We had a wonderful time! Irene the caretaker, came to open up the gallery when we called her! So generous. Then she gave us a tour, which was very informative and illuminating! Works from the 1893 Columbian Exposition among others. What a wonderful treasure at the Field House, and what a wonderful lady. Thanks Irene!
Great place lots of good artwork to see and its free! Hidden gem in the city. Only down side is the limited hours, but a grateful place.
Interesting collection of local 20th-C artists housed in an unlikely location.
Collection was threadbare and in real need of conservation. I brought severl other serious issues to this group and was completly discounted I fear for this Valuable and pricless cultureal treasure. leadership seems to be totally incapalbe of addressing these issues.
Worth the visit! Make it an afternoon fieldtrip!
