A wonderful experience and great place for private events. Each art room provides a wonderful space for Creatives to do what they are gifted to do.

Went there for the forward faster breakfast series and I thought it was amazing. If the other events they have there are as good as this one then I highly recommend checking it out.

If you are a real art nerd you might give this four or five stars. I am just a casual art observer so it was not impressive to me. Most of the artists in residence were not there when we visited so there was very little see.

Went here for a training. This is a historic church that has been converted. The basement is great for conferences, staff development, and or small receptions. Bathrooms are accessible but I am not certain that wheelchairs are.

Love it! My husband and I attended a summer event here and we fell in love. We loved being able to meet some of the artist and learn about the inspiration behind their creations.

Several residents share their collective pieces. Installments, exhibitions, films and family workshops are all part of their offerings. McColl operates off of donations. Please consider giving if you have the ability when visiting, however no one will be turned away. Great staff. Friendly and welcoming resident artists.

This gallery is more than that! Artists have places to create through the spaces that where created when the original structure was saved and converted into a space that promotes and supports a place where art can thrive. It is lovely inside and the staff is helpful knowledgeable and it is a fantastic piece of Charlottes history. Easy to find. Lots of fun venues and reasturants close by! Visit Carpe Diem reasturant close by for lovely french style with a local flair! Staff will make you feel welcome while you relax and dine. That was my experience as I explored Charlotte NC. Great space for viewing and engaging with other artists types.

The artists werent in-house when I was there, so no comment on that aspect. I was there for a corporate event that focused on creative thinking, and it was excellent.

Awesome place to appreciate the work of new and innovating artists. Has a good old timey vibe to it.

McColl Center for Art and Innovation is a visual arts residency program. Monthly programs, gallery shows, and the chance to meet visual artists in their studios is a delight, as is the building in which it is located, a former church that suffered a severe fire but which has been entirely restored on the outside and repurposed on the inside.

Its a great place for the art community to visit and work. I wish they advertised more for opening and events. I never know whats going on unless my teachers from uncc are involved.

This place teaches you to think like an artist.

Terrific arts space. Attend the Bloom performance and I was blown away.
