Went for a comedy show about a week ago. This place is a great example of a business doing their best during a pandemic! Sat outside, they had a nice stage, with good lighting. Service quick as always, and comedians were funny.

Out of the few clubs Ive been to, this is one of my favorite. Its mainly a local spot for amateurs, but there are occasionally a few popular headliners.The service by the staff of the club is always great, and everything is reasonably priced for what it is.The volume is at the right level, and its has just the right amount if intimate atmosphere with the performers.Parking and access is great, even on busy nights.

I highly recommend Go Bananas Comedy Club if you’re looking for a great evening of stand-up comedy! The performers will be sure to keep you entertained and there is an extensive list of delicious food and drinks for to enjoy during the show.

Went to a comedy show there on Saturday Nov 23. Had plenty of seating. But overall the place is average. The food menu wasnt great. The servers were very attentive, borderline bothersome. I wish the microphone was a little louder for the comics. It was an okay experience.

Great atmosphere. Food is good and mostly reasonably priced. Customer service is good once you get there. I did have trouble receiving a return phone call, however, I believe someone was on vacation. They did accommodate our large group, sat us all together and offered a group discount. The table service was prompt and polite. Go Bananas brings very talented nationally known and acclaimed acts to Cincinnati and we always have a great time! Definitely reccomend.

This is one of the best comedy clubs I have ever been to! Drinks and food are top quality and reasonably priced, super friendly staff. Please support this business and the artists they support.

Went for open mic night to support my friend and her debut performance. It had been a while since I was here and the place is still a cozy and intimate setting for a great experience for audience members. Food is served and is good when you bed need to get something in your stomach so the drinks dont get you into any trouble. Moderately priced but close to the high side. Admission was only five dollars but that was of course for open mic night. Im sure any headliner pricing would be commensurate with the comedian and his or her current popularity.

So much fun! Service is very good. We didnt eat here, but our server suggested a wine that was very good. I do think that they could do a little to the redecorating to make the room feel warmer.

Had a great time. Acts were good. Recommend checking out if you are in area. Only thing I didnt like is that they automatically add 18 percent to your bill for a tip. If I receive good service I am a decent tipper, but this gives the wait staff a free pass on service. The service was ok, but I dont like how they do that. Not sure if I would go back again for that reason.

We love having this entertainment option in our town. Always a large, lively crowd and great comics. Pricing is reasonable for both the tickets and the drinks/food.

This club opened June 21 1990 and is still going strong!! They must be doing something right

Very nice. Great atmosphere. 3 dollar drink minimum per person just FYI, they dont tell you that when you buy your ticket. But a beer is 4-5 dollars and water is 2...so the minimum is easy to meet. Super friendly staff.

Pretty cool watched about 20 aspiring comics that had about 3 to 5 minute sets each. The wait staff was cool the menu was typical bar food and it was decent price point drinks were average price as well The good sound system....would go back

I enjoyed my visit, however, they have a few too many rules to follow when your the one paying for a fun evening. Btw...the comedians dont always have to say F and discuss the male anatomy All the time to be funny. But..an over all ok experience I guess.

Great Comedy Club. Prices are great, constantly offering half off or free admission. There has never been a comedian who did not make the whole crowd crack up. Service is also very very good.

We always have a good time here! Wish they had wheelchair accessible bathroom for my friend but otherwise the comedians and staff always do a good job.

Always a good time. Famous/Indie comedians with consistent, hilarious and relatable content. The owner, Marty, is a very hospitable and a down to earth host. The menu and atmosphere land perfectly. Highly recommend.

Went to support my cousin whos an upcoming comic. The scene is really cool and laid back and the food and drinks are reasonably priced. I actually prefer Go Bananas over larger area comedy clubs. I will definitely return.

Went to a ticketed event. Servers work really hard during the shows. Gratuity was already included in the check. Wait staff almost expects you to buy a drink and food. Bottled water sold only. No tap water. I dont mind, but some people get uptight about that kind of stuff. Food was good. Drinks were a little pricey but I guess thats what you should expect when you are going to an entertainment venue.

Terrible service...... waste of money & terrible talent. Very bland comedians. Seems like they recruit the homeless from the streets of Cincinnati. Would’ve been better off talking to a friend on the phone & cRacking jokes. So unrelatable.

I had A great rime. Buckets of beer hold 6 rather than the standard 5! Hilarious comedians.

Could use some updates and I really dont like how they add a tip in automatically on there own. Always some great comedians here tho!

Worst service i’ve ever received and the comedians were a bore. save your money & go somewhere else. if 0 stars was a choice, that’d be my option.

Good comedy club. A decent sized room with a good view of the comedian and good acoustics which they also have in the restroom so you dont miss it in the show. The food and drinks arent bad and the location is great. Perfect for a date night.

Entertainment was Great! The last 15-20 min of the Show was spent trying to figure out our bill(s) which meant we were unable to enjoy the end. Also, they auto tip on the bill but dont tell you and our party ended up double tipping. There has got to be a better way of paying out w/o missing the last part of the show!

Comics were great super funny the wait staff was way slow...

Get there EARLY! They basically sat my husband and I separate from each other because they were running out of seats when we got there 20 minutes before the show started. They split us around someone elses table in the most awkward way. All but one of the comedians were funny- the last one could barely get laughs because his comedy was trash--luckily his set was short-- Nothing like an entire room of uncomfortable people! Drinks were tasty, so bar tender was excellent! Headliner was HILARIOUS, as was the house comedian and the other opener! All in all Im glad we went, we will probably go back. But Ill get there early. ;)

Great intimate comedy club. Get on their email list and get invited to no cover shows! Not a bad seat in the house. Ive been a dozen times and always have a great time laughing.

Worst place to go to, worst comedians.. even worst service. Spend your money elsewhere.

Love this place. Its not over done. Just a simple place to go hang out and enjoy some good appetizers and all the cocktails and beers we can take! Love it here! The comedians we have seen here (6 in total now) have all been fantastic and very good. This spot is a great simple date night!

Love comedy. Dont like politics. Decide which one you are, and stick with that.

There are usually 3 acts a night. At least 2 make me laugh out loud. The atmosphere is perfect! The staff is happy & outgoing. Love this place

First time here. Comedians were pretty funny, staff was nice and helpful. They really dont have food just appetizers so just FYI to eat before hand. Prices for drinks were average. Seating could have been a bit more comfortable and it was a bit awkward for the tables in the first row as the chairs not facing the stage are basically on the stage. Overall good experience.

I have never had a bad experience here. Maybe one headliner that I didnt find too funny, but then one of the other acts was really good. Usually both are quite good, though, and often the opener is good as well.I have only two negatives that come to mind. They allow smoking right outside the door, and the lot is pretty dark.

Five of us in our party and all had a great time. Excellent show and staff was awesome especially working through a reservation snafu that wasn’t even questioned and we were seated immediately. Great choice of drinks & food made it a comfortable experience as well.

Door man shorted us $4 when we paid for our tickets, we had to call him out and he wanted to argue about the amount he gave us back until we explained simple math to him. Tickets are $14 a piece, we gave him $40. They don’t have a cash register to tell them the amount to give back so I’m only assuming that is he took offense to us wanting our money back, it’s that he expected not to have to give us our money and keep it. The acts were great, the food wasn’t terrible, but then came our check. We knew they added 18% because we’ve been there before, that 18% is a built in tip for the waiters. Sure enough our bill came to $95 and that included said gratuity as it is. Well we gave them $65 cash and said put the rest on our card. Our card comes back and has been ran for $48 and some change, I got up in the middle of the show to find the man that ran my card and had a word, he said and I quote “the gratuity wasn’t included in the price on your receipt” man did you know it’s literally blasted everywhere on your website and your establishment that it is? IT EVEN HAD IT ON THE RECEIPT AS A ADDED CHARGE SEPARATELY UNDER THE TAX. Mind you he wouldn’t give me back my original receipt to make him feel like a skimming idiot. So he received around a $13 and some change tip that was included in our original bill at 18% then tried to take another $18 or so from me by over charging my card. If I was any other drunk person I probably wouldn’t have noticed and that waiter would have walked out that night with $31 out of my pocket. Absolutely not.

We had a great time at this comedy club. The atmosphere was fun, and the laughs were plentiful. I went there on a date night with my wife, and I havent seen her laugh that hard in ages. The food could be better though, or this would be a 5 star review. We will go back whenever we are in the area again

Great experience great service great comics not overly priced

This place is incredible. The shows are intimate regardless if a night show is sold out or if theres a smaller crowd.The waiters are incredible in terms of drink service and I highly recommend the late shows ( usually around 10pm) from what Ive experienced the crowd and atomosphere is so much more lively and liberal.

Funny act decent food guys if your in a pinch and need something to do for date night trust me this place is great . Its affordable in total if you wanna watch the show and eat a meal its gonna cost 40$ or so but its 2 hrs of entertainment and you dont have to worry about smalltalk . Plus you have subject matter to talk about later. Do your self a favor and try it out. Id definitely come back

Nice club in general. I went to see what I thought was going to be Doug benson doing stand up last night. It was not advertised anywhere that it was Doug benson and 3 other comics. I drove 2 hours to see what I thought was a full Doug benson set. That wasn’t the case. I had a good time. But, if it would have been advertised correctly, I would not have made that drive

We go there at least once a month and its great. Thursday nights are my favorite nights.

Weve been coming here since the Ray Combs days and are among their biggest fans still. The owner always recognizes us, even if we havent been in awhile. The wait staff is amazing. Super nice and efficient. They always take great care. Good munchies and drink selection. Weve been to the other clubs but this is our first choice. Great atmosphere, great staff, great people and most of all, GREAT COMEDY!!! Just follow the signs and youll find it

Had a blast here. This was my first experience with a comedy club and it was pretty damn funny.

I like coming here and its a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Only reason I wouldnt give 5 stars is because automatic gratuity and the workers awkwardly laugh sometimes so loud I lose track of my own laughing If that makes sense.

Great casual atmosphere, service was solid & shout out to Andrea! Comedians interact with the crowd after the show.

Great show tonight! Had to leave during the second act due to having to relieve the babysitter at home. Would loved to have stayed for all three acts. We will be back for a full show soon! I was However, very excited to have been part of the second act three times. Go Buckeye!

Great ticket prices, funny comedians, and plenty of opportunities to visit and laugh make this one of the best comedy venues, their food isnt quite as good as some of the other local options, but I feel they have a more regular draw of comedians that I enjoy, and the setting is definitely tighter and more conducive to a quality comedy show

Great food and great atmosphere

The best comedy club in the region, hands down. Its a good sized room, not too big and not too small, with low ceilings and of course the iconic brick wall. The food is decent, the drinks are good, and the service is excellent. The comics seem to enjoy the room and while Ive seen many shows here, Ive never been let down by the venue. By all accounts this is well run comedy club and if youre looking to take in a show there isnt anywhere nearby better to do so.
