Fun place that provides a unique local experience. Staff is friendly and welcoming, location is clean, and drink and snack options are solid. The upstairs game room also provides a nice space for less active outings.

This was my first time axe throwing and it was a blast! They have food and drinks as well. The guy working there was very helpful and offered me suggestions, which were desperately needed! I will definitely be going back there.

Absolutely so much fun. Kenneth was extremely friendly and helpful in explaining what to do, we had a blast, the beers were flowing and the axes were flying. No axe-idents lol (sorry for the dad joke)

I LOVE this place!!! The staff is super friendly and informative, the ranges are safe and enclosed, the axes are dulled and the wood is kept fairly moist to assist in the axe sticking in the wood (for that extra bit of fun)!I had a Blueberry drink from Odells and it was soooooo good! Highly recommend this facility!!

This is a Charleston must do... What a fantastic time. The staff is great. They are so helpful and willing to teach you how to adjust your throw for success.

Shown up just now at 5:30 pm on a tuesday. And the place is completely closed with no indication that it was closed. The website says open till 10pm. Noone answering the phone. Very disappointing, especially since me and my friends drove well over an hour to get here.

I would of preferredA blueberry or blackberry which they didn’t have ...The axe throwing ... which is in a safe location in the backFor me I wasn’t into the loud clunky noise it just didn’t pair with the ambiance of However it’s different and some people might enjoy something different to do and the noise wouldn’t bother themI prefer drinking listening to music and not hearing the axes as background noise.

Had a great time, $40 for 4 people for an hour was a good deal. Staff was very safety conscious.

This was definitely one of the most unique things I have seen. We got a recommendation for Axes and Ales from a local and had to check it out. The staff, Donny in particular, were very helpful. Held a great conversation and showed us exactly how to throw. The people next to us said they drove over an hour to get here. I would definitely recommend Axes and Ales to someone looking foor a good time in a casual place.

Very fun place. Dont need to drink to enjoy yourself. Small location, but definitely a must do if you live or are visiting Charleston.

$40/hr for 4 people is a great price for a unique experience. The staff was helpful and willing to help teach us to throw even though we were all pretty bad at it. However, the food and beer is so expensive, eat before you get there.

Really fun place to grab a beer and catch up with friends! Axe throwing is such a unique attraction, this is a great place to take friends visiting. There is also a board game section upstairs with various games

Axe throwing is a super fun and relatively inexpensive activity. The team here is great : they provide instruction, hands on help for anyone struggling, as well as simple pointers for different styles of throwing. The good at the deli is really good--these are hearty, Boars head sandwiches. Best and wine are also available for purchase. We used it as a team building activity at work and everyone had a great time.

We haven’t even left yet and I’m leaving a review because of how awesome or experience was!! Michelle is the best, so accommodating and really made the whole thing more fun! My husband has a new favorite hobby!

This place is fun!!! They have a 2 drink maximum and you need to wear closed toe shoes when participating in the axe throwing. The owner is very knowledgeable and he and his partner Walk around during the throwing time to offer tips and guidance to make your throwin skills better! They have a deli if youre hungry, I didnt get anything, but it all looked very tasty. They offer a variety of beer and local wine! Try the blackberry Merlot, its fantastic!
