Phenomenal country club! The golf course is in great shape. The club house is very new. The food is excellent. The members are very kind and inviting.The golf course has some holes that appear like straight forward golf, but don’t let that fool you to the challenging holes ahead. The course is full of character and picturesque scenes throughout.One of the best parts of Pine Island is the inviting nature of the members. The members are very inviting and welcoming of others to play in their groups. The camaraderie fostered amongst the members is evident and furthers the experience and level of golf.If you’re looking for a great experience the team at Pine Island certainly can make that happen. Great job!

The executive Chef is doing an amazing job here at the club. Thoughtful and innovative recipes for familiar classics and new gastronomic adventures. Great views from the veranda too...

Clean course

Every visit here has always been excellent. The pool is a wonderful amenity that the entire family will enjoy. If youre looking for a nice place to take friends to lunch or somewhere different to have dinner, look no further than the restaurant inside.

My Wife and I had our wedding here on September 21st and we truly chose the perfect venue. From the beginning of our planning process, Maura was amazing. We can’t say enough about how wonderful she is! There were no questions or concerns that went unanswered. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable and the venue staff was extremely accommodating.On wedding day, everything was beautiful! Our guests absolutely loved the venue and location. The Pine Island is stunning with beautiful views. I would recommend the Pine Island and Maura to everyone! You will love it!!

If you are a young professional in Charlotte and you love golf, then join Pine Island. There are roughly 50 members (maybe even more) that are all young professionals and single digit handicaps, so you will never lack a good game.The membership director, Dan, is a class act and will treat you right. Membership is affordable and its only a 15 min drive from Uptown. Its a no brainer! Come on out and join the Island!

Attended a graduation party tonight and it was beautiful. The staff were polite and helpful. The club and course is simply GORGEOUS!!! Not to mention the BREATHTAKING sunset view you will get; youll definitely want a picture of yourself with it in the background! GREAT place all around.

Played it twice two of myFriends are new members here, can’t give fair course evaluation because it was winter and wet, the clubhouse is definitely nice and I would consider membership here in the future .

Great course, great people. Took a tour, played the course, and joined the same day. Course is in great shape and good location from uptown. If you’re thinking about it, you should visit. Dan will take care of you.Update: The Pro, Joey Schneider is first class. I have been taking lessons with him for 6 weeks and it has been worth every penny.

Its alright I guess doesnt feel too safe at times other than that, on top of that its a little pricey considering what you get in return

There was no one at the front to greet us and offer any information about memberships. The carpets and walls were visibly grimy. While there was a video about upcoming renovations, it was painfully slow and had very little actual info. This place should have been renovated decades ago. Also an occasional deep clean and fresh coat of paint would have done it some good.

Course was in great shape

My family, friends, and I just love this place. Really great, growing young-professional crowd and the pool is perfect for the family. The golf course is beautiful and continues to be invested in. The staff is friendly, and the food and beverage offerings are delicious. It’s a fun place to hang out and we look forward to enjoying all the creative updates underway at the club. Many thanks to the owners, staff, and fellow members that make this place special.

A Birthday party for my brother-n-law

My husband and I JUST married on Friday, March 24, 2017. I typically dont write reviews for anything, but this is different. My first encounter with the country club wedding coordinator was amazing. She explained the options and customized our wedding to fit our wants and budget. Sandi, the event planner, and I best communicated via email because its so convenient and hassle free. Sandi never tried to rush any of the decision making. I emailed her only about 1,000 times (lol) over the course of 9 months.Every detail that I had requested was carried out, from hanging our engagement shirts on the bathroom doors to slanting the chairs for the ceremony and so many other details in between. Everyone raved about the flavorful, juicy salmon, the well prepared steak and the perfectly seasoned chicken. The service for my bridal shoot, rehearsal, and our wedding was top notch. I cant Thank Sandi and Isabel and the Pine Island Country Club staff enough for making our special day PERFECT!Thank you so much!

High and island is a awesome golf course. State Of the art clubhouse. You can tell the staff Loves their jobs. The owners are very much involved. Great layout.

Nice venue.. Really dry food. All three choices fish steak and chicken, dry so dry. Nice appetisers and the carrots were tasty as well as the dressing. The seasoning on the entrys was nice. I just can figure how they made good food become so dry like it was in a warmer for days. Must be the timing and delivery of when it comes out of the oven and when it is served. Its not easy to serve 125 people and have the food come out hot and moist. But its absolutely required.

Had my wedding here back in August and it was amazing! Sandi the wedding coordinator was awesome, always on top of things and so helpful! She was great to work with and was willing to be flexible with me so that my wedding would fit in my budget and be everything that I wanted it to be! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Definitely would recommend this venue for someones wedding.

Lovely venue for weddings!

Pine Island is always in good shape, the staff is friendly and helpful. For a shorter course it plays longer because of a good mix of challenging holes. The club house and banquet facilities are also very nice. Great place for an event or wedding.

Great golf course & staff.

Played a charity tournament here and really liked the layout of the course. The course was in great shape and I look forward to playing here again. The greens were not super fast but they were smooth.

This place is very upscale and inviting. I am not a golfer but I would definitely try Pine Island Country Club as an option.

We just had our daughters wedding there..did the ceremony and reception. The coordinators they offered are definitely worth using! I had not lived in Charlotte that long and Brittanie took care of ordering things for me that I didnt know where to go. They have suggestions of vendors but you are free to use whomever you want. The day arrived and everything was set up as I wanted and Brittanie and Ashley had everything running like clockwork. I actually got to enjoy this wedding! I really liked this place and my daughter was very happy how all went. Had tons of compliments in everything! Food was great too!
