I had a phenomenal time at Ians class. He has great energy and patience. He knows how to give good guidance and advice, but also just allow you to explore and be creative. I learned some new techniques and walked away with a piece Im really happy with and so is my pooch! It was a wonderful way to spend my Friday evening after a long and busy week!

My teenager and I attended a Paint Your Pup class last weekend, and it was awesome! I originally signed up because it was being hosted as a fundraiser for a cause that I wanted to support. (Thank you for your generosity and community spirit Sit Social and Ian Sherwin Gallery!) Even my stick figure drawings are laughable, so my expectations of producing anything good were low. I was mostly going just to have fun with friends. However, with Ians guidance, both my daughter and I were able to finish amazing portraits. He never touched our canvases, but was able to teach and recommend brush strokes and shading to help us create the looks we wanted. I did our family dog and she did a relatives dog that recently passed away, which will make a very sweet Christmas gift. The three hours flew by! Go! Tap the inner artist you dont even know you have!

Highly recommend for a night out with friends and wine. You learn a few different techniques and get to paint your own piece. At the end of the night, everyone ends up with a different painting, which is awesome!

My girlfriend and I came on a Saturday night to paint and relax. It was awesome! Ian showed us different painting techniques to achieve whatever we wanted to paint in whatever style we chose. His expertise and positivity makes the entire process enjoyable and simple! It wasn’t your typical “wine and paint” session, which was so relieving and exciting! My friend and I attended the most awesome painting class at the Ian Sherwin Gallery last night!I wanted to paint a portrait and my friend wanted to paint abstract. Ian was able to accommodate everyone in the class. Everyone got to paint in the style they wanted. I really liked that he lets you grab your own brushes and paints. In other classes you are waiting your turn and the instructor gives you little tiny bits of paint. Ian let us grab whatever amount, color, and type we needed.Ian asked to see some of my paintings that I have done at home. He told me my work was really good and he gave me the confidence and direction I was lacking. He inspired me to pursue painting for additional income and even invited me back to paint or discuss ideas further. Ian also inspired us by showing us some of the other artists work that he has helped over the years in his gallery.It was a life-changing evening and I truly appreciate Ian with his easy going approach, artistic instruction, and the confidence and inspiration he instilled with each and everyone in the class!

My ultimate favorite! Good vibes, amazing music, atmosphere and great host. Ian make this experience extraordinary! My group of 30 plus girls where thrilled and loved every single moment we spend there. I would highly recommend this place for all kind events- girls night out, birthday party or anything else... Thank you Ian we will be back for sure!

My family did a BYOB painting night here and we all had a blast! Even my family members who had never painted before left with beautiful paintings that they were very proud of. Ian did a great job helping everyone learn the techniques needed to create something beautiful. Also, unlike other painting classes, Ian helps you to paint something that you chose. Great experience!!

We came to the gallery for a BYOB painting night for a birthday party. The experience was anything but ordinary. Instead of following the same photo as a guide, with a formulaic approach to painting, Ian encourages creativity. We werent lead step by step through the same painting. To start, Ian showed us different techniques and suggest we paint something we wanted to, rather than all painting the same photo. Ian is an artist, teacher, and super patient with helping people find their creativity.

Ian is an amazing artist! Hes a well grounded Multi talented man. As a artist and Graphic Designer; Its exciting to learn from Ian and I cant wait to learn more. As an Artist I approve this message!!

Had an amazing time painting! Learned a variety of art techniques from an amazing artist who is super knowledgeable, friendly and easy going. He stands back and lets us explore our inner Picasso while guiding us in the right direction only when he is asked to. He doesnt interrupt our creative process and lets us run free with our imagination. If I could give more stars, I would!

My girlfriend and I had a blast in Ians painting class! Hes funny and extremely helpful. The atmosphere is awesome and I definitely recommend taking his classes. Ian will answer any question you have and will go out of his way to show you different painting tricks.

Ian is a true artist! This isnt the traditional sip and paint a general image for the day. Instead he encourages you to paint something you want and to try a style outside of your comfort zone. It is a easy going environment as he shows you new and very easy techniques!He offers input when asked but doesnt take over your piece.I would def. come here again!

Ian seriously brought out the artistic side that I didnt even know I had in me! Haha Such a wonderful experience! He made us feel comfortable once we walked right in the studio! I definitely will be coming back asap!

So much fun! A real art studio experience complete with jazz, paint everywhere, and a gifted artist and instructor! Bravo . My husband and I actually framed our paintings!

Birthday party blast - we had a group of 12 for a really fun birthday party. I havent painted since middle school and I am planning to come back!

Byob painting was an extremely fun experience!
