This is a really nice place right here in the middle of the community. They have a playground for kids. They do after school care. They do a summer camp program. They host many different events in the community. The track around John A. Is A 1/2 mile.

We havent been inside the building, but the playground and field are great for all ages and activities!

Wonderful playground. They had unique play features for all different ages, but everyones favorite was the tilt-a-whirl where you grabbed on and pushed yourself and your friends off the ground and around the circle. At first the parents were just helping the little kids but it was so much fun that we did it too! SO much fun, and also great exercise! Way to make exercise fun!

This is such a wonderful facility and the residents nearby are very fortunate to have it. I cant believe on a beautiful 72° day that me and the grandbaby are the only ones here. But we have enjoyed it!

Love this park. Easy access and good parking. Kids love the various objects to play on.

Excellent track for walking, running, or biking. Pet friendly, and the building offers gymnasium and large, open rooms where classes like ballet are given. Well kept grounds are a wonderful place for families with kids can use the playground with adjoining bathrooms.

Going back in time for me!!! Graduated from here and it brought back some great memories! Glad they have the building still up will have to come back with my kids.

Great park i go the there with my daughter ever other Saturday. She loves playing with the other kids they also have a good dance program also ive been wanting to sign my daughter up for. We will continue to go to the park every week and ill post pictures also.

They really do so much for our local community. They offer programs for children and even have classes the elderly take every year they do Halloween for the kids. Theres a playground, ball field, complete indoor basketball court. Places like this are truly a blessing for the community

This historic building, in the heart of Lookout Valley, plays host to events supporting the community and is a safe place for local youth to enjoy a variety of activities. The Patten recreation center is immaculately maintained, and serves as a time capsule, representing an Era that may have long passed but lives on in the hearts and minds of Lookout Valley natives.

Weve been here twice during road trips. The kids LOVE the playground here! Its a great place to get out and stretch and run around before resuming a long trip.

John A Patten is a great place, but when you go there after school then its to strict. Other than that its great especially the playground.
