Saw Olaf at a Christmas Tree Lighting event in East Dundee IL and he was the absolute best! He was gentle. funny, knew how to talk to the little ones and made EVERYONE giggle - he even did Olafs voice perfectly! Highly recommend this company.
From YelpShital Vora Wrote:To the Park District of Oak Park,Our family had the pleasure of attending the sensory friendly Cookies with Santa last Wednesday at Cheney Mansion. As our little kiddo has challenges, attending events can be very stressful and overwhelming for him and subsequently for the whole family. I wanted to share how incredible of an experience we all had. It was just a few families at a time, everyone with kiddos that process things a little differently. The four of us went and it was a dimly lit, quiet atmosphere at Cheney Mansion. Our son walked in and lit up, helped himself to cookies and juice with ease (unlike him!) due to the relaxing surroundings. The Santa ( Jeff Blake) that was there was amazing - he knew just how to talk to our son and others. He encouraged deep breaths at times when it was necessary and knew just how to engage with these special kids. Our son found Santa and talked to Santa for about 15 minutes about dinosaurs with so with so much joy with a calm body. Our daughter was overjoyed too. We were blown away at how wonderful his approach and interaction was with the kids and parents. The other staff members were patient and so engaging with crafts and pictures, truly impressed. My husband and I were holding back happy tears at how amazing of an experience it was. It was one of the first experiences that went magically from beginning to end. We sincerely thank the Park District of Oak Park for hosting such an important and meaningful experience for these kiddos and families with different needs and will always be a supporter and advocate for more events as thoughtful as this in the future. If there is any way more of these events can take place and continue to be inclusive of kids with special needs, we will truly appreciate it.Thank you and have a wonderful holiday - ours already has been delightful thanks to this experience. All my best,Shital Vora (636 N Grove)
I requested a six foot redhead actress to come sing a few birthday songs to my father. Sure enough a tall, attractive six foot-ish woman arrived on time. She was lovely!!! She sang a few songs, was very sweet to my father, and brought tears to his eyes. Couldnt have been happier!
Hired Marshall for my nieces birthday and she was very, very nice to my niece and every one else at the party! Was very good at face painting and balloon tying. Would definitely call this place again.
Jeff Blake, this years Easter Bunny 2019, was hired as the Magician at our Hotel events and since 2014 has entertained primarily at our Easter and Mothers Day Brunches, also as Santa Claus. He has consistently been respectful of the kids and their families. A friendly entertainer, Jeff has offered expert close-up magic and superb balloon twisting for all the eager children at our holiday brunches. Ive always appreciated his ability to be flexible and enjoyed his pleasant personality. A magician who is prompt and can read an audience makes him a great pleasure to work with.Lindsay SrednickiDirector of Food and BeverageThe Langham Hotel, Chicago330 North Wabash Avenue
Recently at a 2 year old birthday party and they were the entertainment. They were so unprofessional. Minnie removed her head in front of the children cause she could not see. Mickey and Minnie both were dated in their appearance. The magician was totally out of line with his remarks he was making with the children. He would say things like what happens when you tape your brother to the fridge or your dog to the ceiling fan and turn it on or put your cat in the microwave totally disgusting. Do yourself a favor and don’t hire them or attend a party they are at.
From YelpFarah A.Chicago, IL5.0 star rating 6/4/2018We hired Professor McGonagall from Harry Potter come to our daughters 7th Harry Potter Birthday and she was very professional and did a great job. She performed a sorting hat ceremony which was fantastic, sorting the kids into houses based on fun facts about their personalities. She then painted faces. It was the perfect addition to our Harry Potter party theme! They also have Hagrid who can come and do magic but we didnt have him at our party.
From Gig MastersJuly 2019A lot of people think they can perform magic. Jeff Blake not only performs tricks, but, more importantly, he also knows how to entertain. He’s one of the most gifted childrens performers I have seen, and his storytelling magic is wonderfully imaginative. He is Hagrid, performing and looking like that favorite character.” – Nancy Holan Winthrope, Lindenhurst IL
I had a bad experience with this. Clare did not return my call day of my party due to the fact that the character I was expecting DID NOT SHOW. I paid advance for a service I didnt receive. All of my guest at my sons 4th Birthday were expecting this and it was ruined. 2 stars for some effort that the Day after she called me back after 3 messages and various calls and she refunded my money back and said she will send me a gift certificate.
