Even with the pandemic and everything being shut down the park still open. YAY!!There is a sign saying play at your own risk this park is not sanitized. I love that. Maybe one in ten kids right now where masks to play. But everyone is still nice and respectful. They are still adding new things to play with.Absolutely love this playground. It is very big with lots to play on. It does have flushing toilets but there are a little bit of a walk away through the parking lot.
I went here last season to see Seven Bridges Road, an Eagles tribute band. There were a lot of people that attended the show, but the area is big and the flow of traffic was handled well. The band was very good. There were multiple food trucks there to offer food and beverages for reasonable fees. There were plenty of garbage cans to help keep the place clean. The crowd was well behaved and pleasant. I understand they have several shows here annually. I would recommend watching a show here and Id certainly come here again for a future show.Good times!
I love this park and go there several times a week where i meet my friend. We walk around the path and park area until we hit 3 miles and enjoy the lovely scenery. They are always cleaning and grooming the park and keep it beautiful. Before covid i used to take my grandchildren to play and they loved it. A great addition to Cheshire.
Great park. So much to do. My grandchildren loved it
Great park for kids. I would guess that the play area is appropriate for ages 3-8.
It was a great baseball complex. Kept well.
Ample parking and a nice variety in the skate park
Great park for the younger kids to play at.
Great place to play pokemon go
Nice and clean park...plenty of parking.
Great place for kids!
They have the best playground
Awesome kids area.
Wonderful community park, Ive taken my grandchildren to this park since they were to young to walk. We have enjoyed the swimming pool and two weeks ago watched the boys play T ball -- such a great place for all ages. The summer evening concerts are well attended by folks both young and old.
Is gated playground for the little one to enjoy the outdoors without worrying of running in to the parking areas.
Really great park, shade and benches for the parents and plenty different things for the kids. One of my daughters favorites for sure. Also gotta love that it still has a skate park where other towns have since done away with theirs
Such a wonderful playground for children! Very roomy and safe. With a variety of unusual childrens sporty tools.
Fenced in play area makes it great for keeping track of kids. Great assortment of activities. Playscapes for big and small kids, swings (including handicapped), small climbing/bouldering wall, sand box/area, rope (spider web) climbing area, merry go round, seesaws, other weird spinning things too. There is water and a large pavilion. Major draw back is bathrooms are often locked, porta potties are sometimes available but both are roughly a 3 day drive from the playground. There is a pool very close which is amazing, but you need a rather expensive membership to go inside. If you dont have to ever use the bathroom, its perfect.
Beautiful playground w/ ample parking. Playground has numerous areas for all age groups including toddler-> teen. Grounds are nicely kept and Cheshire PD has surveillance cameras running for nice added peace of mind. Large parking lot and there are always events going on that families can attend. Pool was a waste of taxpayer money though.....
Great park for toddlers to age 10. Bigger kids dont have a ton of options other than the fields. I did see a frisbee golf course (3 goals I could spot). There is a community pool available (at a fee of course) but it is accessible year round.
I love this park. Its big so there is lots of room for the little ones to run around, and very well maintained/clean. The sandbox area a nice addition, along with the shaded picnic area. We enjoy this park, and love the live music in the summer.
Nice family park. I did not stayed there for long but the community pools appeared to be used a lot. Lots meets held there, which is a good thing... I will be holding my kid bday party at this pool.
The kids love the playground, the whole family enjoys all the fun events. Fun for everyone.

Great park for the kids. Baseball, soccer, lacrosse fields and a pool!
The playground here is very nice. The pool area is also very nice and anyone can get in for a fee.
Quaint little park with a nice mix of things to do, and a wonderful dedication area to loved ones that weve lost. Be sure to bring a painted rock or two, to leave/share/trade at this beautiful tree with a touching story!
Has very fun things to play on but the bouncey tire thing is broken
Awesome place to take the kids
Great place to take your kids lot of space play soccer, skate, etc

Outstanding playground and equipment.

Absolutely perfect park for children. Safe enclosed and many different play areas. People are friendly and a pavilion directly inside the park to have snacks or lunch.

Bartlem park is the heart of Cheshire. It has a playground, the town pool, community garden and ball fields. This is where town festivals are held, as well as childrens birthday parties and ball games. This last is one of the big reasons that makes Cheshire a great place to raise kids.
Nice clean park for the kids

Great place for little kids
Playground, skate park, athletic fields, public pool and plenty of parking make this a great place.
Clean well kept
Park is great for little kids to run around, there is open fields where you can fly kites or have a baseball or football pass for older kids.
Great recreation area. Lots of fields, swimming pool, and playground for children.
The one place my kids are always ready to go!
Fun place....
Bartlem park has many sporting events, and festivals. It also had a park that is great for any young kids.
Great location and good times at their local annual festival.
Great friendly place staff excellent food awesome
Nice quiet park considering the prison is across the street...
Wish there was more shade.
Great night of music with a few friends
Nice park
Great place. Big playground and picnic area.
Amazing park...kids love it!
Any place that has a skatepark is lit
Safe and huge playground for children of all ages!
We were there for a baseball game, there were plenty of shady spots for spectators to sit at field #1, but the dugouts should have some sort of cover over them so the kids have some reprieve from the sun.
Handicap accessible, many things for the kids to do.
One word! Beautiful
Lots to do
Nice large open place to fly a kite!
Playground is great for kids of all ages!
Always a good time at the Fall festival
