First time out in a public forum in months. Family had a great time!!! We all felt very safe in the environment as it appeared safety measures above and beyond those required were implemented. Moreover, the staff was outstanding!!! Kudos to the team!!! Well be back. Will certainly recommend to family and friends. Thank you so very much!!!

My 9 year old nephew loved this place we where at the arcade area called game mania and he enjoyed every second of it. They sanitized everything every 30 minutes. Felt safe in the arcade room great job Big Event.

First Time there! On a first date. My date and I both had a fun time. This place makes us over 40 folks feel like a kid again! Well be back!

My girlfriend and I love coming to this place. It has everything we like in one building: bowling, arcades, redemption center, crane games, billiards, ping pong, shuffleboard, and so many more. The prices are great when you come for the specials after 9PM, which is unlimited bowling, arcade games (non ticket games), billiards, etc. We usually like to rack up many tickets to save for something big, especially on the Spongebob game (even though we jam it multiple times). Even the food here is great with many selections and they even have a bar. I always want to bring a bigger group here with us so we can have even more fun. Cant wait to visit again. Its just unfortunately too far to travel to many times.

Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! Monday, Wednesday & Friday are half price arcade games from 6pm till close. Cant beat that!

You just cant beat the weekday value. $10 all you can bowl. Friendly staff. Plastic dividers between lanes for health safety measures.

This place low key rules. sure, its a bowling alley..... but its not Just a Bowling Alley. Their arcade is actually pretty impressive. a whole room for billiards. they were building new attractions as well. havent been here in a while. drank 4 free on the company dime. the bartenders were nice . good times

This place was so fun! Very neat, and clean. Plus the Thursday night deal (unlimited bowl, or arcade, or pool lounge) was a great one!

Great liquor and awesome food! One stop fun shop for bowling, arcade, pool tables and table tennis. Very diverse environment and open until late. The only suggestion I would have to give them the full 5 stars is the music. They have a set track list which is pretty outdated and boring. If they were to get a DJ in there it would be top notch.

The Big Event is the best bowling in South Jersey. I’ve been a least a dozen times, including some company outings. Last time we were there Maggie, Julie and the event staff did an amazing job for us. Customer service is always top notch. Highly recommend the garlic parmesan bone-in wings.

This place is shady. I set up a reservation for some military members and myself to go bowling for $15, and something came up. There was about 1 hour between me setting up the reservation and canceling it. And the ladies over the phone would not budge at ALL with a refund. At best a gift card to the bowling ally. SHADY

Its got bowling, billiards, ping pong, arcade and a bar w a good craft beer selection believe it or not and a decent liquor variety. It also has halfway decent bar food depending on who ya have on the line. Jay Bs the guy you want back there if you want food. Trina and Mary are great when it comes to service. If ya like staying active while banging out with your bros or bae, this is a good option!

Not a bad place to go with friends or family. The food and drinks are cheap. Lots of different options for both. Very small bar area though but there is plenty of seating throughout so I suppose that makes up for it. The bowling alley area was big. There were quite a few lanes available. Great seating around the lanes where you can eat and drink. The arcade is kind of small but has a good variety of games to play. Prices are kind of weird but overall not too bad. The billiards area wasnt too bad. Good amount of tables to play. Relaxed atmosphere. Overall not a bad place to hang out, play some games, and drink. I would go back again for sure.

We booked an arcade birthday party for our son, and we were so disappointed with what was included in the party package. I had called and spoke to Krysta prior to booking to make sure this was the right venue for us, and I specifically asked how many games they had and if their games were good for kids age 3-5 (because while the birthday boy was turning 7, most of our guests are younger). I was told that there were 80ish games and plenty that were great for the young crowd. What she failed to mention was that the games that were included in the 1 hr of free play were few and geared towards older kids. There are basically two air hockey tables, 3 driving games, 4 shooting games, and a basketball game, all of which were not age appropriate for our crew. Most of the games in the arcade are not included in the free play, and instead are covered under the $15 game play part of the package deal. The problem is that I had been told that the $15 was for claw machines and similar games, so I thought $15 for claw machines was plenty. But since most of the games in arcade are in this category, you very quickly spend the $15 you are given. Prior to the party starting, I asked if there were any other packages that we could switch to because of the disappointment with the games included in the 1 hr free play, and I was told that the only option is to upgrade to the $20 game card (which basically gets each guest only 3 more games). I was frustrated not only by the lack of selection and included games, but also by the lack of transparency about these games, and the deception when asked about the games and their age levels. We will not be coming back or recommending an arcade party to anyone. Stick with bowling parties at the Big Event and go to Chuck E Cheese if youre looking for games for kids under the age of 9.

So much fun. Took my kids bowling here for the first time and they loved it. Reasonably priced and am overall enjoyable experience. My three year old says the music is too loud but otherwise we all had a great time.

Loved the atmosphere. Didnt feel cramped like other bowling alleys. Decent food!

I have been going to The Big Event/Playdrome since I was a little boy. I also, over the last few years, have had the privilege of working there. This place is a second home to me. The staff and management treats everyone there like family, making it a wholesome, warm, welcoming place to be!The food is amazing also, with a wide selection of options to choose from! So, if you are looking to be treated to an amazing night out, whether it is with friends or for league, as well as to be treated like family, this is definitely the place to be!

I remember this place when it was the Playdrome back when I was growing up. The update they have made for the bowling portion is amazing. Very kid friendly, comfortable seating, and a number of food options (vending machines or actual food). When I walked in, I was flooded with so many memories. Now Im making new ones with my kids in taking them bowling.

Today my 4 year old daughter’s preschool (Resurrection Catholic School) had their annual end of year party at The Big Event. The kids and parents had a great time! Pam coordinated the cutest and seamless party; super fun way to start to close the school year! Highly recommend! -Sarah

Came for the first time for free Moms Day event, which was awesome to include free bowling and arcade card. I liked that it wasnt super loud and us 3 adults had a great time. I appreciated the service was friendly and helpful!

I recently had my sons birthday party here and I wouldn’t do it again. The party host made my guest and myself feel very uncomfortable because he was hovering over the party the entire time and didn’t give us any personal space. I’ve had parties at other places and the party host stays in the area and checks in from time to time to see if we need anything. The host also took it upon himself to go upfront and tell the manager that adults were in my section that weren’t apart of the party without asking me were they my guest. They were my guest and that was embarrassing having them questioned about why they were there. This was my first and last time having a party here

Always a great experience here. Have always encountered friendly staff. My son really likes the arcade. The food is good and as a food allergy mom, its important to choose a place with options for my sons. Management always checks the ingredients for me or brings out the ingredient card. Two thumbs up!!!

The employees complained about my group asking to put our bumpers back up and down RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR FACES. Keep in mind, we were with a 10 and 13 year old who wanted to try no bumpers but decided to switch back after struggling without them. It literally took them 5 seconds to turn the bumpers back on, yet the employees still felt the need to complain TO US.If youre gonna complain about pressing a button on a computer to help a child, then get a new job.

Great value. Always a deal for bowling and the bar has a great beer selection, the food may be casual but has never disappointed, and is prepared quickly too. Cant beat it. Also the counter girl and bartender are both friendly and helpful.

Love going to this place. Whats a nice place to enjoy with family or friends. I personally like there $60 deal. You get a pizza and unlimited drinks plus two hours of bowling with free shoe rental. We always have a great time my family and I when we go there.

Good for small parties. The kids enjoyed the games however there were very limited free games to enjoy during the free hour of the arcade games. Finger foods were really good. The hostess was great.

Came here to bowl last weekend. This is a very busy and jumping bowling alley. The dark setting is nice with the lights in the evening. The food is pedestrian, not terrible but nothing special.

I just had a fantastic birthday party for the husband at The Big Event this weekend and couldnt have asked for more! The staff is professional and very accommodating. Every detail was handled to perfection and I didnt worry about a thing! The venue is fantastic! Our guests are still talking about the bowling, billiards and ping pong challenges we had! The kids loved the arcade! It was great to have a stress free party and feel like a kid again! Thank you! Well be back!

Very Similar to Main Event Entertainment in Delaware, however I think Big Event is better and more of the fun place to be with plenty of things to do at really awesome prices during the week.

Love this place. They have Arcade games for kids in seperate area and they do offer birthday parties packages. I had my daughter’s 6th birthday party at this place and all her friends enjoyed a lot and liked the place.

Love The Big Event! So many things make this place great: the staff, the well-maintained space, the different packages available for parties & fundraisers, etc. The owner constantly changes the game room and is always in search of the best games for his customers. Its changed & grown so much in the last few years. The food and bar are reasonable priced. My favorite are the nachos!! My kids have bowled here on a league for 10 years now and I finally joined the pack about 5 years ago. Some day I hope to make it back to the newly added billiards. Its beautiful back there. In addition to all this, the big event offers free meeting space and many local businesses have taken advantage of it. Cant go wrong here!

I initially rated 4 stars because I thought the arcade was too expensive, but Im changing it to 5 stars. Extremely courteous staff. We won a stuffed animal in the arcade; when we got home, my son was so upset that he left it there. I called Big Event and they were more than helpful. They werent able to find it but told us we could have another one. Some businesses are so stingy nowadays that this was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being so kind!

I dont like this place its seems off to me. Just pay attention youll feel the negative energy. With the workers. Just trying to bowl and get a bit to eat and boy I tell you the the vibes are off.

A great place for the kids of all ages. Bowling, video arcade and pool hall. We have been playing a Tuesday night pool league now for over 10 years and always have a great time. Friendly staff and great games for the kids. Pool hall is located all the way in the back and tough to find if its your first time there. Mike and Kim always take care of you. Waitress in the pool hall is tough to find sometimes.

Where do I start? Well I guess one should always start from the very beginning; I was invited by my family for my nephews 5th birthday, so naturally I attended. The love of my life (Melanie) had to work on this day, so it was just me and 4 of our 5 kids. After a short time bowling, the hallucinogens kicked in. I later woke up to the sound of sirens followed by the the smell burning flesh of the wicked. When I arrived to the police department, I was shown the video of what I hadnt remembered. Wow, Im not a wild guy so it must have all been a part of the experience. 6 year old bowling birthday party was a big hit! The kids enjoyed themselves and Silvia was very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this place in the future!

I took my girl here and we had a bad experience...the claw machines are rigged for you to lose,the pizza tasted horrible and the lanes seemed off...but the air hockey was cool!!I usually goto the bowling alley on rt73 in maple shade...its a little cheaper,the pizza is awesome and the lanes and balls are better...

AMAZING PLACE! So much fun and my son loves going there! Prices are great and there is always some type of deal going on! Everyone who works there is super friendly! My son is doing his 1st bowling leauge this year and the coaches are amazing! They have such patience with my son. Highly recommend!

Bowling was good.Arcade was a rip off. The claw games are rigged. My son picked the prize up and then it would open the claw as soon as it got almost to the drop box.

We hosted my sons birthday party here tonight and satisfied is an understatement! There was so much included in the “It’s My Party” package for the price. The food was delicious and the staff went out their was to make sure we had everything we need and more. I’m also a person for details and they didn’t leave anything out. Boy Scout troop had a fun time at a Saturday special rate period from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.

I had my sons 10th birthday party here over the weekend (april 6th) and it was very disappointing. Very disappointing and way overpriced, our host was rude, uninterested and inattentive the entire time. When she wasnt following the children around stating what theyhe repeatedly tried serving cake that she grabbed with her bare hands to my guests (after i asked her numerous times not to touch it, after seeing that) we were rushed out of every section...it just was not very pleasant at all .Im not sureif i would even return on a regular basis let alone consider having another party here. There are way better options for much better prices.

The bowling was fun, the staff were nice, and the arcade was really great. Came here with my wife and we had a great time. Well be coming back again before leaving Jersey to go home.

Great place to take the kids. My grand kids love this place and so do I. Their prices are great too! Makes it very affordable to take my 5 grand kids there and NOT having to worry about spending a fortune! The kids love the Velcro wall its funny watching them jump and stick to the wall.

A fun place to bowl but came in with my friend whose in a wheelchair and had to wait an hour and a half because they had parties and non handicap people on the handicap lanes. I have experience working at a bowling alley and if there are open lanes you NEVER give those lanes away. Really should consider making all the lanes accessible if thats how youre going to be.

I just dont like their pizza. Everything else is pretty great!!!

My kids and I went here today and was completely amazed how cool this place is. I was imagining a small arcade area and a bowling alley, however this was not the case. This place has everything for kids to adults. A big arcade area with a party room. I would call it a clean chuckie cheese. My kids had a nice time playing the games. Also, for adults there are foosball, shuffle board, billiards and even ping pong. The prices are very reasonable and even if you dont play the adult games for an hour they will even prorate your cost.will definitely come back here. Bowling alley looks like its in great condition and had the holiday lights on the pins. A really cool place and very close to all the major highway arteries.

This is a great place to go for both kids and adults. I have had a few parties there, and everyone was done perfectly. I highly suggest The Big Event for your childs birthday party, work party, or just A day or night out. The food is great and the staff members are outstanding. Maggie does a great job.

I have had many great experiences here between birthday parties, family nights and meetings. We especially had a great experience with our bowling fundraiser for breast cancer! The staff was so accommodating and made it a smooth event. Thank you for a great local place to bring families!

It was a normal bowling alley. There are projector screens showing music videos which was cool but they were placed so its distracting for the bowlers. We went on a Saturday early evening and it was practically empty. We also went into the arcade. They have a nice selection of games but its SO expensive. Way more expensive than Dave and Busters. Would recommend for bowling. It was about $40 for three ppl to play 2 games, if I remember correctly.
