So.. I had Michael and upbeat orchestra play my wedding way, way WAY back in 2015. Then and now, it was the SINGLE BEST thing I did for the wedding besides actually show up and get married. Im not kidding - music was beautiful (we literally just had our 5th anniversary and my aunt mentioned UpBeats performance). They learned several songs for our wedding, which included but was not limited to: dean martin sway (wife request/first dance) and the Indiana Jones theme (my request - no regrets). Michael was a fantastic and professional MC too! The whole band was outstanding and friendly (like, when my dad kept bothering the guitarist because he looks just like Eric Clapton (he does btw) -- he didnt get mad or pretentious, he just acted smooth!)Im so sorry I never did this review before. If they still perform in 5 years, they will absolutely be playing my 10th anniversary if they will let me hire them again.

We had a wonderful experience with the Upbeat Orchestra. We hired Upbeat for our wedding in June 2019 but are just now getting around to writing up the review. We hired the 10-piece orchestra and they were amazing. We had a solo piano player for our cocktail hour, a jazz trio for dinner, and the 10-piece orchestra for about a 3.5 hour dance party after dinner.They were easy to work with and have a very extensive inventory of songs. They worked with us to create a unique set list with lots of variety--something for everyone. They also learned a few new songs for us and they were great. Amazing singers, amazing instrumentals, just great all around. Michael also served as the emcee and did a wonderful job working with the venue and keeping everything on schedule.The dance floor was full the entire time, both with the younger crowd and also lots of people in our parents and grandparents generation. Everyone kept asking for their name and contact at the reception because they were so good. Our guests still bring up how good they were six months later. We would highly recommend without any hesitation. Other than choice of spouse (obviously), hiring Upbeat was one of the best wedding-planning decisions that we made.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Michael and the UpBeat Orchestra. My family and friends have worked with UpBeat Orchestra for 5 different weddings. Each performance was custom built to fit the bride and groom’s musical taste. Michael is a dedicated leader who will walk you through every detail of their process for assembling the music set list. This really helped us understand how much they plan, practice, and care about every performance. They will even learn and rehearse new music to make sure every song request is met. Working with Michael and UpBeat Orchestra allowed my husband and I to relax when it came to music – they are very professional and know how to get the dance floor going! They truly helped make our dream reception come to life!

Michael Cascio and the band provided music for our daughters wedding. From the start Michael was professional and courteous. Michael is unprofessional and unethical. After verbally committing to me that Upbeat was on hold for my wedding date, Michael proceeded to book another couple who wanted a larger band. Michael then went completely incommunicado. Think very carefully before you hire Upbeat and make sure you get a contract written in stone because Michael’s word is worth nothing.

Upbeat band was amazing and really made our wedding so special. My wife and I were looking for a band, and we are really happy that we were able to work with Upbeat. Michael and his group of amazing musicals are so talented and very professional. They played great music before, during and after the ceremony as well as they put on a dance party to remember. Our family and friends were all blown away by how awesome Upbeat was. I would recommend them to anyone. Michael is very easy to work with and he is extremely organized and will deliver with an amazing performance. I cant thank Upbeat enough for helping to make so many lastly memories of our wedding day.

The Upbeat Band & Orchestra played at out wedding on June 1 of this year. They were FANTASTIC. Michael, the band director, was incredibly organized and was key in making our reception run smoothly. The band came all the way to Michigan and accommodated us in so many ways. They were very easy to work with.We did a couple of special dances that they learned the music to and did a fabulous job. Our guests gave them so many compliments...one of them even got Upbeats info for their sons wedding! The dance floor was full from beginning to end, just like Michael said it would be.We are SO grateful that we booked UpBeat and would recommend them to anyone. Their prices are very fair as well, in comparison to some of the other bands we looked into.Thanks UpBeat! The best and most important decision of the wedding is always the music. It is what changes a fun wedding to an INCREDIBLE one. From the very start they were extremely responsive and more importantly excited to play for us. We had them play the entire event, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner hour and dancing. Literally there was not one moment the dance floor wasn’t packed. We had a great planning session and Michael really was able to pick up on what we loved and what type of vibe we wanted. Although I had many favorite moments, one of the last songs “Shout” topped the night! I cannot say enough about the quality, the enthusiasm, professionalism that this group brings. There is no need to keep shopping around The Upbeat Orchestra is a 110% the way to go!

Michael and the Upbeat Orchestra were simply phenomenal. They put together a great plan ahead of time for the wedding so that everything flowed smoothly. They used our preferences for music and also suggested certain other songs to make sure there was an eclectic mix everyone would enjoy. They even learned a couple of songs that we requested. They promised that people would be out on the dance floor and enjoying themselves, and they truly lived up to it. I have never seen a bigger crowd consistently out on a dance floor for an entire evening. Simply put, everyone at the Upbeat Orchestra was fantastic and I highly recommend them!

Michael and the Upbeat Orchestra performed for our wedding and they were terrific! Michael was so organized and professional - everything ran so smoothly. We used their violin and piano players for the ceremony and they were able to learn and play beautifully some custom music that we requested. The band was so flexible and they learned songs that we requested for the reception. My Dad is a musician and they even allowed him to perform a couple of songs with them! We couldnt believe how accommodating they were, but mostly we let Michael do his thing because he really knows what he is doing. They truly made our wedding a special night and an event that will always be remembered. We had so many guests tell us it was one of the most fun weddings they have ever attended, and it is all thanks to Michael and his incredible band!

The Band was fantastic! So many people came up to me during the wedding and said how great the band was. I think it is really nice to have live music during the reception, and people were getting excited as they saw the band starting to set up.They played a great mix of classic hits and modern songs that people loved. The band also played every song that I requested, as well as learned several new songs for both the wedding ceremony as well as the reception. Michael was super easy to work with, responded to every email, and was great at coaching you along every step (he probably stayed more on top of things than I did). He was also great at MCing at the reception, and kept the night moving along smoothly.I would strongly recommend the upbeat orchestra to anyone looking for a great band to play at their wedding!

UpBeat Orchestra performed for our daughters wedding at the Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile on 2/25/2017. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!!! The dance floor was jam packed ALL NIGHT LONG. They worked patiently with our daughter prior to the wedding to make a customized song list. They learned a song that bride and groom wanted for their first dance. Our friends and family continue to rave about them. Michael Cascio and his team are amazingly talented professionals.

I dont have enough positive things to say about Michael and the Upbeat Orchestra. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Michael was very customer-focused and detail-oriented in terms of making every little piece of the reception move like clockwork, and it did! He was very knowledgeable and able to make a lot of great recommendations to us - I was really overwhelmed with the details of planning our event and he was SO helpful. He was so amazingly responsive through the entire process - honestly I would have never expected this kind of high-level customer service from a band. Before we booked this band, we went to see them perform, we were standing outside of the ballroom of some corporate event, and MORE THAN ONE set of people (strangers to us) came up to us saying things like that band is amazing! you should go in there!! Needless to say, we booked them shortly thereafter. The performance they gave at our wedding was phenomenal! Our guests - young and old- could not stop complimenting the band, people were like where did you FIND these guys?!?! They were very open to learning something new for us, and they learned not one but two new songs at our request, one of which we used for our first dance, and I was SOOO happy with the way that turned out! I will never forget it. Our guests were partying on the dance floor all night, there was never a lull! On top of all this, the band is having FUN doing what they are doing- which is SO important! The 10 piece orchestra gives a real wow factor, and their pricing is very reasonable. They offer a great variety of music as well and really work with you to customize your experience. If you are looking to book a wedding band please do NOT miss the opportunity to book the Upbeat Orchestra, you will be more than pleased with your decision. Other than that, I cant say much else other than I will never be able to thank Michael and the Upbeat Orchestra enough for making our wedding reception absolutely perfect!

Upbeat performed at my daughters wedding. Michael and the band did an outstaning job of keeping the dance floor packed for the entire 3 hours. PLUS the musice played during cocktails and dinner was perfect. PLUS Michael made the everning run very smooth by putting together a timeline on every minute. Thus i was able to relax and party knowing exactly when i needed to give my toast etc. Very organized, professional, talented. What really made the evening was that I think the Band enjoyed themselves as much as the guests. It was one big party! You can not go wrong with Upbeat Orchestra.- Father of the Bride!!!!!!

UpBeat Orchestra provided music for my daugthers wedding reception. Piano music during the cocktail hour, a Jazz combo during dinner and a full 10 piece band after dinner. They provided an over the top experience for all that were there. The volume was controlled so our guests could visit at the tables, and simulataneously kept the dance floor full all evening. They learned special music for the wedding party entry. fisrt dance, Father Daughter dance and Mother Son dances. The Chicago blues set was over the top. One guest commented they thought they came to a wedding reception and were treated to a music concert.Michael and his group proved that the only choice for a quality experience is Live Music.
