Nice 3 plus mile loop. A few gentle hills and one short steep one going counter clockwise. Not crowded

Enjoyed the natural beauty of the forest preserves as a child in the 70s-80s. At the time, it was not a place you wanted to be after nightfall. Time has been good to these woods. It appears cleaner and safe now. Miss it greatly.

Paved trail that is 3.46 miles long. A great place to get away from the suburbs and feel like you are in nature again. Highly recommend.

Limited in size and traks, but very nice and convinent.

Scary like the movies! But a true nature trail. And dont back your car in ! Pull foward lol you know what they say.

Access to the best bicycle trail in the area. Several places to seek shelter from the rain.Trail is good workout .

If you are Mexican or a single female stay away. Police still have not found the killer of a Mexican lady killed on the trail and thrown into the lake around 2007. Dont believe me? Google: Alma Mendez Sauk Trial Forest Preserve. I have seen kids riding gas powered mini bikes around on the trail, forest preserve employees looking for males flashing people, drunk homeless open carry alcohol, womens underwear, on and on and on. Everyone that parks and doesnt get out of there car...up to no good. Watch yourself out there.

Nice quiet and relaxing park to walk alone or walk your dog at.

I walk here on the weekends - beautiful, clean and often full of couples and families walking the trail around the lake.

Great place just need a little more choice of bathroom and electric output for family get together

This preserve is well maintained, crime is very low and its a quiet place to enjoy a walk or hang out. The previous review brings up alot of things from the past but things like that can happen anywhere.

In the 80s awesome now look out or you will see hookers working there smoking crack and can end up killed and tossed in the lake, stay away unless you like crack and hookers
