Favourite pub in Chester, great staff, great atmosphere, great music!

Incredible place. Unfortunately didnt get any pictures. They have pianists on a Friday. Very small but extremely welcoming and great music. A good selection of real music. Mainly jazz and swing! Great service.

Great little jazz bar. Unexpected find whilst out in Chester and Im glad we did find it. Had a pianist on playing some jazz while we sat and enjoyed a beer. Loved it.

Cosy but they didnt have the ingredients for an old fashioned. A bit surprising for a Saturday evening. Hopefully next time!

What an amazing place. We were looking for a place, not crowded but with a nice atmosphere after lovely dinner at the Grosvenor, and this was it! My Wife has very high standards, and really lived it here. Tom was a perfect host and we will definitely be back soon!It was closed last night 18/1/19....does anyone know if its closed for good? I do hope not!

Fab! So small but so cozy. Brilliant player on the piano also. Would be nice if the drinks were cheaper but you could say that about anywhere in Chester.

Great atmosphere, awesome wine and if you like jazz you will also love the music in the background as well as the decoration. No food though. The place is quite small, just few tables, which is probably what this bar and is so nice.

Bloody love this place!Limited but good wine and beer choices, lots of gin and whisky to chose from, all accompanied by lovely music and excellent staff

Best time to b in this place is in the quiet times. Its tiny in terms of space but huge in character. Turn table with vinyl records spinning good old jazz mhsic. And if u r lucky like me, a cool musician to play out his instrument. What a privilege. I might just hang out here more .

Went along with friends on the 1st of February and had an amazing time, a piano player complemented the wonderful Jaz atmosphere, great to have live music with a good range of drinks, a truely relaxing evening, thanks to Ben, Tom and Aled, we will be back!!!

An Excellent Hidden Gem that is slightly tucked away. Chilled atsomphere and came Recommended by a friend and had a brilliant night! Will deffo be returning to sample some of the lovely whiskys and Wine!
