Chesterton Park

I brought my grandchildren here and now my great grandchild. It is so nice now with the new turf and play equipment. The new sprinkler pad is really nice, we havent used this yet, and wow, the kids go home clean!

This splash pad is great for the entire family

Definitely not the same as it used to be, sadly. Still a great place to go.

I love this park when they have lots of kids and music playing, but it was kind of depressing because of Covid and all the last time we went. The splash pad wasnt on. Didnt seem like there was much for a two year old to do.

I live in the area, and I went high school next to Chesterton Park. Its a great place to take your kids to play on the playground at the park, but Im bias, though.

Good place to take kids for the park games, also a good place to watch or play some baseball at their fields. Not many places to sit and relax for a park.

Plenty of places to sit and can see kids from pretty much any spot on the playground, same goes for the splash pad. Was great for my toddlers and older kids.

Just a beautiful place to visit, and the European market every Saturday in the summer is always fun to walk around and get some delicious food.

I really love that the Chesterton Park Department put in this Splash Pad. Its big enough for the kids to have fun and cool off after/during playing at Friendship Park, which is right down the sidewalk in the same location. My kids really love going there and playing.

People kept setting parts of the nice wooden park on fire, now theres just a regular old plastic jungle gym about 1/20th of the size of the original park.
