to see an artist you love at Memorial Hall, take it.
Went for Comedy Sportz in the basement. It was amazing!
Great location for life is a pitch event. Inside Auditorium like a mini Music Hall. Parking right next door very reasonably priced.
Clean. Historic. Acoustics were great. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes earlier if you want to meter park. Parking garage/ lots pricey for events.
This is a beautiful buidling in cincinnati. The wiz 100.9 hosted its second annual 30 under 30 event . Recognizing 30 young people under 30 thats making a difference in the community. What Great talent we have in the city. My Nephew Kamonta Heidelburg was one of those people. Excellent Job towards alll 30, you all are awesome!!!
Absolutely stunning building and performance space. Always a pleasure to enjoy a show there.
