My kickball and dodgeball teams switched from another rec sports company to LTS Chicago a few years ago, and it was the best decision weve ever made! Every LTS team picks a charity to represent, and both teams spend a minute talking about their charity at the beginning of every match. This sets them apart from other rec leagues and really makes the games feel worthwhile and even more fun – but not at the expense of friendly competition! Incredibly, despite the donation to the charity represented by the champions of every league, signup costs and fees are very competitive with and often cheaper than other rec leagues. To top it all off, their staff is PHENOMENAL and have gone out of their way to accommodate us and the other teams in our leagues time and time again. I give LTS my highest possible recommendation!
Playing for LTS has given me the chance to meet some of my closest friends! The league and the refs are awesome. It’s competitive yet so much fun. I’ve played for a couple of sports leagues but this one is the best one bar none!
I’ve met some great folks playing in this league! It’s difficult moving to a new city and LTS/Zog helps individuals from all different back grounds come together in such a large city. It’s also one of the few leagues in the city that values service, allowing winning teams to choose a charity to donate money too. The sports are well organized, good communication, and the refs have been a delight to interact with.
We have played kickball for many years with LTS. The teams are fun and the staff is amazing too. They always keep you updated about rainouts and other issues that may affect weekly play. Things get competitive sometimes but never to the point when it’s no longer fun. Everyone wants to win the giant check (literally) for their charity which is ultimately why we play to begin with.
Yea no, dont. Just dont. Its not worth the time. LTS was great, very well organized, competitive leagues. So much so I would play in two to 3 different leagues in the same season on different nights. I started played with them since 2010. ZOG took over about a year ago, and its been nothing short of pathetic. I have never had so many games get cancelled or forfeit because there was not enough players on the other team. I do not recall a single moment that happened with LTS, but ZOG came into the picture we had 3 games cancelled or forfeit last season because there was not another team another 1 this season. One of those games was a SEMI FINAL game, we advanced to the finals without even playing a game! This season there have been times there has been only 1 ref, thus No Offsides. Lastly, I have tried to access the new site to view my teams schedule, I could not like I previously had with LTS. So after multiple failed attempts I tried calling and emailing them. No response from emails and Voicemail is full. It should say, LTS Chicago powered by Poop, cause that is what it is. Thankfully Chicago has a large soccer community and I can find leagues elsewhere, just unfortunate cause this was a nice field and the competition as far as coed was actually competitive.
Signed up and paid for a mens soccer league in September that started in October. Was never contacted about what team I would be assigned to and what my schedule would be. I have tried to contact their office via email and phone for over two weeks now to no avail. Had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge and mark it as fraud. Somebody is not doing their job in the Zog Sports Chicago office. I am going to stick with PLAYERS going forward.
I played dodgeball through LTS and it was a lot of fun! Our league had a great deal with the sponser bar. It’s also awesome to be able raise money for charity by participating in such a fun league!
Great leauge with thats affordable and lots of fun! The refs are super nice and its a great way to raise money for charity.
Ive played with LTS for a few seasons. One thing thats always struck me was how great the staff and refs are. They always seem to try to get to know the teams and players, which just makes for an even better experience!
I really enjoy playing for a charity league. While playing for LTS, i have been able to donate to 5 different charities just by doing something i love to do
I knew about Zog when I lived in NYC but didnt actually join until moving to Chicago. All my friends in NYC always raved about Zog and I can see why; they tradition of awesomeness has carried over to Chicago. Love my kickball team and have made some friends for life. Zog is always really well organized and has great reps working for them, and kind/ fair refs. Its just plain fun, with no drama--and I like that!
Love LTS! Such a great organization with very loyal and dedicated staff & players supporting and living out their mission every day. Awesome & competitive leagues. Ive played flag football and sand volleyball for many years and keep playing year after year. Definitely check out LTS if youre looking for a sports league in Chicago and to play for a good cause!
Most competent refs than any other rec league in the city which is highly valued.
Ive played in a variety of LTS Leagues over the last 5+ years, and they have always been professionally run, organized, and really fun! The LTS team is comprised of a great group of individuals who truly care about supporting local charities, which is one of the many reasons to participate in a league. I highly recommend LTS!
LTS is the best sports league in Chicago! I played with the competitors in the past but once you play for LTS you will never want to leave. Your team gets to play on behalf of a charity (one of their partner charities or ANY charity that you care about!) and if you win they donate money to that charity. They also help spread awareness about charities at each game, online, etc. I have been part of volleyball, kickball, softball, and dodgeball with LTS and have met awesome people. The players are great and staff is very professional and reliable. Come play with LTS!
Great time with friends and the LTS staff/refs are also fun every week!
LTS is the best! I have played in LTS leagues for over three years now, and they never fail to disappoint. I really enjoy playing in and supporting a league that has such a charitable mission. Its fun, competitive, well-organized, full of good people, and supports a good cause. What else can you ask for in a sports league? Give LTS a try!
Ive played in a few adult sports leagues in the city and LTS is hands down the best. Mark & co make the league fun AND the charity aspect is great. Big thumbs up.
Good way to hang with friends & well-run!
Ive played LTS Soccer at Hawthorne Academy 7v7 Coed for years. The people who run the leagues are great and the games are fun and competitive. I love being able to play soccer and support their partner charities in the city. Id reccomend people give them a try!
LTS is an organization that really set themselves apart from other Chicago Sports Leagues in caring for all the athletes and the causes we support. I have been in maybe 15-20 leagues over the years and every league was run smoothly, friendly refs and awesome that we get a big check to the charity of our choice after we win the championship.
I recently started playing with LTS Chicago and love their idea of supporting local charities. The games are competitive, everything is well organized by the LTS staff, and playing for a charity of your choice makes it all that more meaningful and worthwhile.
Well organized and run league all for a good cause. Been playing with LTS for 4+ years now, highly recommended.
Well organized and competitive leagues for a great cause. Best rec sports in the city!
Have been playing in their soccer league for the last 6 years. Fun leagues for a great cause!
Great staff! Awesome locations, love playing sports for a cause!
Fun and competitive sports leagues of all kinds for a good cause!!
LTS ftw!
