AMC Cherry Hill 24

Very impressed with the new reclining seats. I wish they could have reclined more, but the best reclining seats Ive experienced at a theatre so far. Also, the IMAX Theatre 24 had pinks probably from the lens.

A really big probably the nicest AMC I have been to. They have a huge concession area and of course 24 movie screens. I found the chairs comfortable and the place relatively clean. It would have been nice to have bathrooms down each corridor rather than centrally located. There is plenty of parking and it was easy to purchase tickets.

As much as I like movies, regal is so much better to work with. At Cherry hills AMC they dont ask to scan for rewards when you buy tickets (at least what Ive experienced) so you have to go through and give them your account number after? Its nice that you can refill your cups though, so thats a plus.

One of my favorite IMAX venues. Heres an example of why. Due to technical difficulties the movie started late. Matt apologized profusely and gave everyone in the theater free passes to use later. When a business treats its customers like this? That is a business you loyally support

The new Dolby theater is such a great experience. Super sharp image, great contrast and the seats have built in shakers for those big impact moments. Definitely a new favorite theater.My only complaint is that the seats are just not comfortable at all when they recline. The leg support is short and only reclines about 45 degrees and the head rest doesnt go back very far.

We booked a private theater and when we arrived it was dirty! Popcorn all over floor and seats dirty. I told staff and they sent a person to clean. The person sent to clean popped in and left back out saying it’s not that bad! Like Uhm you Guys say that you spray seats down and clean after every showing. With all that is going on it should not be a it’s not dirty enough for us to clean type of thing! Will take our money elsewhere next time!

They need to update the seating in that place like most other movie theaters have to the comfy recliners

The theater was empty so we sat wherever we wanted and we loved the movie

Nice theatre, clean, only 4 stars because the popcorn wasnt fresh.

We purchased three tickets in the middle row and were the first to purchase tickets in that theater for that showtime. We purchased these tickets 24 hours prior to the show.A few hours before the show we check the seating chart and noticed that they had allowed somebody to buy two seats right next to us with only one seat of space between us and the complete strangers. I called and spoke to a manager and she said that corporate regulates the guidelines for their theaters and COVID-19. One seat is not even close to 6 feet of social distance...it was barely a few inches. The manager had moved us a seat down and had blocked off the ends for us but that did not stop what happened in the theater.Even with pre-picking your seats that doesn’t mean anything when you get inside the theater nobody was sitting in the correct seats and there was nobody checking or in forcing these guidelines. The staff also allowed a group of teenagers to purchase tickets at the door an hour into the show. These teenagers paraded through the theater causing a ruckus without their masks on and sat directly in front of us - those seats were blocked off for a reason.My girlfriend said something to the group that sat in front of us along the lines of that’s not following social distancing hinting at them to move. One of the smart mouth teenagers turned around and asked her “What the f*** did you say to me?” I am mediately got up and went to speak to the manager. I explain the situation she basically shrugged her shoulders and hesitantly gave us a refund with a big sigh and told us that she could not kick them out because it would disrupt the movie. I thanked her for the refund and walked back to the theater to get my girlfriend and her sister. I was being yelled at that I was not allowed to go back to the theater because she had just issued the refund. Both the manager and the young man behind the counter who was on FaceTime, seemed annoyed with us coming to them.If you were looking to see a movie at this theater, you may want to think twice if social distancing means anything of importance to you because AMC Cherry Hill does not seem to care in the slightest not just by the displays of management and employees this evening but by their seat selection process. There were no signs posted about masks or social distancing anywhere inside the theater. A few employees were not even wearing masks while walking around cleaning.What was supposed to be a pleasant evening turned into nothing call an issue and inconvenience for us who did not do anything wrong. Suggestion from common sense of somebody who cares about their safety and safety of others would be to start following CDC guidelines especially in the state of New Jersey, our governor is quick the shut down businesses not following the law. Tonight‘s actions at AMC Cherry Hill are clearly not following the law and guidelines

AMC Cherry Hill 24 was very similar to other AMC theatres I have visited. The staff were friendly and helpful. The theater was comfortable. Though we were in a smaller theater and the movie was close to capacity, it was comfortable, the sound was excellent and the screen filled my view.The one thing everyone needs to know about AMC is to buy into their STUBBS program. It is a yearly fee that is minimal (think $15) but the perks you receive are completely worth it. You get preferred treatment on ticket lines, and snack lines. Each year on your birthday you get a free large popcorn and soda. And every popcorn and soda is automatically upgraded to the largest size and the popcorn is refillable for free. Excellent value.

Went to see Freaky Vince Vaughn film Terrific

Line for popcorn was extremely long at 7:40 and they only had 2 working registers. They were also out of gourmet popcorn. I couldve stayed home.

The seats were NOT recliners in theater #8. There was a long line to buy a ticket. Faster to use the self service machines. Some self service ticket machines were out of printing paper. Ticket machines credit card were NOT chip enabled yet still swipe only. Back parking lot doors are NOT being used as an entry. Did allow exact seating #s .

Its good place. Very busy and refreshment lines can be very long. Its better to buy ticket online or prior to coming to movies is recommended. May its because of weekend gets busy...overall pretty good

Clean, and the dobly theater is top notch.

Went to see a movie at the new Dolby Cinema, and it was really good. While the screen never got close to pitch black like it was supposed to, and I couldnt find a recliner position that was entirely comfortable, the picture and sound quality were still a huge step up from standard theater screens and the staggered seating gives you great sight lines. Everything else about the theater seemed fine.

The feel of this movie theater is really retro. Maybe 50s era? It provides all that you need: modern ticketing, food, and nice theaters. Parking is really good too.

I love this movie theater ️ My only issue is with movie theaters everywhere, the prices for food Not everyone has $50-$100 to spend on one trip to the movies. I get they make theyre money that way but I dont think I should have to wait to take my kids to see the next big movie because I cant afford the food! Or go on a date night because its crazy expensive.. We work hard but after paying bills we dont have much left over. How about $2 for a medium popcorn instead of $8. Or $2 for a hot dog instead of $6??? They can still make money and not ruin our night out. It genuinely makes me sad Ive had to tell my daughter on her birthday that I cant afford a gift and a movie. That feeling sucks as a parent

This place is very unorganized and filthy. As soon as you walk in you have to figure out where to go. I had to wait over 20 minutes in line to order my snacks and then walk through the crowd to get to the self serve soda machine, which only 1 of the 3 machine had ice. The theater does not have the reclining chairs, which I thought it did since I had to reserved my seats online. The trash is overflowing and the staff are not helpful. The audience was very respectful and quiet throughout the movie.

Nice theater, staff was friendly. Clean, well kept. We would definitely go back to this location.

Exelent Services And Treatment

So many glitches -- there are 7 electronic ticket kiosks but only 1 works, paper towel dispensers empty in the bathrooms, etc. The seats are not very comfortable and rows are too close together. It was fine but more like a discount place than a first run theater. Staff were trying to be helpful but management clearly let them down.

I’ve been going to a lot of movie theaters lately with all the great movies that have been released and unfortunately Cherry Hill was one of the least impressive I’ve been to between Phila and NJ. The employees were rude at best, theaters are cramped and could use a good cleaning as did the bathrooms. The only plus was that the picture quality along with the sound were fantastic. I’d recommend going to another theater.

Clean. Seats need to be upgraded though.

I really appreciate the variety of films playing at any one time. This theater plays films that most theaters have already phased out. The one downside is the seating. Most other theaters have upgraded and renovated their seating, while this one still has old chairs without the leg rest.

Great place to watch a movie. Love being able to choose seats online. Comfortable seating and plenty of parking.

Been here a few times now. Not all the theatres have the reclining seats. Appearance is pretty clean. Never been here when its busy.

Seats were uncomfortable. It kinda sucked to sit completely straight up . I was trying to get my shoulder leaned iykyk!

I love the atmosphere of this movie theater. The seating is comfortable and inviting, and their food is great. Highly recommend this place.

Great theater if you like watching a movie in an ice box. I was lucky enough to have brought my jacket in with me. My friend wasnt so lucky. Its December, turn the heat on!

There were actually some writers, producers, actors and actresses there when we were headed to see our movie. They were doing a Premiere on the new series Chase Street about Camden. This should be great. I cant wait to watch it! Growing up around Camden and living in Camden for a time, I know how great the show would be if it were based on true events. Its fiction, but there are so many stories coming out of that city. You could pick any person and do a show on them. All true stories, from being a kid to now, and it would blow your mind how great these stories are, if told by the right writer. Most people in Camden have been through so much and keep it moving. Some recover, some get out of the life, some dont make it. Its great when they do make it.

Nice place to watch movies. Popcorn and a drink as usual over priced but the comfortable seating made up for it. They have late night showings during the week so after work I was able to watch a movie. Great parking.

I treated myself to a movie during my business trip. It was a spontaneous decision at the last minute but definitely worth my time. The staff was pleasant, the bathroom was clean, and the popcorn was popping!!! #Hustler JLo did her thing as usual. She is an amazing actress

The theater was fine, Reserved seating makes all the difference. The theater seats still the old that does recline but there is ample room. They scan the qrcode at the door and youre in. This theater is convenient .

Got to the movie theater about 15 minutes early. Waited and waited and waited and waited. The computer stopped working so the manager had to come to the rescue. But where is the manager? The staff doesnt even know. Its now a minute until the movie starts and computer is still loading. This place is not cheaper and not worth the effort. Just go somewhere else thats clean, up to par, and has working staff.

This place needs a complete ovehaul since AMC took over this location. When you come in, it is not east to navigate. It definitely needs better way findings. The way they have the line set up for concessions and check-in for your ticket makes it a bottle neck. If the bathrooms are crowded, it would be highly congested.This place has gone downhill. Bathrooms are really dirty. Concessions stands don’t look clean. Shipment boxes are everywhere even in the guest services.The only thing I would give a 5-star is the dolby theater they have. It makes worth going to see a movie in Dolby. Everything else is a 1 star. AMC PLEASE REMODEL THIS PLACE.

Tuesday night are 5 dollar movies, but I like Monday, quiet and enjoyable with my wife.

Great movie and the place was very clean. Popcorn excellent. Just one thing, very cold in our theater #1

So I base this off when I go. 1) I purchase tickets online so no line. 2) While there are lines always at the concession, the people are nice. 3) I dont find issues with my seats because I pick the same seat. 4) I always do matinees because night crowds at most theaters imo are populated by the worst of humanity. Ive streamlined my movie going experience for the least bit of hassle.With all that said I do understand why others may complain. This place is old and every once in awhile I see a dirty seat. The bathrooms arent great. Overall if you set your expectations reasonably its a good theatre. The IMAX is great. Im not a picky person though so your mileage may vary. For its a four star experience unless I have a reason to revisit the rating.

Ive been in this area for quite some time and have noticed some changes for this theatre. Years ago, when they replaced the walking bridge over Route 38 connecting the mall to here, this quickly became a hub for hanging out. It was the place to go on the weekends as a teenager. Now, that no longer seems to be case. It isnt as crowded as it used to be, which is great.They recently adopted the reserve seatings like everyone else, but I dont think they need reclining seats. The theatre rooms are huge and the seats are just fine. The food has always been overpriced, so just dont go with an empty stomach and youll be fine. Enjoy!

Got their at 11:25am movie starts at 12pm. Doors was still locked..so at 11:35 got out and tried to signal to workers inside and they was looking at me like Im crazy.. Thank goodness they was receiving a order and he asked for me ..door didnt open until 11:53pm..

Good snacks. Not my favorite theater.

Theaters are nice but bathrooms on many occasions need attention. They have a decent selection at the concession and plenty Coke remix machines

It is a very nice movie theater complex. The seats are comfortable and with the steep theater seating, no one in front of you blocks your view. The staff are very friendly & polite. It is also very clean. Two thumbs up!

Clean, open, and the service was superb. I dont think Ive ever felt such high quality at a movie theater, they were super knowledgeable about movies and super helpful with everything from closed captions to tickets, etc. Would definitely go back to this location again!

This is one of the best movie theaters in this part of New Jersey; I saw STAR WARS - THE FORCE AWAKENS here on opening night, and they handled the crowds. If things havent changed they have Fandango integration and reserved seating - its basically the best you can get short of actually going to one of those restaurant theaters (the nearest of which is I believe in Philadelphia). Would recommend.

Overall a great theater once you enter the assigned theater room, but the entrance is a bit cramped and can be confusing. The popcorn is over salted to where it almost feels like its burning my tongue. The theater rooms themselves are nice from my experience, and the regular seats are comfortable if your movie doesnt have reserved seating.

I quite liked the cinematic view of it.

I went to a 1pm showing of The Goldfinch on a Saturday. They had the ticket machines in front, but some were out of order or partially functioning. This resulted in a duplicate transaction & I had to see guest services for a refund, which went smoothly. The staff I interacted with were very friendly despite somewhat long lines & only one concession stand being open & one ticket register. Im not sure if the popcorn is freshly popped because an employee refilled the popcorn case with popcorn from a giant plastic bag. It still got the job done, but it wasnt as good as popcorn Ive had at other theaters. The ladies room looked clean, but the stalls smelled like urine/ the mens room. I had to make sure I was in the right place, LOL! The actual theater was clean & outdated. The seats reclined, but not mechanically, which was a let down. Theyre doing construction, so maybe theyll be adding the mechanical seats that make me feel like Im watching a movie on the couch or in bed at home. Id return if theyre showing a movie at a desired time, but otherwise, Id pass.

Worst experience at the theater! It was disgusting. Trash everywhere. The seats in theater 22 were partially broken. There was an issue with overcrowding seats. The womens bathroom had to pee on the floor. Overall experience dont go to Cherry Hill AMC.

For the price you pay for tickets then the concession stand the need some major improvements. Clean up is a must everywhere, need more workers in the concession stand, also information both was unattended for a good while people gave up and left disappointed. If its like that we might just tell friends and family lets drive a little more to a different theater.

Saw an imax movie here. The screen had random discolored dots on it. Once i saw them, it totally took me out of the movie. Didnt enjoy paying that premium price for such a huge eyesore.

Newly renovated theater was clean and quiet. The reclining seats were very comfortable. Snack bar had a lot of options. A nice addition to this movie theater complex.

Good place to watch a movie. Think it could be cleaned better. Always feels like something is crawling on me. Mens Bathroom can be taken care of better.

The theater could use an update, but the Oscar Showcase event was fantastic. It was well-organized and the staff was great.

AMC 24 offers good movie watching experience, but not great. The screening rooms are kept clean but it feels like the lobby and bathrooms have a funk about them that turn you off. This AMC has a Dolby cinema on site, which is a great way to experience action films or more cinematic films, so this is a huge positive. However, they insist on keeping the lights on during the trailers so you can not see what is happening on screen. Also, I wish they monitored more closely for rude customers periodically throughout films. On too many occasions people near us or a few rows in front are using their cell phone.

Amazing IMAX Laser 3D. Great recliners. Delicious popcorn. Great seating setup.

AMC Corporate. Listen up. I took my wife last night. She was totally creeped out by this experience. I would never let my wife or daughter go to this thestre after dark. Lighting is dark inside. Tons of fixtures broken. Darkest outer building and parking lot I have ever been to. Theatre not cleaned. Urinal falling off wall in restroom. Somebody fix this theatre. This is a disgusting shame.

Jersey justhas got better stuff than Philly, like less lines on Tuesdays discounted movie day @ AMC. The staff was helpful & the bathrooms were clean....I will return.

This movie theater was the most disgusting theater I’ve ever been to. I think even more disgusting than the $1 movie theater I went to as a teenager in Reading, PA. We went for discount night and I’m not sure if they were overwhelmed or it’s just always that dirty. I have a slight feeling it wouldn’t be much better if they weren’t super busy. At the drink station there were slushees everywhere, garbage everywhere, so gross! Bathroom was a nightmare. A woman was sweeping the floor when I went in but I went into 4-5 stalls without toilet paper. Then other numerous stalls either had feces or urine on the toilet seat. The trash cans were also overflowing with paper towels in the bathrooms. The theater itself had a terrible odor. It smelled awful. This place is absolutely disgusting and I don’t plan on going back.

It was great. Servise is good too for a 2 am movie

Your typical AMC theater. You should book online in advance and do assign seating with the IMAX theater. Then go to the kiosk to print your ticket.

The sears were from the 90s so very uncomfortable. But the lady that gave me the tickets was a delight! Thats the only reason im giving it a three

We didnt get set where we ready wanted and little kids was behide me kicking my seat . The price of the food and snacks to much yous for real the food was not good it was worst then freezen dinners. Other then that the movie was the best thing.

Management and also Jermaine the cashier are very professional accommodating and polite! Food was good fresh hot. The juice was perfect & pizza were good as well.

I was in theatre one and ALL of the seats are very heavily stained with what could be urine? drink? feces? condiments? blood? (I cant tell. You tell me), and even the back of the seats and floor have caked on crust. It looked like a murder scene that was never cleaned up, or they let homeless people stay there a month, and they just relieved themselves in the seats every day. They keep it really dark, but turn on your phone light and take a look before sitting down. I had to go through 3 rows before finding a seat that only had one smaller stain, and the only reason I sat on that was because the first seat I sat in was damp, and I already had filth on me.

Really nice theatre, you get to pick your seat, they have a lot of good snacks.

Being that we just went to see Avengers End Game and it was very busy, I would hope that it would have been cleaner. The bathrooms were not in working order and trash was overflowing. I think they could have kept up better. But the theater was clean and nice.

Classic large upscale movie theater. Onsite food menu, many movie choices and nice size viewing rooms. Plenty of parking space, nice area, all amenities. Online ticketing and joining Fandango or the AMC STRONGLY RECOMMENDED as ticket lines get very long. Otherwise always a pleasant watching experience.

Machines werent working on the 14th so i alot of people couldnt get snacks or drinks

I found that the movies, each has something to offer the viewers. The IP Man4 is both unbelievable and historical, from IPMan 1- 4. But Jumanji not so magical, mysterious and something unexpected. You can say that thanks to AMC in Cherry Hill, its the best place to spend time with your friends and family.

The staff was awesome and it was clean but them seats... Smh Jesus be a fence. Unless you got a massage appointment soon or icy hot nearby dont do it to yourself.

No reclining seats but everything else is nice

The chairs are upgraded to the BEST leather and design. Lots of space in the aisles and in front of the seats. Super-wide screens. If I lived nearby, I would go there all the time!

The two things that this theater needs is a good cleaning and recliner seating. The Theater itself is fairly clean, but the soda machines and butter machines are always oily, trashy with cups and plastic wraps, etc. The recliner seating speaks for itself. Its a good theater with nice staff, which is why Ill only take off 1 star.

A+++ this is a great movie theater. They have recently renovated some of the theaters and I imagine that they will eventually remodel the entire place. Staff is always super helpful in this location. Maybe people have forgotten this theater with all the newer ones with reclining seats. This theater is still the best in my opinion!

Maybe I growing up in a different country where the theater was a regular thing (and reasonably priced) is making this review biased, but the experience is just not worth it. My wife and I paid $18 for a large popcorn and 2 bottles of water, which quickly became an inside joke... until now.Other than that, its what you can expect from Cherry Hill. Theres nothing exceptional about the theater, and I would heavily consider paying the high fees again.Fill yourself up before your movie trip, or be ready to drop another ticket for food.I would not recommend it.

Very expensive, foods not good and so many people come here from the Ghetto. Its like a hangout for teenagers with no respect. Not family oriented after 6pm.I would recommend Moorestown theater its 10 minutes from this one on Route 38.

The theatre is fine, but needs to be refreshed. They are still using old style seats...at least its stadium seats. The speakers are bad. Was watching Rocketman and i commented to my wife that we would have enjoyed the sound on our home system way more

My opinion, I think this theater can be amazing once again. It needs a little renovating starting with the seating. The seat in the theaters smells funny and rude people put bubble gum all some of them. lighting in the roofs at the entrance used to be amazing now theyre just switched Off. Theater 22 the screen was a bit grainy.

Cheap matinees always good to see a new release for six bucks. Lobby and theater exteriors could use a bit of an update

If you cant find a movie you want to see here then its not playing anywhere. So many theatres, Seating is comfortable, nit like those big recliners. Big screens. Good concessions. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Plenty parking. Good all around. Get the AMC card & get rewards too!!!
