This was our first time at Jim and Jacks and it will also be our last. We ordered pretzel bites and when they arrived, they were still cold in the middle. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and my wife ordered the fish sandwich. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was bland and just had chicken, Buffalo sauce and Blue Cheese dressing on a bun, nothing else. My wifes fish sandwich was good. The service was terrible. After our food arrived we were pretty much ignored. Our waters were not refilled, no one checked if we liked our food, nothing. There was a big party outside on the patio and the servers were more focused on them, than anyone sitting inside. After waiting through several way too loud country songs, my wife had to go to bar and ask for our check. We had heard good things about Jim and Jacks,, but were very disappointed.

My husband and I visited Jim and Jacks for the first time last night. We stopped in for dinner and also to check out their party room. My husband ordered the codfather and he said it was good. I ordered the Italian sausage and it was delicious! I needed to eat it with a knife and fork but it was one of the best I have had anywhere in town. The party room is very nice. The servers and hostess were friendly. On a Sunday night this place attracts an older crowd. Most came in for the live band. We did not stay for the music so cannot comment on that.

L heard what the reviews said about the fish. It was superior! The bather which they fried the food in is thin but crispy on the outside. You taste more of the the fish and it was thick and done. It looks just like the photo. Though it is far for me, I will go back again, next time l will go when their is a live music. GREAT Job Jim and Jacks on the River u nail it

CODFather was pretty good. Huge piece of fish! drinks were tasty and reasonably priced. Staff was reasonably responsive and available.

We stopped for dinner after a Bengals game and that was a good decision. Great food served hot and fresh. Service was excellent! Friendly, made sure we had refills and checked several times to see if we needed anything.

This was my first time there, I was really impressed! I had no idea the place was this big, large bar, large dining room, stage, seemed like plenty of parking. Service was quick and friendly, I will go back.

Ordered their $25, 64oz tiki torch mixed drink but was left disappointed. The jar was packed with 90% ice which made the drink only last 15 minutes. Not only that, but after drinking the whole thing my girlfriend and I remain 100% sober the entire night without as much as a slight buzz. Id rate the alcohol content of the drink somewhere between apple juice and Coca-Cola.If your looking for value cocktails, Id look elsewhere.

You cannot beat Jim & Jacks for an evening of live music or lunch during the work week. The owner, manager and staff are some of the friendliest folks you will ever meet and the service A1! There is not a bad item on the menu. The selection of burgers is awesome and the COD Father is out of this world. I have tried the new selection of Pizza Pies and recommend them highly. The Jim family are true West Side gems and they make every customer feel like family.

Food is good, especially the Codfather, a giant fish sandwich. Beer is a little pricey out of the bottle, domestic, 3.75. However when I purchased a beer at the bar it was 3.00.

Had a great time on Thursday night. We saw Elvis impersonator Mike Davis. He puts on one awesome show. I had the cod fish sandwich my husband had the western burger was really good. Never have we had food that was not good. Staff is awesome they treat you like family. Angel and Marcie are fun to be around. They take money at the door on Mike nights, which is second and third Thursdays of the month. Very family friendly oriented place. Fun for people ages one and beyond. Love the place.

Great food and service. Possibly the best band Ive seen in a bar since I moved back to Ohio 7 years ago. All the bar tenders and wait staff were wonderful. We had a great time. Thanks guys.

Down to earth west side establishment. If you are from the east side you may not appreciate it. If you are a west side, you probably already love it.Fisher timers must start with a burger.

Love this place! Great grill food & pizza- I had the Spicy Italian Sausage on hoagie, with waffle fries that rival Chic Fil A, plus theyre seasoned, crispy delicious. Great portions: Im STUFFED. We also had a Frito Bandito Pizza (Taco Pizza) and burger, pulled pork, all good and super affordable. Bonus line dancing! Hoping they order our Nashville Hot Chicken Sauce, so Cincinnati can experience it at this great place!

Been coming here for years. Great hangout on Sunday for the local dance community - swing, cha cha, hustle, west coast. Nice floor and great music.

It has changed since I first started going there 5 to 6 years ago. And I left the area for 2 years and just went back tonight. Since I am a child of the 60s and 70s, that is where my song heart lives. But oh for joy tonight!!!I learned every Sunday 7p to 10p, the oldies are played. HOT DOG and occasionally during the month. Ill check the calendar to avoid the band that played tonight..The Avenues are playing tomorrow night. Hot Dog.. I will be there..!!!...

This is a cool place on the river. The menu is pretty broad with something for everyone. The prices are also affordable. There are three different bars so theres never a line for service. I really enjoyed it.

A really huge place to go and watch live music. There is a dance floor where a good crowd was line dancing. The prices were good for drinks and the people were very friendly. The owner and his daughter were there and it seemed like they knew 90 percent of the people.

Love the staff but the food leaves something to be desired. It tastes cheap and lacks flavor. The fish is the only thing that Ive found that is consistently good. I expect a bit more when almost every meal costs $9.99 or more. I will continue to eat there but Ill stick with the fish.The beer prices are average for the west side, no complaint there.They have live music at night and the setup looks like it would be a blast. I havent been there for it personally though.

Love it down here. Home away from home, you can always find family here, even if you arent related. Service is always the best, and they have the greatest cowboy burger. Also come here every Sunday after church for their awesome breakfast! ♡♡♡ now if they would just get a mechanical bull! :)

First visit, recommended by co-worker for lunch. Was skeptical upon arriving since its primarily a country western dance hall and bar, but the bean soup was genuinely excellent and the salad very good as well. Id definitely go back for lunch again.
