My family and I went on Friday Nov 27, 2020. You have the option to drive through the festival of lights, or walk. You can even choose to take a horse carriage too! We decided to walk, and parking was not too far. The lights and beautiful. They also had some food trucks, similar to what you would see at a country fair. They served hot chocolate and apple cider. There was also a few rides for the kids. A ferris wheel, merry go round, and ice skating ring. Great experience worth seeing!
Pros1. Drive or walk through lights2. Horse drawn carriage at location3. Hot chocolate being sold when I went4. Donation people were nice5. Lots of lights to view6. Not terribly crowded line moved at a good pace when waiting to go in7. Rides hereCons1. Long line but like I said moved fairly fast.2. Its lighting choice is standard. Mainly white lights are here not coloured onesSummaryI would return and if you like city lights you should give it a view. They have a lot of white lights here versus other light shows.
Loved it!! We took the horse drawn wagon ride and walked thru, also. They have a lot of lights and ice skating, ferris wheel, carousel, gift shop, and a food truck area. The food was really good, too. Worth the drive!
Awsome my kids loved the ferris wheel
Not fully ready yet but going to be lovely
Beautiful place to bring the kiddos to see christmas lights
Fun place to go and enjoy some Christmas lights
Love this park! The lights are beautiful! They did a great job for 2019. I drove from Oklahoma City to Chickasha just to see this park and it was worth it. There are so many activities for the whole family including the Ferris wheel, ice rink, carriage rides, and more. The lights are absolutely beautiful and well thought of.
Wonderful. hot chocolate. ice skating.
The lights here are great!
Makes our third year, awesome
Nice detail, thousands of lights
The christmas lights at Chickasha lights park was very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the warm vibe of Christmas on the way. They have well organized park. The ferris wheel and ice skating added extra flavor to the trip! Overall, I had a great time and I definitely recommend anyone near the area to visit this place.
Better than ever before
This is an excellent seasonal display of Christmas lights. It has over 3.5 million lights. It takes a little over an hour to walk through the park and enjoy the lights. There are a few food trucks with a variety of foods available, Santa pictures, carriage rides, a ferris wheel, and a carousel. My family only walked the park so I cannot comment on the cost of the Ferris wheel or carousel. I would strongly recommend avoiding driving through the park as the wait to drive into it on a Saturday evening was very long. It is so long, we saw a newer model Cadillac sedans radiator pop a leak and lose a significant amount of coolant as we were leaving the park. The line of cars wraps around the corner from the park. I would advise finding somewhere to park and walk to the park for the best evening. It is possible the line wont be as long during the week. One thing I noted was there was not much security. I saw one Sheriff Deputy inside the park and a few officers in vehicles blocking traffic from entering a certain area. It can be crowded and some folks will be smoking, so be aware of that if you have young children or people sensitive to second hand smoke. Overall, it is a beautiful light display with music setting the mood as well. I recommend a visit if you are able to make it during the part of the year it is open.
I love the christmas lights here. Its the best light display that I have ever seen, other than branson
It was nice but a little crowded
This is the nicest park of lights at Christmas Ive ever seen. The person who gave 1 star wasnt even at the park during the holidays. You wont be disappointed. My kids ask me all the time when we can go back. Last year we went 5 times.
This was a very nice place. Our kids enjoyed everything. The lines for the rides were a bit long, but it wasnt too cold so we didnt mind waiting. The ice rink was VERY SMALL. The people that were out there seemed very cramped. Didnt have much room to move.
The lights where not great, just thrown all over the trees! Ferris Wheel was expensive but fun. I have heard over and over the Chickasha lights are so awesome but I am betting they have never been to Tulsa! They are gorgeous!
The lights were beautiful, as always. It was way too crowded and way too much going on. It was nice to see more activities, however, it seemed to just clog up the area. I enjoyed it more when it was just lights.
Beautiful light display. I loved the dancing trees! Getting in line is a bit tricky. Follow Frosty!
The lights were beautiful, but it only took 6 minutes to see it all and we were driving really slow. Drove from Edmond to see them. Were disappointed because there was no Christmas music playing.
Love this park and all the different setups for the lights. As well as the different activities for the kiddos. Youre able to drive through the park if you dont feel like walking. They also have a horse carriage ride for a decent price. They have a camel ride for the kids, pictures can be taken with Santa. Hot chocolate and warm cookies can be purchased as well. The kids love feeding the ducks and the bridge decorations of lights make a wonderful background for pictures.
This has a special place in my heart, I go here with my girlfriend and I’m 100% always going to love it!
Always worth the drive. Beautiful lights and wonderful family fun.
Great light show!! Worth the drive, we drove 100 miles to see this light display.
Great lights
A nice Christmas light display in lovely park around a small lake. Very colorful. I walked thru which I think is better than driving thru for this light display.
