Music Hall is beautiful. There is not a negative thing about this place. If you enjoy the symphony and want to appreciate the architecture of the place its a must see in Cincinnati. The history of it is neat to, it was built in the late 1870s. At one point during restoration they found human bones under the orchestra pit. Neat place!
Matthew Edward Hall is the hottest guy on Earth and his music is mind blowing. Even his quotes! Gorgeous venue and atmosphere!
This place is beautiful, as you can see. It is been a rare occasion that I have been to a place this fancy, and it did not disappoint. I wore my dress for my brothers wedding 12 years ago, and I was the only few wearing something nice, which was kind of awkward, but pretty cool. (I was later told that people in the afternoon showings dont usually dress up.) The handicapped seating is great too, with a seat for the non handicapped partner and a space for the handicapped persons wheelchair. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with seating. Happy 125th anniversary! I hope we can come back here again sometime.
What a beautiful and amazing building. We came here for a backstage and more tour and definitely plan to come see a performance here the next time we come to town. It was awesome being led by a very knowledgeable volunteer (short white hair, forgot her name) who told us all about the history of the building. Its so nice to learn from someone who is so passionate about something. There have been many additions and renovations over the years, I think for the best. There are also beautiful rooms of different shapes and sizes that can be rented here for events! I will definitely keep that in mind!
The POPs concert for New Years Eve was outstanding. Musicians and acoustics were outstanding in this beautifully restored music Hall. The place has a great sense of humour, and a bright future. Ushers and volunteers were available and helped us every step of the way. Ticket agent was friendly. Parking was readily available in the attached lot. The night was very enjoyable.
This place is absolutely stunning! We saw Cat & Nat and had a great time. It was in the ballroom and the only complaint I had was that if you were not in the front it was difficult to see. If they would of had a camera and projected them onto the screens it would of been much better.
My husband and I went to see the Nutcracker and it was just amazing! Speechless! The staff was very friendly and the theater was so beautiful. The performance was magical and cant wait to go back next year!
It was gorgeous! It’s an absolute beauty! The place was well maintained and cleaned. The facility has security checkups and it felt very safe.
Beautiful building! The seats are comfortable, restrooms are updated and very clean, elevators are easy to access. We went to a concert and it was very enjoyable.
Staff is fantastic and professional! Beautiful venue.
Absolutely stunning inside and out! My husband, friends, and I love listening to the Pops perform in the beautiful hall.
Came here for the Tea Dance during pride month. The event was held in the ballroom. The room is spacious and easily accommodated the estimated 1,400 people that attended the event. The people from the Music Hall that were working the event were so pleasant and helpful, they truly contributed to making the environment warm and welcoming!
The Classical Roots community choir, Cincinnati symphony orchestra and none other than Cece Winans was amazing experience. Grateful that I was able to attend. As always Music Hall was Beautiful and the sound was outstanding. Natural Progression Band for the after party was really good.
Music Hall is a beautiful venue for weddings and of course the Orchestra and Pops cant be beat. The renovation is stunning!
I love this venue, from concerts to the Crafty Supermarket during the holidays. Its a beautiful building, inside & out, with so much rich history that you can learn more about in tours. I go there for mostly concerts once or twice a year & its probably my favorite venue in town. If youre visiting Cincinnati, I highly recommend seeing this space if you can. Its worth it!
Beautiful. Not a bad seat in the house. Helpful staff. Clean facilities.
Was lucky enough to get great tickets to see the Nutcracker. It was so much fun. The music is out standing and the ballet was unbelievably amazing!! Highly recommended if you get the chance.
Beautiful place, Great Security there..
I went for Black Violin Concert. Very nice theater.
The renovations, acoustics, and staff are amazing. Could use some more diverse staff though...
I watched the ballet, for the second time in 60 years, better seats this time. As a boy I did not appreciate the art that is ballet. Now with older eyes an d, knowing the hard work, it takes to perfect a dance, the staging, the musical score....and one of the young dancers, who is an inspiration and friend to my grand children... I have learned to love dance as never before.
Music Hall is a treasure of Cincinnati and recently underwent a major renovation. It shows. All hew seats, the front opened up, better acoustics. The biggest downside is that the lobby gets very crowded before the show, but thats minor. Everyone needs to see a show here.
We visited to see the Nutcracker ballet. We had a lovely time and the renovated facilities are gorgeous. Parking was very easy in the underground lot below Washington Park.
It was a nice facility. The acoustics were great and our seats were good. I was surprised that the gift shop was so small.
Beautiful gem of a theater to watch the CSO, Opera, Ballet, etc. Since the renovation, much easier access to all levels, and bathrooms are greatly improved. The acoustics of the room are fantastic, and the architecture is beautiful. I recommend parking slightly south on the Connector route and using it to get to Music Hall on busy nights.
Wonderful place to see a wide variety of performances. Great acoustics! Also very haunted (would recommend reading up on its haunted history), so dont be surprised if you have an experience relating to spirits/ghosts/etc. there.
Music hall is a gem. We sat in the front row, and my husband mentioned that the trim around the stage was unfinished and should have been painted during the renovations! He notices everything! It could be touched up a bit... Overall, we had a great experience at the concert.
Incredible venue, beautiful architecture and one seriously talented symphony!
Amazing historic building which has been beautifully renovated to accommodate modern requirements while not loosing any of the buildings original soul. I cant wait to buy tickets to future concert events. Venues dont come any better than this.
An incredible day of Beethoven 1808. The only person I know of who had a similar year was Einstein in 1905. Every piece more incredible than the last. CSO does Cincinnati proud. BRAVO!
Black Violin was AMAZING!When they return make sure you go see them.
Absolutely beautiful. You must stop in for a visit. This pix does no justice to the chandelier!!! Gorgeous. Cirque De La Symphony is a must see show.... Phenomenal show beyond your expectations!!
This is such a beautiful place and we are lucky to have such a beautiful and historic music venue in our city. I love coming here and I have so many good memories of fantastic performances.
Ive been about 5 times over 4 years and its breathtakingly beautiful! Both times I got cheaper tickets because they were obstructed view but we were able to see the stage very nice both times.
Beautiful restoration! I had no idea some of these things were in hiding for years.
Very neat place with great views outside.
A beautiful venue with a great history
Terrific atmosphere and talented artists!!
Absolutely stunning inside and out, the staff is lovely, bathrooms are spotless, and the theater is amazing.
Fantastic venue, comfy seating, great acoustics, easy parking and access. My children love the experience and the snack bar. Security is odd...they scan everyone but then allowed several people to exit and return through non-scan doors (seems counterintuitive to safety--if you leave and return you should have to go thru security again right? Obviously they could be returning with new things) ...I wasnt allowed to bring in my coffee, and had my purse sifted through but saw others with their own stash of pricier (booze) items snuck in. I think security is out of whack here is all.But lovely and attentive staff. Delighted to live in a city that offers this facility.
Beautiful place. Good views and sound everywhere. In winter, at least the balcony seats are quite cold. Dress warm
Love bringing my kids here for the cultural experience. Very elegant after the renovation.
JMR has brought so much to the pops organization including new/rediscovered music, energy, and an excellent lollipop series. The newly renovated facility is fantastic.
Ive been here several times since they renovated it, both for the CSO, and the Opera. Absolutely stunning! Both the building, and performances! Excellent services on site too, good drinks and snacks. I have lived here in the Cincinnati area for 16 years and just made my first visit to Music Hall last year, and Im kicking myself for not having visited before!
This music hall is amazing. It is gorgeous and so well laid out. The staff is super courteous and helpful. The concessions are fairly priced. There are some obstructed views but they manage as best they can from the venue perspective.
A Cincinnati landmark, beautifully renovated. It is more special than ever, intimate and acoustically marvelous.
Beautiful facility, comfortable seating, amazing performance of the CSO. My only complaint is that the escalators are turned off post-performance. Both my friend and I are unable to walk down stairs right now. We had to queue up for the elevator. It was an annoyance.
So beautiful my wife had to draw it.
Always a pleasure. Amazing productions in this beautiful historic wonder.
Music Hall is an amazing venue. The renovation is very well done! I am very pleased with the new parking garage which is very convenient as it is directly across the street from Music Hall. The parking area is very well-lit & one feels safe there. Once inside, the remodel is just dazzling with the newer, wide-open concept, higher ceilings, & escalators. Seating is very easy to find as it is now clearly marked. The bathrooms are tastefully decorated & larger, which means much less time standing in line at intermission! Ive had the pleasure of enjoying several shows, symphonies, ballets, & even a few operas & look forward to many more to come!
Went to an Artworks event here in November where they were serving pretzels hanging from a clear umbrella. So avant garde.
I went recently for the first time since the renovation and the improvements are amazing! The hall feels very intimate for such a large space, the acoustics are wonderful, and the cup holders and allowing drinks in the hall makes for a wonderfully relaxed symphony experience.
Great place to see the ballet at! They are very accommodating for wheelchairs! The ADA seating is great!
Cincinnati Pops was an enjoyable night if music.
Its always wonderful here, whether youre there to enjoy the Nutcracker or any other event. Cincinnati is fortunate to have this beautifully restored, historic, cultural gem.
Had been newly renovated & was just lovely as buildings go. Have pictures but dont know how to get them here. Well worth going just to see new insides, not to mention concerts.
This show was AMAZING. The talent of the musicians and singers was superb! The music hall itself is absolutely beautiful. Well worth the money!
We hosted an event here at Music Hall in the ballroom. The staff was amazing to work with. The room is enormous and beautiful. If you havent been to see the renovations you need to make your way to an event.
Music hall has been beautifully restored. We attended the Nutcracker again this year and it was great to be back in Music Hall, it is definitely a Cincinnati treasure.
Beautiful hall on the outside and the inside. It has been recently redone, though I dont know what it was like before, now the acoustics are great. There isnt a bad seat on the house and you can see and hear everything clearly. World class music and entertainment right here in Cincinnati.
Saw the Nutcracker today. Staff was super helpful and courteous. Seats are spacious and the remodel is gorgeous. Not a bad seat in the house.
Music Hall is a historic part of Cincinnati’s rich musical heritage. Home to our Symphony, Pops orchestra, Ballet and opera. It has been newly renovated and is a beautiful jewel in the Queen City’s crown.
Worked the Nutcracker Luncheon and it was stunning! On top of a sweet treat wonderland, the faces on the little kids when they saw the ballerinas were priceless!
Great building for music. Home of Cincinnati pops.
Beautifully refurbished in painstaking detail. Exquisite Masterpiece for the Performing Arts
That magic and allure of theatre is completely captured in one of the most beautiful buildings our country has to offer. Tip, look for street parking and get to your show early it will make getting outta there a breeze thus causing less stress and save you money.
Harry Potter with POPS was great. Cant wait to go again.
Music Hall is one of the true gems in Cincinnati. It was great before, but now (after the 2016 renovation) it is spectacular on a while new level. Acoustics are good, searing is comfortable, concessions are good, and the history ous magical.
Gorgeous! It always looks so amazing at Christmas! If you have an event there over the holidays you really need to go. A Cincinnati must see.
Music Hall is a gem of Cincinnati. You will not be disappointed. Parking is easy now with the improvements to Washington Park.
A great place to hear music. The new remodeling is fantastic.
The hall is beautiful. The acoustics are good. There are some odd corners visually.
Music Hall is not only beautiful and of historical significance it also house incredible professional companies! You are always in for a treat if you stop in for a show.
Not open for public and youth should watch the performance to see the inside, from the news this building was renovated with budget around 100 millions.
Great place! Great sound. Had a fun time playing there for Kao and thank them for hiring Ray The Moose Comedy Entertainment for their DJ/KJ needs!
Acoustics are as good as people say they are. Saw The Nutcracker Ballet. Enjoyed it very much.
The Cincinnati Pops did an excellent job. Also, these new seats are conformable with leg room for tall people!
The Cincinnati Opera presents PORGY AND BESS- George Gershwin.Fantastic Production. The Music is exquisite and the stage design was fantastic. The Lead performances moved me to tears. This production rivals a performance of The Metropolitan Opera in NY which was fantastic. Porgy is portrayed by a much larger man than I would have imaged in that role but he makes it work and literally throws himself into the role. Gorgeous Show. Best music
Beautiful venue...so happy they renovated and updated yet kept its charm!
Amazing orchestra and one of the most beautiful music halls youll find. Must visit at least once.
Restoration is amazing. Book a tour and enjoy this jewel.
Great place, with the addition of the escalators so much easier to get around! Acoustics are so good. Orchestra talent is phenomenal! Whole experience is wonderful.
Visited for the first time since the big renovation. The changes are mostly subtle, but all welcome. New floor coverings and seating are the the most obvious. A great venue!
I visited to watch the performance of Swan Lake by the Cincinnati Ballet. The performance was fantastic and the venue is absolutely beautiful and rich with history.
At the time that I visited it was decorated with lots of lights and was beautiful .Something was going on that weekend. Lots of buildings were decorated and they were all beautiful
Bravo, Cincinnati! My mother and I had a wonderful time viewing Porgy & Bess! Sound, view and staging were magnificent! Newly renovated building was wonderful. My mother uses a Walker and there were ramps to accommodate her. Seats are not the most comfortable, but much larger than before.
Absolutely beautiful, saw the Cincinnati pops do George Gershwin and the killed it as well
Such a beautiful building.
Music Hall has always been a gem, and since the renovation is has been absolutely perfect. The inside of the building is even more gorgeous than before. I have never been to a bad or even mediocre performance here. The Pop, the CSO and the Cincinnati Ballet all shine in this cathedral to art. The staff are helpful and the restroom are clean.Take some time to walk around before the show starts and appreciate the art on the walls and just simply the architecture of the building. We are lucky to have Music Hall, even when the County Commissioners left her for dead, well she showed them.
$18 for a cup... yes a plastic cup... of wine???? Otherwise.. great concert Ledisi
Opening the CSO Season 2018-2019 - Amazing!
Wonderful evening with family listening to Christmas music.
Swan Lake ballet was amazing! Music Hall is beautiful.
Enchanting enchanting. As magical and graceful as a Swan.-lorena
This is a Cincinnati Landmark and must check out. Its absolutely excellent I side and the history is amazing. They really did the seating and the shows are always wonderful. I absolutely love going to Music Hall.
Beautiful music, lively, ok seats, and beautiful old building.
Thoroughly enjoyed the music, the superb vocalist Mrs. Megan Hilty (aka Ivy Lynn) and my niece and her choir, Winton Woods Vocal Ensemble. Terrific show!!
CMH is one of the premier music venues in the world, and the superb Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is a perfect match.Treat yourself!
